Schöne ruhige Unterkunft mit guter Ausstattung

Sehr schön ruhig gelegen und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die bisher am besten ausgestattete Küche auf unserer Reise und wirklich viel Platz. Der Garten und die Veranda laden zum verweilen ein und das Bett war gut. Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen zum Piton de la Fournaise und die Umgebung.

Appartement très agréable, spacieux et bien décoré. Une belle terrasse avec accès au jardin dont nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter en raison d'une mauvaise météo (septembre). L'installation cosy des espaces intérieurs nous a permis de passer un très bon séjour.

Ferienhaus mit Charme, leider etwas überholungsbedürftig

Die Wohnung hat großes Potenzial, sehr charmant zu sein - die nette, geräumige Wohnküche, der Garten mit großer Terrasse... Alles ist bunt und zusammengewürfelt, was einen schönen, fast exotischen Charme versprüht. Die Sauna (Infrarot-Kabine) war herrlich nach der Vulkan-Besteigung. Man konnte sein Auto auf dem Grundstück direkt vor der Tür parken, und die "Schlüsselübergabe" per Schlüsselkasten mit Zahlencode war einfach und bequem.

Es ist leider alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und war auch nicht so ganz sauber (vor allem die Küchenutensilien) - dadurch wird leider einiges von dem Charme, den diese Unterkunft haben könnte, eingebüßt. Man muss die ganze Zeit eine Art Klimaanlage als Heizung laufen lassen - das scheint mir nicht sehr nachhaltig, und die Luft im Haus ist dadurch sehr trocken und zugig.

Nice house in a quiet location.

Spacious terrace with many places to sit and a nice garden. comfortable bed and nice decorations in the house. Good bathroom with shower. good and quick contact with the host. own parking place on the property.

Little space in the kitchen to prepare meals, quite old and damaged closets. It was cold during the rainy days as a/c needed ling time to start warming up.

great place to relax after a long day of volcano tours

good location, cosy atmosphere, nicely decorated, great garden, sympathetic, modern, bohemian

tidiness, kitchen (particularly fridge), shower a bit run down and wobbly, only one roll of toilet paper to start is a bit little for a family, trash cans outside too full and lots of empty bottles standing g around

Quirky, fun place to stay

A fun cottage with lots of quirky artwork and a nice garden. It all has an artsy/hippy, feel which we enjoyed. We didn't meet the owners - key is in a lockbox - but I'd hazard a guess that one or both are artists. The house is fully of little things that make you smile. The location is great - one of the closest places to the volcano national park, I think.

Compared to other lovely places we stayed in Réunion (5 different places), I felt it was a little bit overpriced at €118 per night. Then again, it's a quite big cottage that can sleep four; there were only two of us. Also, it was sunny every morning, but by around midday every day the whole area (Plaine de Cafres) became enveloped in mist/fog. The altitude is maybe 1400m (?) and we found it rather cold once the mist came one, I'd guess around 15C or below. We were only there for 3 nights, so we may just have hit some cold cloudy weather, or it may be a seasonal thing. Bring a layer of warm clothing and you'll be fine.
