Apartamento amplio pero muy viejo

El apartamento es muy céntrico, con centro comercial con supermercado al lado, es amplio y está limpio La anfitriona es agradable y la cama y las almohadas viscoelásticas son cómodas.

Es un edificio muy viejo y con muy mala distribución y el mobiliario también muy viejo y casposo, tiene trastos por toda la casa, ni siquiera hay un armario libre para dejar las cosas,. El baño es diminuto. Aunque tiene varias estancias solo tiene un dormitorio, después hay dos sofás cama en el salón y en otra estancia de paso.

Very good

Spacious holiday apartment in the old town of Riga. Everything was within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable with memory foam pillows. We were able to do a load of laundry and everything was available (detergent, fabric softener and a drying rack). Irina was very flexible and a gracious hostess and always responded to texts right away. We are grateful to her for bringing the key over later than planned. Though I think the owner should consider a lockbox option for late arrivals and even more flexibility and independence.

I prefer a holiday apartment to have only the things guests actually need in it. This one is a little cluttered in the kitchen, for example. But it's possible that someone lives there while it's not being rented out. So I wouldn't expect them to throw away their spices, etc. But I would like the things from the previous renters to be removed from the fridge if they are already opened, such as margarine and mustard. And, while I appreciate the gesture of providing house shoes to change into, then these should be clean and not stretched out. A dishwasher would be nice to have. And I misunderstood the description on booking.com and expected a second bathroom and hot tub. To clarify: there is only ONE bathroom. There isn't an additional and/or separate toilet and/or a hot tub. There's a normal bathroom with a normal bathtub with a shower option. There was plenty of hot water for showers.

Great location for exploring Riga and Latvia in general. East access to wherever you needed to be. Our girls danced in the week long Song and Dance Festival and we had everything we needed to wash and clean and iron clothes and make our own meals when needed. Very responsive host. It was an easy spacious place to stay for 4 people.

Size and location of the apartment.

Cleanes. There was a thick layer of dust in the places you could not see. I have been looking for my phone under the bed and I am not sure it was ever cleaned there. Same behind curtains. There was a mold in the coffee maker.

The apartment was very nice and the location was excellent. Morris the owner was very responsive and helpful.

There was no jacuzzi/hot tub as stated in the facilities, and there was no wood to light the fire.

It was advertised as having 2 bedrooms but it’s rather 1 bedroom with a double bed, one ensuite with a sofabed, and living room with 2 sofabeds.

Disappointing

Irina is very nice! The appartment is located perfectly in the old town.

Unfortunately, this was not what we‘d expected. We booked this as described two- bedroom appartment, but it was a one bedroom appartment and a old, uncomfortable sleeping couch next to the kitchen. The interiour is very simple, old and not comfy. It was very cold inside all the time. You can‘t put on the central heating system. We were freezing so we fired the chimney on. It was not warming at all. After hours, it still had only about 10 degrees in the rooms. The bathroom is very small and has never been renovated. The towels and linen didn‘t smell good. This appartment was much too expensive for what it‘s got- i would not recommend to sleep here.

A perfect mini-vacation to visit a zoo, old town and some museums.

The time for picking up the keys was agreed via messaging. Met the person, got the keys and everything was settled.

I'm guessing Booking doesn't send information on children under 12. The booking was for 8 people (5 adults, 1 child 13 years old and 2 under 5 years old) but the recite said 6 people. The host mentioned it but it was not a problem.

Location and facilities

Great location and good for the restaurant and drinks. It is in the center of old town. Family can stay here and cook by yourself if needed. People is very friendly and helpful if you need any assistance., the taxi

Exceptional

Everything was super! Nice owner, huge appartment (basically 8 people can fit, 1 big bed and 3 expandable sofas), good location surrounded by many groceries. Even fireplace 🔥 ! But on top of that I almost cried when found out that TV is connected to Chromecast and I can cast films from my phone 😄
