Peaceful Location in the idyllic Itria Valley in the heart of Puglia, 30 Minutes Drive to the coast: This is a wonderful place all year round which offers lots of things to do. Ideal for two or three families or a group of friends. The two houses are detached and completely self-sufficient, yet within close reach of one another. Large garden with lawn and 10 x 10 mt-pool with generous surrounding area and dining table. There is also a large dining table by the pool which is shared. Each house has its own outside dining area and barbecue. We are confident we can recommend this property to anyone, including families with small children (our own kids grew up here). The property is a tranquil, safe and child-friendly environment, the pool is protected by a fence. The garden has a great variety of fruit and olive trees, some hundreds of years old. The whole plot measures about one hectare. There are many attractions in the area: Lots of little towns with wonderful historical centres, Unesco heritage sites like Alberobello (just 15 minutes by car) and Matera, Lecce with its amazing baroque, lots of beaches on both coasts, countless typical restaurants for all budgets...Upon arrival you will find your complimentary Welcome Kit with useful information about the area, such as restaurants, places to see, things to do etc. We have spent so much time exploring this enchanting area and love sharing our findings and insight with our guests. It is our absolute priority to make out guests' vacation here a truly special one. The houses are self-catering and accepting our guests' privacy is paramount. But in case you would like our help with anything at all, we will be more than happy to assist. Whether it's tips for restaurants, horseback riding for all levels, discovering the countryside by bike, picking your favorite beach out of hundreds of miles of coastline, exploring the before mentioned amazing towns and villages, learning all about local wines, olive oil and other local specialties...we could go on and on...Fact is you are spoilt for choice here and one vacation won't be enough to take it all in, so we will be delighted to help make your vacation in Puglia truly special. The villa and the trullo were both fabulous. It accommodated our party of 9 very comfortably.
Ina and Sandro were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries we had.
The setting is amazing and we all fell in love with the three local towns of Martina Franca, Locorotondo and the stunning trullo town of Alberobello. We were also able to visit Lecce and Matera which were both stunning.
The coast was easy to reach too and the beaches are lovely. We didn’t need to do this much as the pool at the villa is large and we made full use of it.
We can highly recommend this villa to large groups of family or friends.

The villa and trullo were a perfect set up for our family. Ina, our host was always very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. She was kind enough to bring additional bedding and towels when requested. The villa was located not far from several charming towns, though the country roads in the area were more challenging to drive than we are used to. Unfortunately the weather wasn't ideal so we were not able to take advantage of the pool. I would recommend having boardgames available for larger groups (more than 2 people) for those rainy and quieter nights in. As well as update the kitchen cupboards/drawers with handles to make them easier to open/close.
Overall the stay was very comfortable, the villa lovely, enjoyable and recommended.

We had a lovely week in this trullo and casa, perfectly positioned to explore this beautiful part of Puglia.
The property is surrounded by a beautiful great natural space and a lovely safe swimming pool, perfect for small children. Breakfast under a vine by the pool was particularly lovely! Their recommendations for local sights and restaurants was spot on! We had lovely food.
I cannot thank Ina enough. It was super easy to communicate with her prior and during our stay,.nothing was a problem. We will definitely return!!

Great house and very nice hosts
The place is fantastic, the garden/park is huge, the two houses make it very flexible, and the swimming pool is bigger (although shallower) than on the pictures.
It is also conveniently located to visit all the great villages around.
The hosts are extremely nice, relaxed and very attentive. The internet connection was bad the first day, and the next day first thing in the morning a technician was there to fix it.
Definitely a great place to stay if you plant to visit this beautiful region.

