Best choice!

I recommend Maria's excellent accommodation! There were ten of us, and we comfortably fit into the 6 rooms. The apartment is fully equipped and clean. Upon our arrival, some local delicacies awaited us on the table. The garden was filled with banana trees bearing fruit. The area is quiet and peaceful. Maria is an attentive host. Thank you!

Due to the high humidity, clothes dry slowly, so a dryer would be useful. I believe it would also be more economical, as there would be no need to use the air conditioning and dehumidifier simultaneously for extended periods.

Stay here! Truly a haven.

I arrived earlier than planned but Maria was so kind to accommodate me anyway. Travelling alone it was waaay more than I needed but what I used was truly excellent. At the risk of being too praising I really have nothing bad to say. The cleanliness was also noticeable. A fantastic view of the ocean and further parts of the island. If I visit again I hope to stay here, but then with company ofcourse ;)

Wifi cut out here and there but working properly where it did connect. Apart from wifi I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer (nothing to do with accommodation or owner).

The house is amazing, big, with garden, swimming pool 2 minutes from the house. All the furniture is new and the mattress are very very comfortable. The best thing was that Maria is an amazing host, always ready to help in any possible way. We are very thankful to her and hope be back soon. We only have great things to say about Maria's Haven!

We loved it!

Everything we needed to feel at home 🥰 Maria very friendly and helpful The swimming pool was great for our daughter, she loved it Beds very comfortable.

We were a bit surprised that the swimming pool was a 2-minute walk away, but it was not a problem at all!

Great location, modern clean big house, beautiful backyard, lovely host, perfect stay!

Great location in a non-touristy town. Modern, clean, big house. Very friendly and helpful host. Beautiful garden. Washing machine and dishwasher. Fresh clean towels whenever. Parking on the property. It was a great stay!

The house is brand new with all the services you may need. Stunning garden with grill, barbecue and a bonfire place. You have a board inside with a list of all the activities and places to visit on the island. One of the best host ever met: Maria is radiant, helpful and even came during the night to solve a problem due to a general blackout.

Without a car the house is pretty far from the city, but renting one avoids the problem: you can reach every place within 1 hour / 1 hour and a half.

The place is very modern and cozy, and we felt like at home.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in a totally renovated house in a typical Azorian small town. The house was very comfortable and clean. There is a beautiful garden behind it, with a lot of hydrangeas in bloom and fruit trees. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Communication with Maria was excellent.

Very clean house in a very nice location. Facility had everything we needed, comfortable beds, washing machine, dishwasher and a pool nearby!

Very annoying roosters from neighbors screaming at night/early morning. I highly recommend earplugs for anyone caring about his sleep.

A softer light in the living room would have been nice in the evenings. We used one from the bedroom so it wasn't a problem.

The house was very spacious, clean, modern, we appreciated washing machine. The communication with Maria was prompt and clear. Very good value for the money. Parking in front of the entrance. Suitable point to start your trips within western part of São Miguel.

The location was great for visiting all around the island. The bedroom was comfortable and the whole house was quiet and cool. The garden gets the sun in the morning if you want to sit outside for breakfast

Fabulous holiday home !

We spent a wonderful time at Maria's place and it was really like heaven for us. The house is very clean and comfortable. Ideal location to the western part of the island Sao Miguel. This place is highly recommended. Obrigada Maria. Daniele & Daniel
