About this villa rental

This lovely modern villa is one of only eight in an exclusive development; it is set in a peaceful location with spectacular unending views overlooking the Psalidi mountains and olive groves. It is only a short drive to several of the wonderful beaches on the East side of the island.

The property consists of an open plan ground floor lounge area with a large comfortable sofa to relax on a dining table and chairs, a flat screen satelite TV, DVD player, ipod docking station and free wifi. The kitchen is equipped with a full range of modern applicances which includes a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker with oven and grill, a coffee machine and a microwave.

The ground floor also has an open fireplace and a downstairs toilet/shower room. A marble staircase leads to the first floor, which includes a family sized bathroom with bath and shower. The master bedroom contains a double bed, fitted wardrobes with a safe inside one of them. There is also a large balony with a table and chairs to enable you to relax and enjoy the stunning views - a perfect spot in the evenings to enjoy a drink and watch the sun go down. The second bedroom has twin beds and a balcony also with table and chairs, here you can enjoy your coffee in the mornings and watch the sunrise.

Each bedroom has fully fitted wardrobes. The villa has airconditioning units in each main room (this is charged extra).

The newly refurbished garden for 2024 features a private swimming pool with four comfortable sun loungers, sun umbrellas and a traditional stone BBQ area with a large granite dining table and chairs. The garden also features outside lighting, which gives allows you to enjoy an evening barbeque in style. We have made it even more private with an additional entrance gate and wall. Here you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the countryside into the olive groves and Psalidi mountains.

Our villa is constantly and lovingly updated to ensure that our guests have the most comfortable experience.

Safety: Although children are welcome to use the pool, as with all pools supervision is required at all times.

We accept no liability during your stay at the villa. Guests must provide their own holiday and travel insurance. Towels are provided for use in the villa only. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.

Location: The villa is located 2 km outside the traditional and friendly town of Kalythies. Full directions are provided upon confirmation of rental. The local beaches are only a few minutes drive away.

Our first time in Rhodes and this place is a treasure! We planned on doing so much but found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the Villa. It feels very secluded but the village of kalithies is a five minute drive away and has everything you need, chemists, bars, butchers,bakery and a couple of small supermarkets. Anthony Quinn bay, faliraki, and Rhodes town are all within a 15 to 20 minutes drive whilst lindos takes about 40 mins. Eating out is great ,Vasilikon grill house in kalithies is superb good food big portions great price. Also desert rose and manolis taverna in faliraki are excellent for an evening meal. But if you just want a BBQ there's a lovely butchers in Kalithies. The Villa itself is beautiful, very tastefully decorated which makes you feel really at home and the surrounding views are stunning. Steve and Julia are fantastic hosts , very accommodating, providing excellent advice and communications (even though there was a problem at my end, they still persevered )We really don't want to leave. Thanks both.

The villa is set 10mins from the centre of Faliraki so close enough to enjoy the facilities but also far enough to have peace and quiet. The villa was well equipped and has been well maintained. The advantage of having a private pool cannot be underestimated. Steve the owner was very helpful answering questions and Elaine the cleaning lady also a good source of information. It is advised it best to hire a car to explore the island we thought the best local beach was Tsampika as less crowded and had great facilities. If you have kids the Farms petting zoo is worth a visit. Overall the accomodation was of a high quality and I would recommend it.

What a stunning place, from the moment we arrived we were so impressed and happy with the choice to stay here. Perfect for our family, kids loved the pool and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Close enough to local shops etc but ideally set in the mountains. Stunning beaches nearby, i would highly recommend Stegna, so good we went twice and the cocktail bar there was a great find. We had a fantastic stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Steve our host was amazingly helpful and always stayed in touch. Overall a perfect holiday, i would highly recommend!

We had a fabulous holiday at the villa. Everything was just as described and we had a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The villa is located a short distance from Rhodes town but far enough away for it to be really peaceful. You do need to have transport (we hired a car) as you need to travel to get to shops etc. It was great having the pool to cool down in after we had been out for the day. The pool is cleaned regularly and the villa was spotless when we arrived. Communication with our host was great and he was really relaxed around arrival and departure times. A lovely experience all round.