A magical place to celebrate with family
We just had the great fortune to stay at the beautiful oasis of Trullo Fumarola with 12 of our extended family, who gathered there to celebrate a renewal of our wedding vows.
We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts, Ina and Sandro, were so helpful in the lead up to, and during, our stay. Ina helped arrange a special catered meal of delicious local, homemade dishes and a fun band to serenade us with traditional song and dance.
There was plenty of space at the property for 12 of us. It is beautifully laid out, fully equiped, and it was nice to have the pool there. We also enjoyed all the fresh fruit such as persimmons and pomogranates.
There are beautiful places to visit nearby including pictureque historic towns and lovely beaches.
We highly recommend this property. Ina and Sandro were very accomodating and fair in their dealings with us. Many thanks to you both.

Fabulous family get together in a magical setting
Gorgeous property in a beautiful part of Italy. Everything was provided that we needed to occupy our children and grandchildren. Our hosts Ina and Sandro were wonderful. This property is unique in its appearance and location- a holiday that will never be forgotten!

We spent our vacation in Trullo Fumarola in 4 families and, despite bad weather during 1st 3 days, we enjoyed it very much. The house and trullo are comfortable, big enough to easily host 8-10 people . They are also well equipped and swimming pool is bigger that similar ones in other rented houses. Location enabled us to frequently visit Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello (and Lecce and Matera) , so we were able to see majority of attractions without extensive trave. Hosts are friendly, respond fast to any request and share lots of practical tips about the region.
I highly recommend this location and hosts.

Wonderful house, lovely holiday.
The villa and Trullo were really wonderful - beautifully decorated and lovely gardens and pool. We had such a relaxing holiday. Ina and Alessandro were incredibly helpful. Always at the end of the phone, with any queries we had. They booked dinners for us and gave us great recommendations for local beaches and restaurants. Really lovely, thank you so much!!!

Perfect Puglia Escape
Stunning villa in the picturesque countryside of Puglia. Great for two families and great for kids. We swam in the fabulous pool multiple times each day. Ina and Sandro were wonderful hosts, arranging dinners at the property and local wine tasting for us. Very spacious for our group of eleven and a great location for day trips all around Puglia. Would highly recommend this property!

Fabulous place to stay en famille
We had a fabulous week staying here as two families with small children. Both properties are beautifully designed but also robust for small people. A great space to run around in the garden and the swings and slide a real bonus. Ina and Sandro couldn't have been more helpful in terms of directions, weather, activities, places to eat and coming over straight away when we briefly lost power during an electrical storm and were flexible with arrival and departure times. We could not have had a better stay in late October and would love to return during a different season.

Absolutely fantastic
We travelled as 2 families and the trullo and lamia were perfectly set-up to cater for us all. Everything was really well maintained and functional. The beds were confortable and the whole property was spotless. We loved the chill out lounge room in the lamia, which is where we would all start and finish our days. The master bathroom in the lamia was fabulous. I wish I could have one that beautiful at home. The pool was huge and the gardens well kept. We used both the outdoor eating areas on several occasions during our stay. Ina and Sandro could not have been more helpful. It was like having a consierge service on tap. Nothing was too much bother. They booked us restaurants and masseurs and gave us advice about doctors and hospitals when I got an ear infection. The surrounding countryside is very pretty, but you are only 30 minutes away from the coast. We have stayed in Puglia several times and this has been my favourite property. We can't wait to go back!

what a wonderful holiday we all had
What a wonderful holiday we all had - our party consisted of 4 couples and 3 children and the size, layout and facilities were just perfect - light and airy and so much space - the Trulli was magical.
The attention to detail was superb (many toys for the children) and our hosts Ina and Sandro could not have been more supportive and helpful.
All in all a perfect place for my husbands 70th birthday celebration and we cannot wait to return.

