The apartment is located in the center of the bay on the beach, near places of glasses and restaurants. Next to a gym and a supermarket.
It is spacious, bright and overlooking the beach. Everything is outside and each room has windows to the street. The ceilings are high. The familiar and attentive service. Thorough cleaning and immediate response. The decor is classic and functional. Low prices for fortnights or months. Ask for an estimate.

Neighborhood:
Beach neighborhood in La Herradura, is a strip of homes of low height arranged parallel to the sea. In front is the sea and its wonderful horseshoe-shaped bay. behind the high mountains of the Sierra de la Almijara. It is a quiet and safe place. No crime or fighting. It is a small town where everyone knows everyone.

Activities
To go to the gym you just have to walk out the door and across the street.
100 meters from the apartment you can rent all types of dinghies, kayaks or windsurfers.
At 500 meters there is a diving school where they rent kayaks and jet skis and boats 700, etc.
Within a radius of 500 meters there is great variety and quantity of bars, burguers, restaurants, pizzerias cocktail bars etc.
A 3 km are the wonderful unspoilt beaches of the cliffs of Maro - Cerro Gordo.
A 3 kilometers in the other direction is the marina of Marina del Este where sailboats are rented or you can buy a ticket to visit the bay and surrounding area with its cliffs.
A 19 kilometers you can make the climb Chillar river or visit the caves of Nerja.
A 100 kilometers Sierra Nevada.
If you have young children, facing the front door you have a summer school in doing activities and pass it great and 200 meters a playground where everyone gathers at night with their parents.
If your children are teenagers you can rest easy. It is a very safe place where nothing ever happens and they can stay up late.

Just as described, this apartment had everything I needed. It wasn't luxurious, but it is close to the center of La Herradura and has a lovely view of the coast. I was in the lower apartment, but still enjoyed a view of the water and the sunrise and sunset on the hills. And I could hear the waves in the night. Pablo responded immediately to any questions I had, and his mother-in-law, who lives in the building, was delightful and helpful. The weather was chillier than usual, but the beds were cozy with flannel sheets, and there was a heater in the main room. The three bedrooms made it easy to have friends join me for part of my stay. La Herradura is quieter than some of the other towns along the coast, but it was just right for me, and I'm already thinking about returning.

The property is a spacious traditional Spanish 1st floor apartment. Views of the sea and all day sunshine/sunset. Easy to book, with prompt responses from the owner Pablo.

We stayed in this apartment for 6 weeks and we enjoyed every minute of it. The location is perfect: right in front of the beach and the sea. The apartment also has a nice balcony with views of the sea. During our stay, we worked online and the internet was very good. We enjoyed our stay and we hope to come back sometime.

This apartment is almost on the beach, and in a family building. It is between two schools, but after the first night, we slept through the start of school. From the third floor, the view and sound of the waves is amazing. If you are very lucky, you may also hear the conservatory student practicing piano downstairs. The kitchen is well supplied if you know how to use the stove-top coffee makers and don’t need a large oven. The space is clean with plenty of seating. The WiFi had a few glitches a couple of days, but was mostly fine. The laundry is shared, but it was rare that both machines were unavailable. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

The property was just as advertised. Very clean and a perfect location just a minute walk and you are on the beach. The owner and Magdalena were both a pleasure to deal with.

We had a very good holiday apartment, with a unique beach location 3 weeks june 2019 Located direct by the Mediterranean in a peaceful beach area surrounded by several good restaurants. Restaurante Bueno had a fantastic fryed sardines with baking potato to recommend, wonderful 3 weeks on the beach in La Herradura, we are already looking forward to a next time, friendly service thanks to Pablo and Magdalena a wonderful time. Great location in a small, local town, a stones throw from the beach. Our young daughter also enjoyed the children's playground a 2 minute walk away. Clean and spacious apartment with all facilities necessary for self catering. We were welcomed and shown around the apartment by Magdalena, a very friendly lady, who also brought us delicious fruit on a few occasions. We had a lovely stay and hope to return some day.

Very clean property provided with almost everything you need on holiday. Missing were a hairdrier, a kettle and a few rugs to keep the feet warm from those cold marble floors during chilly evenings. The mattress on the main bedroom had seen better days we thought, a bit hard and lumpy. Magdalena downstairs is a delightful lady, smiling and always willing to help. 5 stars for her.

There was only 1 bathroom, although it said there were 2 in the description. I mentioned this to the owner, who apologised and said he would correct it in the description, however, no financial compensation was offered, as it was a big criteria for me.
