About this house rental
House of the late 800s, recently renovated, located in the heart of the historic center of the country, about 100 meters from the Piazza del Popolo (main square) and 20 meters from the Parish Church. The house, equipped with air conditioning, is positioned on the hill behind the church and enjoys an enchanting panoramic view of the town and the gulf of Orosei. The structure is developed in 2 levels: the ground floor, the oldest part, with an area of about 70 square meters, which preserves the original architecture with various testimonies of life from other times, including an ancient brick oven and an oven fireplace that was used for cooking the typical "carasau" bread. The floors and walls were made with reference to the prestigious "cement tiles" and glazed terracotta tiles that make the environment elegant and pleasant. On the ground floor, in addition to the entrance hall and the bedroom, there is an additional bedroom and bathroom. On the upper floor, with the same surface, there is a large double bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen room all connected to the panoramic terrace. The beds are particularly comfortable, equipped with wooden slats and memory technology mattresses to ensure the best rest for guests

We had a lovely time in Orosei and enjoyed staying in the home. Extremely lovely hosts! The location was perfect and we loved the terrace (perfect for sunset drinks). Our only commentary would be that there is very little amenity (no soap, laundry powder etc, necessary for travellers) and the wifi did not work well.

Located in the centre of Orosei, this house offers a lot of space and therefore is ideal for a small family. The equipment of the kitchen and the two separate bathrooms is quite new and absolutely complete. We had lot of space to place our hiking and paddling equipment and enjoyed preparing our meals in the modern kitchen.
The highlight however is the big terrace with a beautiful view over the roofs of the city center and to the see. If the night would have been warmer in September, we would have spend there all night. Thanks Claudio and Pedra for that wonderful accomodation!

Schönes Haus in zentraler Lage
Das Haus von Piera und Claudio liegt absolut zentral. In wenigen Schritten ist die Piazza del Popolo zu erreichen. Zahlreiche Restaurants finden sich fußläufig. Zum Greifen nah findet sich auch der Glockenturm von San Giacomo. Das erste Läuten findet morgens um 7.00 h statt - man hört es, es stört aber nicht wirklich. Unser Sohn hat es regelmäßig überschlafen. Nachts wird nicht geläutet!
Das Haus selbst ist in sehr gutem Zustand und war bei unserer Anreise sehr gepflegt und absolut sauber. Im Erdgeschoß findet sich der Eingangsbereich. Hiervon geht ein Badezimmer ab sowie ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Betten. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Durchgangszimmer, durch das man ein weiteres Zimmer mit einem Bett erreicht. Geht man die Treppe hoch, erreicht man die Küche, die komplett ausgestattet ist. Links findet sich das Schlafzimmer mit einem angeschlossenen Badezimmer. Vom Schlafzimmer erreicht man einen Balkon, von der Küche eine Dachterrasse. Von beiden hat man einen tollen Blick über die Dächer des Ortes bis hin zum Meer und in die Berge. Die Schlafzimmer sind alle mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Beide Badezimmer verfügen über eine Dusche mit Duschkabine. Zuverlässig war warmes Wasser mit gutem Wasserdruck verfügbar. Die Schlafzimmer haben Fenster mit innenliegenden Fensterläden und sind mit Insektenschutz versehen.
Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern gelang problemlos. Da wir kein Italienisch sprechen nutzten wir den Google Übersetzer, was sowohl im Vorfeld wie auch vor Ort sehr gut funktionierte. Piera und Claudio waren vor Ort zuverlässig per Whatsapp erreichbar und halfen bei zwei kleineren Problemen (defekte Kaffeemaschine sowie Stromausfall wegen herausgesprungener Sicherung) in - tatsächlich - wenigen Minuten.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Haus von Piera und Claudio genossen und können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Great experience
Great Apartment. The location of the apartment is very convenient. 2 minutes from the main square in Orosei. The view from the terrace is great. You overlook all of Orosei, in the distance you can see the sea and also the mountains. The apartment is spacious and clean. Great kitchen. You find all kinds of gadgets. Also the bed is very good (which is not typical for holiday apartments) - good mattress. Teh owners are super friendly. I can only recommend this apartnemt