Most wonderful time
We had such a great time in this most wonderful location!!!! Both houses are beautifully furnished and well equipped and the garden has lots of little corners where one loves to sit down, relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the area. We were ten altogether and everybody - no matter what age - loved the site. Sandro and Ina were extremley helpful with all the questions we had concerning places to see, going out for dinner, horsebackriding a.s.o. They were always available and that made us feel very much cared for. The area is great and has many little towns nearby to discover. It was our first time in Puglia and we will come back for sure and then hopefully stay again with Ina and Sandro. Thank you so much! Nini

Wonderful relaxing villa
We stayed at the villa and trullo with my sister and her family. The set up worked really well as it meant both families had some privacy whilst being close. It was also perfect for the five children. They had a lot of fun in the huge pool, playing on the lawn and on the swings. The pool area is very safeyly gated which provided peace of mind as three of our five children couldn't swim. Ina had provided loads of toys which also kept them entertained.
Both houses are stylishly decorated and very comfortable. Everything worked well and if ever there was a small problem, Sandro came over very quickly to fix it.
Ina and Sandro were very welcoming and very helpful with their recommendations in terms of beaches, restaurants and towns to visit. We really enjoyed visiting Ostuni, Lecce and Locorotondo as well as beaches on both coasts.
We would definitely recommend the houses to friends, especially if they had children.

Lovely stay, great location.
The property is expansive and well-maintained. We comfortably lodged our group for a week, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen in the Trullo is well suited for a sit down dinner of eight. Locorotondo is a gem, and only a few KMs drive (or walk). The historical section of Martina Franca is also charming. We toured Matera - a must see and about an hour and 15 minutes from Villa Fumarola.

Perfect Villa for Our Family Holiday
Our family of 10, including two young children, enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing 10 day holiday at Trullo Fumarola. Ina & Sandro were welcoming and attentive hosts, easily contactable and happy to assist us with some business administration which had to be attended to during our stay. The very large pool, fruit orchard & outside dining facilities were favourite features and the location is great - quite secluded, but within easy driving distance of both Martina Franca & Locorotondo. Another highlight for us was a celebration dinner one evening, prepared and served by a local chef recommended by Ina. We found the property to be exactly as described & pictured on the website and the instructions for finding it were exceptionally detailed and clear. Thank you Ina & Sandro.

Ticks all the boxes and much, much, more!
We were three families totalling 11 people with kids ranging from 2 to 9.
We stayed for the last two weeks of July and we could easily have stayed longer.
It was fantastic, beautiful grounds, amazing swimming pool, gorgeous villa and trullo, it had everything and superb value as well.
We had more then enough space and everybody was extremely comfortable, especially the kids.
The location is fantastic as well, close to the beach, the caves, medieval villages and of course Matera.
Finally it's worth mentioning the hosts are always on hand to help with any queries or resolving problems, they understand perfectly well your needs and nothing is too much trouble for them.
I would recommend wholeheartedly!

Lovely Villa! Great location and fantastic pool
This is a beautiful property and a perfect place for a family gathering. Hiring both villa and trullo means lots of room for everyone and a comfortable stay. The pool and grounds are gorgeous and wonderful for small children. Both are beautifully finished and fully equipped. Ina and Sandro were incredibly helpful during our stay and always around if we needed help. I would highly recommend Villa Fumarola!

Spent Easter holidays in this amazing trullo, together with some friends. We were lucky enough to stay in both the trullo and the villa and wish we could have spent more time here. Great place, lots of space and comfort, clean and very well kept. Owners are nice and friendly and go out of their way to help you. Having a (rental) car around is recommendable, as it's not in a town centre. Would recommend everyone to stay here!

Villa and Trullo Fumarola were the perfect match for our two families -- They are beautiful in a simple way -- very chic with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is large and well furnished, with a covered area for dining al fresco or relaxing in the shade. Probably my favorite house we have rented!
This is the ideal place to come with small children-- everything is on one floor, the pool is safely fenced off and there is a small playground as well, which delighted our girls.
Ina is the perfect host-- always available to help and full of excellent recommendations.
It is the ideal set up for two families who know each other well and wish to holiday together -- a bit of privacy and plenty of space. The one note I would make is that the trullo only has one bedroom with a door-- the second bedroom is closed off of the entertainment space with a curtain only. This was not a problem for a child who sleeps well, but might not suit an adult couple due to lack of privacy.
I wouldn't hestitate to recommend the villa and trullo to others and will look forward to a return visit!
