( Includes a pull out twin bed and a high quality queen blow up mattress) This location offers all the beautiful amenities and charms that will make it easy to fall in love with the loveliest village on the plains. Experience the sights and sounds of downtown Auburn while relaxing on the top floor of an original downtown building. Walk anywhere while enjoying the added convenience of having your very own private parking spot right behind your lodgings. BRING YOUR PET! Pets are welcome, please know there is an $80 charge per pet, per reservation. Any pet other than a dog must be cleared with the host prior to arrival! ***NEW HIGH POWERED LIGHTING AROUND ENTIRE BUILDING*** The location is ideal- in downtown and a half block to Auburn's campus makes for a less than ten-minute walk to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The apartment was perfect for my weeklong stay! I worked remotely during the day and spent time with my daughter when she was available after classes. Since it was two bedrooms my daughter stayed with me. She could still walk to class. And, I had my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with me, Beau, and we walked twice a day around campus!! The Target is right next door, so easy groceries and Dunkin Coffee is also right by!!

We loved our stay! This apartment is in the absolute best location. We parked our car upon arrival and did not have to drive the entire few days of our visit. Close to campus, great restaurants, coffee shops and stores.
The apartment was clean and had a cute vibe!

Cannot beat the location and space. Overall would stay here again. Nice to have a kitchen. Listing mentioned smaller showers, which is true, however the water pressure and temperature was great. There are some minor repairs on appliances and paint but that did not dampen the stay and will surely be addressed with routine maintenance.

One thing to keep in mind, because this is such a central location downtown, you will get a lot of late night noise right outside. Guests in our party found it hard to go to sleep, but the VRBO hosts did provide sound machines to help block it out.

We were visiting our son at AU. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. Living area had great light from the many windows. The parking was convenient with easy access. The location was very convenient to everything we needed. There Target next door was very handy. There is a great green space (artificial turf) at the bottom of the steps for exercising pets and running around. Will definitely plan to return!

Yup, the title says it all. This is a nice charming old apartment located in a free standing brick building (1930ish) above a few retail stores. It's very clean and spacious. Since it is an older building and located right on the strip to AU's campus, noise from the entertainment strip and railroad is pretty prevalent. Knowing this may be an issue, both bedrooms came with white noise machines which were definitely used to drown out the fun festivities happening around us throughout the night. Unfortunately, there's no white noise machine that will help with the 5am-6am train horn that will be the rooster for the morning. But no worries, there's a wonderful beignet and coffee shop (Mo'Bay Beignet Co) just below to perk you up to start the day again. Outside of the uncontrollable environment, the apartment is a pleasant stay with providing all the amenities necessary for the visit. Also, the property manager was outstanding and prompt to my text with my additional requests.

Had a wonderful stay here! You can’t beat location! Right by campus and downstairs from so many great shops and restaurants. Was a little nervous about outside noise at night since we came on a rodeo weekend, however inside the bedrooms it was very quite! Beds were also comfortable too. Apartment had pretty much all amenities, and it was really nice to have a Target right across the way if we had forgot anything. Very clear directions for check in, would definitely come back and stay again! Thank you for hosting :)

We absolutely loved this unit. It was in the upstairs part of a really cute, old downtown building and had original wood and tile floors, which gave it so much character. The furnishings were a mix of modern and antiques. It was super cute! It was extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect! Super walkable - right in the heart of downtown and just several hundred feet to campus. The host was very easy to communicate with. We couldn't have had a better experience.

The property was clean and a great location. Just be aware being on the main street and grassy park next door comes a LOT of noise into all hours of the night. The property is old and quaint to include extremely small showers. But location is fantastic.

My family stayed here for a sorority event for my daughter and we couldn't have been happier with the location! The apartment had plenty of room for the three of us, and was nice and light and comfortable. One note though...the stairs leading up to the apartment are a little precarious, especially for my 76 year old mother in law. Other than that we loved the place and would rent here again.

Can’t say enough about this property. It is a beautiful, historic apartment right in the heart of downtown. Location was great, parking was easy. We would definitely stay here again! The host was extremely responsive - we had an issue before checkin that was resolved almost immediately. As for the noise mentioned in other reviews, it’s just that of a busy city street. The sound machines worked great. And for those wondering about the shower, the width was the length of my fingers to my elbow. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect for us! With a party of 6 adults, it was great to be able to walk to the game and back without needing an Uber or worrying about finding tailgating parking. The noise around the building wasn't a problem for those who slept in the bedrooms, and the sound machines the owner has installed were a tremendous help. I would give this listing 5 stars except for 2 things. 1) It is a stretch to say this property can accommodate 8, especially if you are traveling with 8 adults. The bathrooms are only accessible through the 2 bedrooms, so that's a bit awkward when someone sleeping in the family room needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also, the only way to accommodate 8 is to fully use the couch, air mattresses, and rollaway bed. That was fine for us because 2 of our group only stayed 1 night. But, it won't be a comfortable stay for 8 adults for any length of time. 2) The listing does indeed state that the showers are small. But, unless you've stayed in an historic property before, you will not be prepared for just how small the showers are. These aren't just walk-in showers, they are essentially shower closets that were built into the property probably when it was first built. Pictures of the showers on the listing would be more helpful for full disclosure. Now, with all that said, we would stay there again anytime! We loved being downtown with all the action, and we would know what to expect next time. All in all, we had a fantastic time and really do love what the owners have done with the property! War Eagle!
