We had a great stay at this home in Tropic. It is walking distance to Tropic's stores and restaurants, a short drive to Bryce Canyon NP, and not far from Grand Staircase-Escalante NM. The house has obviously been lived in before, and had many homey touches like framed needlework and quilts. It was not decorated in a modern style, but reminded me of my grandmother's house, so I found it much more charming than a sterile, coordinated, interior decorator style!
We found everything we needed in the kitchen (spices, oil, condiments) and laundry room, and laundry dried faster on the clothesline than I think it would have in the dryer (and with less energy).
I think my favorite part of the house was the porch, with a breakfast table and comfortable swing, where you could wind down after the day's hikes and watch the sunset paint the mesas golden. We would totally stay here again!

Very comfortable for a family of four. Wood pellet stove kept everything cozy despite frigid temps outside. Fresh eggs and sparkling cider was a nice touch.

Lovely home to stay at, it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, loved the extra touches of fresh eggs when we arrived and having shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, so we didn’t have to bring them. We were able to walk to the restaurants and grocery store and very close to Bryce too!

We stayed at this adorable home while visiting Bryce. The home was clean and had everything you could think of. Annette was an amazing help and she really goes above and beyond. It was also nice to be close to a few local restaurants for dinner.

This is a great little house in Tropic, super conveniently located for Bryce, Red Canyon, Kodachrome Basin. There are some sheep and horse farms in the neighborhood, which we really enjoyed seeing. House was very clean, very well stocked, comfortable, quiet at night. Highly recommended!

The house is a 15 min drive to Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome basin parks which are both fantastic, but Zion and Capitol Reef also easy day trips. The house is very clean and comfortable, indoors and out, and walking distance to a store and restaurants was appreciated after long days of hiking.

Close to Bryce! We even were able to make the trip back to Bryce at night for stargazing! Town is small but cute. Grocery store available! Kitchen well stocked! Fresh eggs in fridge.

This was a wonderful base for visiting Bryce Canyon. The home was very comfortable, had everything you could need, and was well located. I absolutely would stay again and recommend it to others.

I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for a small family of 4. The bathroom and shower was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. You could tell that Leila made sure that the home is very clean. I loved the fresh farm eggs that she had in the refrigerator. Furthermore, she clearly explained the area in the information book, which was so helpful and appreciated. In a great location, right near great places to eat, gas station and store! This was also close to Bryce Canyon. For the price, I honestly think this is a bargain when compared to getting a hotel outside of Bryce Canyon. If I ever come back to hike again in Bryce Canyon, I would stay here again.

Charming home close to Bryce Canyon
This home is just down the road from Bryce Canyon NP in the town of Tropic. The responsive owners provided everything we needed for a truly home away from home experience. There were sheep, cows, horses, and the neighborly dog and cat that added to the wonderful ambience of country living.

This house was just adorable and in a perfect location. From the curb appeal down to the snacks on the counter and farm fresh eggs in the fridge. The home was well taken care of and would absolutely recommend or come back to stay if we’re ever in the area!

Perfect location & sweet home
This was the perfect location for us to explore Bryce Canyon and to use the Tropic Trail into the base of the canyon. We were the only people on the trail and the only ones at the trailhead! The home itself was cute and it was very thoughtful to include the fresh eggs in the 'fridge. It was spotless and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nice cozy home away from home
This was a nice homey little place. It had everything we needed - from extra blankets to all manner of condiments, pots and pans, TV, good heating/AC, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer /dryer - all in good working order with washing detergent provided. The farm fresh eggs in the fridge were an extra nice touch. It was quiet, had a nice view from the porch. Overall very satisfied. Would stay again

Perfect place with great touches
If every VRBO were like this, I would never stay in hotels! The house was very clean with a lot of nice little touches: fresh eggs in the fridge, coffee and necessities for use, laundry detergent, etc. It’s obvious they really care about the guests.
The best was their directions for leaving: please don’t worry about making the beds or doing the laundry, you’re on vacation!

Wonderful vacation home!
We loved every moment of our stay. The house is cozy and comfortable, and has everything we needed for cooking, relaxing, cleaning up post hiking. An extra bonus of the adorable neighbor dig and kittens visiting every time we were on the front porch.

The Golden Wall and Castle Bridge hike was one of our favorites during our stay. Major pluses at the rental were the farm fresh eggs and all of the little extras that are usually not available at a VRBO. Having a few staples around the kitchen was really helpful. They even had a few snacks and bottled water. The tap water is fine for filling water bottles for hiking. Annette was awesome with quick responses to our questions. She wants to make sure that your stay is perfect. Check in and out is very easy. We highly recommend this rental.

Best Little House
The house is amazing! 1 block away from downtown Tropic; all restaurants, coffee, grocery, and gas are in walking distance. Porch has a great view of the hills. House is equipped with everything you need from laundry to a full kitchen. Awesome place to relax.

Perfect Respite after Bryce

Just like Great Grandma's
The location is perfect; a short jaunt to Bryce. The price is right; equal or better than a hotel room for 4 with the perks of separate bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry, and living room. The feel and decor is cozy and reminiscent of a visit to Grandma's (or Great Grandma's depending on your age). That doesn't mean musty and old, but a clean farmhouse feel with retro linens and cozy quilts. We especially appreciated the farm fresh eggs. Thank you for a great stay!
