the staff on site were not informed of the booking so no dinner although included in the price. They did their best with a good breakfast. Room was unprepared. The contact point did not reply to message nor answer the contact phone.

The hostel is a bit outside quilotoa but only a 7 min walk. They give you a lot of blankets and a heater which you need as it's cold! However, one of the best nights of sleep ever! The guy who worked there was really nice and very polite and made us simple but tasty meals!
The hostel is basic but all was good

It was close to the lagoon and they let us check out at 4PM so we could secure our luggage in our room
Very cold. Placed us in a room without hot water and we had to complain to move.
3.5
Room was alright, everything was clean and the shower had hot water. The staff was friendly and the included dinner was tasty. The provided electric heater was very much appreciated.
No light in the bathroom (you need to leave the door open to see anything)! No shower curtain, after taking a shower, the entire bathroom is wet. There is not really an atmosphere and not many guests seem to stay there - this goes for the entire town.
3.5
Staff were incredibly friendly. Perfect location for the Quilotoa lake, only a short walk away from main view point and starting location for the hike. Bus dropped us right next to the hostel. Dinner and break was filling.
3.5
-room was big
-nice staff
-it was not that clean
-too expensive in my opinion
-very loud

The location is a bit to walk to the crater but close to the busstop
The staff was friendly
The bed was comfortable
Food was plenty and quite good
We were told that breakfast would be served from seven and wanted to start early for our hike but then waited one hour in the cold room until breakfast was finally served at eight.
3.5
Location and value
No running water when I got to the room but was
taken care of by hotel staff when brought up to their attention
3.5
Friendly staff. Great location. Tasty food. Exceptional service.
Everything was good!
3.5
Friendly owners
Tasty traditional dinner
Comfortable beds
Warm shower
Quite cold at night (but some rooms have a fire place)
3.5
Close to Quilotoa

Nice clean comfortable double room
Very expensive for what you get - meals very basic and hostel further out of town than others (short walk but we were told you can get cheaper turning up on the door/bartering price rather than booking ahead)
Hostel also outside of toll booth for crater, so if you finish the loop here and plan to stay an extra night to explore the crater, you are then asked to pay to re-enter the ‘town’… which you wouldn’t have to if stopping more central. Strange system.
3.5
Location
Extremly cold room, lack of any facilities, like for example a mirror, poor and small breakfast, no coffee available abd seriously far too expensive for what I was getting - I would not complaint at all if the room would cist $5 a night as this is what it's worth
3.5
The rooms are big.
As we arrived there was no person around and they forgot about our reservation. We were feeling to anoy them, instead of feeling welcomed. The diningroom was freezing cold and they would not make a fire for us.
3.5
good location
It was freezing cold and we were only given a small heater which did nothing to help - food was basic and quite small portions

Good staff and room

Location
The place is cold. And that’s okay for mountains, but owners haven’t been doing anything to make the place at least a bit more comfortable. We’ve got a hitter for our room, which was not really powerful enough, so the room still was cold. The common area was dirty and also cold.Even tho it has a fireplace, but personnel didn’t do a fire.It feels like they just don’t care about their customers. The kitchen is dirty, fridge doesn’t work.Honestly,I would not suggest anyone to eat there. It’s better to pay extra 10$ and get a comfortable stay in the other place
3.5
Very fine for the price. We got a heater for the room and we didn’t really need that much other than a good bed and a hot shower - which was pretty much what we got!
It was very cold and the food they provided wasn’t the most exciting nor was there very much of it. But in general, very good value for the price.
3.5
Staff were nice and rooms were good
Got food poisoning from the dinner, the kitchen had very bad cleanliness
3.5
Close to the Quilotoa crater and was nice to have a roof over our head.
don’t expect much from this place, it’s the cheapest in town for a reason. super cold and dirty rooms. it felt as if our presence was bothering the hosts. not welcoming or kind. it also had the worst included food we had along the Quilotoa loop.
3.5
Very delicious dinner and breakfast included!
3.5
Great value and hot showers. Very close to the bus for Latacunga.the staff was not very interactive and seemed shy but accommodated our needs when we asked for things.
The rooms were not insulated very well and a couple next door was having a loud "romantic" evening. Even with earplugs it was hard to sleep.
3.5
It was very cold but there was a heater in the bedroom. Luckily the internet worked well because there's no phone signal up there.
The people were not very communicative. Breakfast was ok, but the dinning room was not very clean. There were 3 coach roaches in the bathroom.
3.5
Clean room
the host doesn’t speak english but the communication was ok
3.5
Nice staff, spacious rooms, good value for money.
Quite cold, despite the small electric heater in the room.
3.5
The room looked good, a lot of blankets, clean.
The heater in the room could get us warm, mainly because te room wasn't well isolated (gaps between window and walls etc). For most of the day, there was no water in the whole street. But that's not the hostels fault of course.
3.5
Additional heating available, since temperatures can fall below zero during night. Perfect breakfast and dinner. Super location at the beginning of Quilotoa village.
Wifi didn´t reach the room.
3.5
The location was good, breakfast was good, staff was friendly
There was NO heat! It was freezing cold. We wore every piece of clothing we had - shirts, coats, etc. but were still shivering.
3.5
Breakfast was good.
They had problems with accepting my payment but I think it was at both ends.
3.5
The Hostal is right in front of the Quilatoa bus stop. The staff are pleasant and accommodating.