Bella casa, spaziosa e funzionale in ottima posizione
Abbiamo trascorso due settimane all'inizio di agosto 2020 in questa bella casa nel centro di Orosei, funzionale e arredata con gusto. Ci siamo trovati molto bene per questi motivi:
- la posizione è ideale perché ad un minuto a piedi dalla piazza centrale, ma con posto auto riservato sotto casa quindi nessun problema di parcheggio (alla sera soprattutto può essere un problema in centro). Anche i supermercati sono raggiungibili a piedi. La spiaggia più vicina è a circa 5 minuti di auto, ma da Orosei potete raggiungere tantissime altre spiagge bellissime della zona in poco tempo.
- pulizia: abbiamo trovato la casa molto pulita e abbiamo molto apprezzato l'attenzione che i proprietari hanno per le norme covid-19.
- spazi: le camere sono molto spaziose e con due bagni (entrambi con doccia) nessun problema anche in 5 persone. In quello al piano terra c'è la lavatrice, molto utile (avremmo apprezzato anche la lavastoviglie in cucina, ma, come già indicato nella descrizione della casa, questa non c'è). Il terrazzo davanti alla cucina è perfetto per la colazione e la cena all'aperto con vista sul paese ed il mare. Non a pranzo perché non c'è una tenda da sole.
Consigliamo sicuramente questa casa!

Schöne Wochen in Orosei
Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Orosei. Claudio hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Die Kommunikation lief über Google Translate, das lief ganz gut. Das Haus war super sauber. Claudia war bei Fragen immer schnell mit Info oder Hilfe für uns da. Einmal war das Gas aus, hier war Claudio sofort mit neuen Gas zu Stelle innerhalb von 15 Minuten .Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das einzige was uns gefehlt hat war ein Ort wie ein Wohnzimmer. Da wir eine kleine Tochter von 7 Monaten haben waren wir relativ viel im Haus vor allem Abends. Da wär ein gemütliches Sofa einfach super gewesen. Von der Terrasse hat man einen super schönen Blick über das Städtchen und zum Meer.

Im historischen Kern von Orosei
Eine sehr geschmackvoll und behutsam renovierte Wohnung im historischen Gebäude, liegt total zentral zum Zentrum. Für Familien mit größeren Kindern perfekt, weil Eltern und Kinder jeweils ihr eigenes Reich (Schlafzimmer + Bad) auf 2 Ebenen haben. gut ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt!

Excellent séjour à Orosei
Nous avons adoré les 7 jours passés à Orosei. Claudio et Piéra sont très accueillants. La maison est très jolie et bien arrangée. La chambre au 1er étage est très spacieuse. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la terrasse qui dispose d'une belle vue sur les toits et la mer au loin. Nous avons aimé l'animation du village le soir à 2 minutes à pieds. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs. C'est un endroit parfait pour découvrir la côte est.

Tolles Ferienhaus, sehr nette Vermieter
Wir waren im August 2019 für 2 Wochen im Ferienhaus von Claudio und Piera in Orosei. Alle Räume waren frisch renoviert, alle Einrichtungsgegenstände ganz neu und sauber. Es fehlte an nichts, sogar deutsches Fernsehen war vorhanden. Kochen und Waschen - alles problemlos. Die Vermieter haben wir als sehr freundlich, umgänglich und hilfsbereit erlebt. Auf dem Balkon haben wir gern gesessen. Durch die Insekten-Gitter vor den Fenstern der Schlafräume kam keine Mücke hindurch.
Das in der Ausschreibung angekündigte WLAN war allerdings - zur großen Enttäuschung unserer Kinder - für den praktischen Gebrauch untauglich.
Außerdem fehlte in der Ausschreibung der Hinweis darauf, dass 50 Meter vom Haus entfernt jeden Morgen und Abend Kirchen-Glocken lautstark bimmeln. Täglich erklangen längere Melodien des Glockenspiels. Wir haben uns gesagt: Das gehört nun mal zu Italien dazu. Ruhesuchende Urlauber begeistert es aber wenig.
Das Befahren der engen Gasse und das Einparken auf dem hauseigenen Parkplatz haben wir erstaunlicherweise ohne jeden Kratzer gemeistert.
Wir hatten trotz der kleinen Einschränkungen einen tollen Urlaub und haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir können es weiterempfehlen und geben 5 Sterne.

