• Our rental properties are family oriented. Good behavior is expected from our guests, respect for property rules and other guests. No parties allowed. Minimum age to rent is 21 and must be present during the entire stay.
• We kindly request that guests respect the Resort/HOA rules. Failure to comply with their house policies is grounds for eviction from the property and/or fines vary depending on these rules. Please contact us if you have any questions.

My family and I enjoyed our short stay within the condo. The sheets were a little musty and it was impossible to get a cart to carry our stuff out, but other than that I give it a 5/5!

This was a great option for the 3 adults and 2 kids (5 years old) for the last week before school started. There is good space for the number of people in our party and everything is pretty comfortable. Good proximity to the beach too. We will definitely remember this place when we're looking to visit South Padre again.

What a lovely place. It is so spacious and clean. We loved the pool and beach. There is so much to do and see all on the strip! We loved that it is so secure and family friendly. It would have been nice if they had laundry detergent for the washer.

We rented this property from Expedia. There was a surprise charge on top of our bill of $449. VRBO returned that money after I complained multiple times.
We never got wi-fi. There were multiple contacts and passwords throughout the place, but none actually worked. We asked in the lobby to be put in contact with someone and did receive a call (when we were at the beach), but no password, message or anything else. I tried to call back but the person didn't have a voice mailbox set up. I tried texting. No answer. So...don't expect contact once they have your money.
This condo needs some TLC. The bathroom door in the double room is literally hanging off it's hinges. We had to lift it to close it. My husband ripped open his thumb, as someone messed with the lock on that door and it's sharp. The pocket door to the bathroom off the living area is in bad shape. I have no idea what happened to either door. There is ONE SMALL frying pan in the kitchen, but TONS of saucepans. Hmm. Hard to cook breakfast. Blood found on both the king mattress pad and one of the pillows in that room. We didn't notice until check out when we were asked to strip the beds (in a $500 rental???) The balcony door does not lock. The fire extinguisher was new in July of 2019 but has not had service ever.
Tons of rules for the property, but no one enforces. Tweens in halls on motorized scooters trying to open doors. LOUD music (Hispanic) at the pool. Won't stay here again.

The condo was very spacious. We loved that each room had their own bathroom. The kitchen table was huge and fit all of us. The kitchen had everything but paper towels(we just went to the Dollar General to purchase a roll). I give the appearance of the condo 5 stars. The only problems was on the last night there was a party (or wedding) going to on the 2nd or 3rd floor on the outside patio facing the parking lot. The party continued until past 2pm. There was a DJ or band that was very loud. I wouldn't have cared except it was right under our bedroom where our son was trying to sleep. We just found it odd, because the condo was pretty strict with no noise after 10pm. But this party was allowed to be very loud. Other than that, our stay was great. Loved the 2 pools.

The view was great. Condo not that clean had a smell. Water pressure was horrible. Garbage disposal was broken. The guys who fixed it was great but it still had a very bad smell. TV controls frustrating. Staff were great! The unit needs updating.

Loved the luxurious condo. It was gorgeously decorated and we all were so grateful for three bathrooms! The only complaint I have was that there was a bad garbage smell when you entered the lobby and elevator that lingered. But overall, the property was very well maintained. The pools and lounge chairs were very nice. The best part was the lounge area that was directly in front of the beach! Fantastic location!!!

Nice Peaceful Stay
I was so impressed with the stay at this property. I drove from Houston to South Padre and I was nervous that I wasn't quite sure about the check in progress. That's the only negative I could give about this experience. That it's clearly communicated what the check in process is. You check in with security once you arrive. Outside of that, everything was perfect. The place was nice and clean, upon entering it felt very luxurious. My children loved the view from their room. The master has ample space with nice comfy beds. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to prepare meals. Bathrooms were well stocked with all necessary supplies, towels, and washcloths. The staff on the property was very nice and accommodating. The walk to the beach was amazing. I absolutely loved our stay, would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Retreat
This condo was beautiful and clean! The grounds are kept well. The condo has many of the things you need for day to day life. This was a last minute booking and they took great care of us. The maintenance crew does a great job keeping the lobby dry and clean from the beach goers. I highly recommend this for a family vacation! The beach was beautiful, the first day we didn't have much beach beach due to hurricane Beta the rest of the week was great!

Solare-Bahia Mar Resort
This is a lovely condo resort. My husband and I, 2 adult sons and their families stayed here July 5-10-2020. Each bedroom had its own bath, which was great! It was immaculately clean and well-appointed, with beautiful grounds, 2 pools with a concrete walkway to the private beach. My granddog got to come instead of being boarded as well. Our contact person once we arrived was very friendly and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

The condo was nicely furnished. It would be nice to have some better kitchen items. Some salt and pepper and basic condiments would be nice. There was nothing at all of that stuff. Also there was a leak in the laundry closet but the maintenance guy came right away to address it.

This property was absolutely amazing! The rooms are great!The access to the beach and 2 pools was awesome! Private beach was great. They also had security at the entrance making all feel a little safer! Only issues experienced was the constant smell of marijuana which I didn’t mind, but I was with several young kids. The cable to watch TV was a nightmare to get working! The rooms were a little dirty when we arrived, but fixed that problem ourselves. Great stay and will be staying again!
