First off, we would definitely return.
Just a few items that we would suggest for the future.
The kitchen is nice, except there's really no counter space, also a couple of the outlets didn't work. We had to put the coffee maker on the floor to make coffee.
The Natural Gas grill was a disaster, looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I cleaned it the best that I could, and had to let it burn for an hour to get the smell and smoke to go away.
The rules are confusing, the rules on the wall in the kitchen tell you to put the bedding in the Laundry, the rules in each room tell you to put them at the end of the bed.
There were very few wash cloths, also, I get it that the towels are a convenience, but how are you supposed to have eight adults pack to leave, shower, then wash, dry, fold and put away the towels before check out at 10?

Oh, the memories that were made. This was our first all inclusive vacation as a family. We took our pontoon for fishing and boating fun. The children swam fished, played football and enjoyed the kayaks provided. The home was spacious and well equipped. On Saturday we divided into groups of Pokagon hikers (6 and 10 miles), swimmers, fishermen and children watchers. Campfire in the evening. We are still talking about the wonder of watching the children on the deck and out in the water. We LOVED it!!!

The property was excellent. The hostess was very responsive to our question pre arrival. We did have an issue with Wi-Fi. The owners did everything they could do to try to fix. Overall it is a great property and the house supplies excellent amenities.

We had a fantastic time! Would love to stay here again. Plenty of room for our family of 11. The game room/garage was great on the rainy days. Love the large dinning table. There was room for everyone to sit together. The dock was perfect and convenient for our pontoon. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

We chose this property for our son’s graduation weekend. It was beautifully located on Lake James within walking distance of Tom’s donuts and several restaurants and an easy drive to the University. The home itself was spacious, comfortable and perfect for a large family. We grilled, played games in the well furnished garage, and used the fire pit. We could not have asked for better accommodations!

We absolutely loved this place! This is our second year coming here and it is absolutely beautiful. There is plenty of space to spread out. We made so many memories playing games and all being able to eat at one table. We look forward to coming back again.

We stayed at this house for two nights. Our group considered of 8 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 children. The house was definitely large enough for everyone. Plenty of beds. I was able to negotiate an earlier check in which was nice. When we arrived there had been a larger snow accumulation and it was clear no cleaning lady or property manager had been there in many days as we had to shovel the entire extremely steep driveway, not exactly something we were prepared to do on vacation. The house has an impressive gameroom in the garage with a space heater but many of the activities need attention. The pool table leans and the hook game on the wall was severely off. There was a basement with a TV/game system but no way to turn it on/use it which was frustrating to the kids.
The house also has well water which is not necessarily a bad thing but I wish we would have brought a lot more drinking water. The fridge and shower in the master had many dirty spots. In summary, the house met our basic needs for a large group but we can't help but say we were expecting a little more in accommodations and less work cleaning up before we leave too (they request for their guests to do laundry).

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property and we’ve always had the best time! The two fridges are a lifesaver and the garage that is turned into a rec room is genius! Not a lot of lake properties have a level yard to play yard games and hang out so that was a big plus for us. The owners and property manager are always so kind and easy to communicate with which makes checking in and out a breeze! Our friends and family loved the place too and we will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for a great vacation weekend!

Perfect for large families!
This lake front home is spacious with fun amenities, such as a game room, small beach, kayaks, fire pit and large tree to relax under. Kitchen is fully stocked and had two fridges. Plenty of space in home to spread out. The only downside to TJ is home was the AC froze up a couple of times, making the upper bedrooms very toasty. Property manager never responded to our concern.

Beautiful house! Needs better management
House and location are beautiful. Had some problems (leftover garbage raccoons got into and mess from previous renters that property managers didn’t address.) A few non working items (including an oven fire!) made the visit a bit tricky. Overall, place is spacious and beautiful but a bit more care could be taken to ensure stay is more enjoyable. I communicated with manager the issues, but nothing was done to fix them during our stay. Also neighbors are crabby and rude about parking areas on street FYI.
The game room and spaciousness of house are great! Really is a nice area located on nice lot. Lake & kayaks are awesome.

Fantastic relaxing get away!
We rented this place for a family get away and it was such an awesome weekend. We absolutely loved the space, we had 6 kids ranging from 4-15 and they all loved it. We brought our canoe and kayaks and enjoyed the water, playing in the game room, and enjoyed just sitting on the deck.

Big Family Petzer's Vacation
The home and property were beautiful! Fully stocked with paper towel and toilet paper, kitchen utensils, more than enough towels and extra blankets/pillows. The game room was a bonus for the whole family. We loved that the kids had their own area to play and hang out. Very spacious for all 11 of us. We loved our stay and we look forward to another stay soon.

We had a great time with family from Illinois and Ohio. Large area for everyone to gather for dinner. Game room was a great space for kids to play and watch TV. Kitchen had all the supplies needed for a thanksgiving meal.

Family fun- three generations
This house was perfect for our multi- family gathering. The master bedroom on the main floor was perfect for our older parents. Even though we stayed in mid-November we were able to relax enjoying the view of the lake, and also bond over games of pool, ping pong, and fuse ball.

Another attraction was that the steps from the deck to the yard were the only ones to deal with when getting kids up and down to the water.The place was well supplied and the owners had plenty of extras like lots of camp chairs, towels and starter paper products. There’s also an extra refrigerator in the garage. While we were there, the owners dropped off another coffee maker, crock pot, and griddle…and a dozen donuts from Tom’s donuts for us!The street location was good and we walked to several restaurants although the road isn’t that conducive to pedestrians. We also rented a pontoon for three days from The Corner Landing and they were great to work with.I highly recommend this rental with plenty of space, lots of extras and great communication with the owners.

This house has something for everyone. We loved the deck overlooking the lake. The lower covered patio was nice during the heat of the day. The little ones loved the beach and the big kids had fun with the kayaks. We had great communication with the owners. Looking forward to renting this house again!!

Everything was fine, the place nice, etc. Just wish I could have had a phone number to talk to the property manager to get things done faster and know that things were taken care of. It took a few more hours to get things done, but it all worked out ok. If you are going to be in business, give out the phone number of the person who can make decisions and not just a junior staff person or computer automated bot.

Can't say enough great things about this property. Our family enjoyed the weekend and had everything we needed. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. The game room was an added bonus. We will definitely be going back again to stay!

Great weekend get-away
My children, their families and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful home for the weekend. It was close enough to Pokagon State Park to enjoy the toboggan run and a bit of hiking while have our meals and naps at the house. The grandkids enjoyed the game room immensely! I am very thankful that we were able to go and enjoy a weekend of togetherness in such a spacious home!