Riesige und großartige Wohnung in der Altstadt
Sehr herzlicher Empfang von Piera und Claudio. Alles wurde gut und ausführlich erklärt. Wohnung geht über 2 Geschosse. 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Bad im Erdgeschoss, 1 Schlafzimmer, Bad, Küche und Terrasse im Obergeschoss. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und blitzsauber. Tolle Küche mit toller Ausstattung. Großartige große Terrasse mit wunderbarem Blick aufs Meer und die Altstadt. Claudio war bei einem kleinen Stromproblem innerhalb von Minuten zur Stelle und hat uns geholfen. Zufahrt sehr eng, man sollte schon gut Autofahren können oder ein kleineres Auto haben (mit VW Passat gings noch). Sollten wir jemals wieder in Orosei sein würden wir nur bei Claudio und Piera buchen.

Maison de village très agréable
La maison situé en plein centre de la ville ancienne est très typique, aménagé avec un certain charme. Elle est également très fonctionnelle et nous a donné entièrement satisfaction. Nous avons passé un séjour super. Un grand merci à Claudio et Piera.

Großartig gelegen im Herzen von Orosei
Mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern ideal für 2 Paare um Orosei und die umliegende Gegend zu erkunden. Mit der solide eingerichteten Küche eignet sich die Unterkunft prima für Selbstversorger, wer sich lieber bekochen lassen möchte, findet viele Restaurants in fußläufiger Entfernung. Es gibt einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus, allerdings sollte man keine Angst vor schmalen Gassen haben. Ist schon ziemlich eng. Auf der großen, nach Süden ausgerichteten Terrasse genießt man einen herrlichen Blick über die Stadt bis zum Meer, am Abend gerne begleitet vom fröhlichen Gesang des überaus gut gelaunten Nachbarn. Obwohl wir doch ziemlich spät dran waren, haben uns die Gastgeber sehr, sehr herzlich empfangen. Wir würden wieder hin gehen.

Tolle Lage
Wir waren zu dritt zum Wandern dort. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tolle Terrasse, toller Blick. Zufahrtsstraße schon eng, wir hatten einen Nissan Juke, grösser bzw. breiter sollte ein Auto nicht sein. Supermarkt um die Ecke, 3-5 min. zu Fuss. Sehr nette Vermieter.

Über den Dächern von Orosei (08.09.-22.09.2018)
Wir waren zum ersten Mal auf Sardinien und wollten u.a. das sardische Leben in einer kleinen Stadt erleben. Pieras und Claudios liebevoll restauriertes altes Stadthaus, mitten in dem alten Kern von Orosei hat uns genau dies ermöglicht. Die Zimmer, die Bäder und die Küche sind modern und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Von hier aus konnten wir Streifzüge durch die engen Gassen Orosei unternehmen, in einer Bar das Treiben des Städtchens beobachten oder am Abend unter freiem Himmel das Essen in einem der Restaurants genießen. Der Strand, wohl einer der schönsten auf Sardinien, ist gerade mal 3-4 km entfernt. Orosei war für uns auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für spannende und erlebnisreiche Wanderungen in die östliche Bergwelt. Es waren tolle zwei Wochen. Vielen Dank Karen und Bernd

