Entzückendes kleines Hotel

Das Hotel liegt direkt im historischen Zentrum von Baden-Baden nur wenige 100 m vom Fluss Oos, den Museen und Parkanlagen, Restaurants und Cafés. Hotel und Zimmer sahen frisch renoviert aus und sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Vom Bahnhof fahren viele Busse bis zum Augustaplatz, von wo aus das Hotel in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist.

Wir waren zu einem Konzert .

Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht im Hotel Rose. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer, das Frühstück mit sehr viel Liebe gestaltet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es gab überhaupt nichts auszusetzen

A bit hefty pricing

It was really nice to have a fridge and basic cutlery/glasses.

The pillows were really bad (I guess that’s a personal thing though), it was also really warm in the room

Comfy and Cozy

Amazing position (close to Casino and Caracalla Spa) and comfortable room. The staff is very kind but speak only German.

The room we were given (room number 1) was at the ground floor close to the breakfast area hence a bit noisy. If you happen to reserve, I suggest to ask for the rooms at the first floor.

Good value for the price

The location was great, the room and Hotel were clean and the general appearance was boutique so as described.

The check in was online and we had to call 5 different numbers before we finally spoke to someone to get the key code so that was frustrating. The room had no aircon so was a little uncomfortable in the night.

Superb

The large room upstairs was very nice and had a kitchen nook. The smaller one downstairs was nice but on the smallish end. Cute little hotel.

Price a bit steep for a 3* hotel with very limited reception services (morning only?). We arrived around 6pm and had to get the keys in lockboxes. The long instructions about how to check in were emailed to us only in German (I speak it, but not everyone does). The tone was very functional and directive.

Suspicious hotel staff sneaking in the room

The room was nice and recently renovated. The location was good, very close to all the attractions and to the bus stop.

No or broken curtains in the bathroom with windows facing another house. No privacy. There was an incident with the hotel staff. We were not supposed to have cleaning (the hotel provides cleaning once in 5 days and we stayed two nights). We also had a no disturb sign on the door. Despite these two facts, we were disturbed by someone opening the door and sneaking in without even knocking. The hotel receptionist confirmed that there was no cleaning scheduled for our room. Yet she tried to provide different excuses for someone entering our room, e.g., ‘the person misunderstood the red no disturb sign and thought the cleaning was needed’ - but no cleaning was confirmed, right? Also, sneaking in without knocking and not knowing what a no disturb sign means? It was very suspicious and we did not feel safe afterwards.

Lovely little boutique hotel! The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable.

Our room was quite small but ok for a few nights’ stay if you don’t have a lot of luggage.