Superbe maison de village
Une maison très agréable, fonctionnelle et spacieuse, joliment aménagée, donnant sur les vieux toits d'Orosei. On se sent au cœur de la vie sarde aux ruelles étroites mais la terrasse offre une belle perspective sur la mer et les falaises du Golfe. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et confiants.

joliment décoré, avec gout, bénéficiant d'une agréable terrasse, dans un village sympathique, à 2 km de la plage. on a bien aimé le village à taille humaine, pas trop touristique, juste ce qu il faut, et sa plage.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Wir waren sehr überrascht von dieser Wohnug, direkt in der Altstadt. Zum Strand ca. 10min mit dem Auto, zu Fuß in die Stadt in 60 sec. Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt und hatte alles, was man für 10 Tage braucht.

Perfect location in the old town of Orosei
We had a wonderful stay in this appartement. The place is nice looking and clean, the furniture is new. The balcony has an awesome view. The apartment is in a perfect location in the old town of Orosei, close to the restaurants and bars. Piera and Claudio were very friendly hosts and gave us plenty of travel advice and options. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there and we hope to see them again :)

Wunderschöne Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt
Piera & Claudio waren unsere ersten Gastgeber von insgesamt vier auf unserer Rundreise durch Sardininen.
Sie empfingen uns sehr warm und freundlich und gaben uns das Gefühl willkommen zu sein.
Die Wohnung bzw. das Haus befindet sich in der Altstadt von Orosei. Somit sind einige Restaurants, Bars, Eisdielen und Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs fussläufig zu erreichen. Um an die Strände zu gelangen ist ein Auto notwendig (lässt sich insgesamt auf Sardinien übertragen).
Die Parkplatz Situation empfanden wir innerorts als schwierig, glücklicherweise gehört zum Haus ein PKW-Stellplatz. Wichtig zu wissen. Die Gassen in der Innenstadt im Allgemeinen und vor dem Haus im speziellen, sowie der Parkplatz sind äußerst eng. Ich empfehle entweder ein kleines Fahrzeug oder viel Übung im Umgang mit einem Größeren.
Kleine Randnotiz: wir haben es mit einem Q7 kratzerfrei da durch geschafft, ein noch größeres Auto wird es aber sicherlich nicht packen.
Zu der Wohnung:
Sie besteht aus einem geräumigen Eingang, zwei Schlafzimmern und einem kleinen Badezimmer mit Dusche und Waschmaschine im Erdgeschoss.
In der oberen Etage gibt es die Küche mit Balkon, wo man einen schönen Ausblick über Orosei hat und gemütlich frühstücken kann. Ebenfalls im ersten Stock ist das große Elternschlafzimmer mit eigenem Badezimmer, welches wir aber nicht zum Duschen nutzten, da es noch keine Duschwände gab.
Vom Schlafzimmer aus gibt es Zugang zu einem weiteren Balkon.
Zur Ausstattung:
Das Haus ist ein hübscher, ortstypischer Altbau, der von Piera & Claudio liebevoll saniert wurde. Die Einrichtung ist nicht überladen und stilvoll gewählt. Die Betten und Kissen waren sehr bequem. Die Bettwäsche, sowie Handtücher (gibt es gegen Gebühr) waren neu und von guter Qualität.
Ein Fernseher ist in der Küche vorhanden und sendet italienische Sender.
Die Küche ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und verfügt über eine Grundausstattung.
Im Kühlschrank empfing uns eine Flasche Saft, sowie eine Packung Kekse, was besonders unsere Kinder bei der morgendlichen Anreise freute.
Ebenfalls vorhanden sind: Bügelbrett und neues Bügeleisen, nagelneuer Fön, ein Staubsauger, sowie einige Putzutensilien, Wäscheständer & Waschmaschine.
Was wir ein bisschen vermisst haben, war:
W-LAN, Seife in den Badezimmern,
Geschirrspülmittel, Tücher zum Abtrocknen des Geschirrs & Mülltüten.
Da aber Supermärkte in der Nähe waren, ließ sich alles (bis aufs W-LAN natürlich) schnell besorgen.