This little villa is in a lovely location, looking out on the olive grove. We saw goats everyday and watched the sunset from the balcony and really enjoyed the pool. The location is great for driving to Rhodes Town, Lindos and local the shops near by. Rhodes is such a lovely island, many beautiful beaches and ancient sites to visit. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. As we arrived late at night it was lovely to have some basic food and supplies so we could have a snack and coffee in the morning. I would definitely recommend this villa, plenty of space for four. (The friendly local cats were a bonus!)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Villa. Location for us was perfect with great views of the surrounding mountains. Property is modern, clean, and has all amenities needed for a home from home comfortable stay. Communication with the Villa owners was excellent, and we would not hesitate returning there again.

The villa was perfect for our family. Lovely and clean with all the amenities needed, including air-conditioning downstairs and in both bedrooms. The pool and surrounding area were absolutely fantastic, the kids enjoying endless hours of fun in there throughout the day. The pool man came to clean the pool 4 times in our 11 day stay! The local area was very nice, and the people in the nearest town Kallithies were extremely friendly. We particularly enjoyed a couple of meals in Meze Meze Taverna, and the kebabs from Alonia takeaway were excellent and really cheap! The local butcher's are brilliant, so friendly and lovely local produce for BBQs, they even sent out for ice-creams for the kids while we were purchasing some meat! Other little towns and beaches are within a short 10 minute drive. Sergio's Italian in Afandou is excellent if you fancy a change from the lovely Greek food. Falaraki is only a 10-15 minute drive away as well if you want anything lively! Steve is extremely helpful and quick to respond if you have any questions. We would highly recommend staying and will definitely think about coming again.

We arrived late in pitch darkness & although I'd been on street view I missed the villa. If you reach the Afandou turning you've gone( about 1/2 mile) too far! On turning into the villa the pool looked magical, all lit up & with all the garden lights the house is really inviting. A gratefully received welcome pack was waiting for us including a birthday balloon! A nice touch, thank you. Waking the next morning we couldn't have been happier with the furnishings & finish of the villa. It has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need & there are a selection of games, dvd's(inc my fav film The Meaning Of Life!) & books. Outside there is ample space to lie in the sun & enjoy the garden with it's pretty butterfly attracting flowers, fruit trees & exotic pot plants. The aspect is pretty much south facing so ample opportunity to top up the tan & a great view of the night sky. The pool is very welcome for cooling off & is big enough to have fun in with the kids or a gentle swim first thing in the morning. The swifts & bats also enjoy a drink from it whether there is anyone in it or not! The surroundings are rural with olive groves & mountain views. The sound of cicadas & of the goats bells jangling in the distance whilst lounging in the sun enjoying a cold beer is hard to beat! A hire car is essential to make the most of your stay & with some beautiful beaches, Rhodes town & Lindos all within easy reach your never too far from any of the islands attractions. Finally, you couldn't ask for more kind, considerate & generous hosts in Steve & Julia. They really couldn't do more for their guests & that can make a real difference to how enjoyable & relaxing a holiday is. Thanks for everything & we would all love to return. Our hosts could not have been more helpful..... from the information given prior to traveling , to the reference pack at the villa on where to go, where to eat and information on the villa itself. A beautiful villa that lacked for nothing making us feel at home straight away. The pool was fabulous and plenty of area for subathing making it ideal for everyone. Air con' is a must in the hot summer months. Plenty of room inside for the children to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and set out. This is in a private area, being the end villa and easy parking for the car. It was a great base from which to access all the local beaches, bars, shops and tavernas, whether they be in Kalithies or further afield.

If you are looking for an "away from it all", relaxing holiday, this Villa is the perfect choice. The Villa itself is of a very high standard; The pool is just what you need to cool off after an hour or so in the sun and the BBQ cooks the meat very well ( Meat supplied by the friendly butchers in the village, included Lamb & pork chops; All cuts of steak, including excellent T-bone ; Lots of Chicken, Burgers and sausages - Sausages were always free!). Excellent views of the surrounding countryside and watched the sunset every night - Never managed to make it for the sunrise though! . We would recommend this Villa very highly indeed.

My family and i stayed at Psalidi view villa for a week's holiday in June where we had a fantastic time. The villa is very well equipped and it's home from home, spotlessly clean with a beautiful contemporary interior while the outside is very private, with an impressive swimming pool, has a lovely seating area with a BBQ, peaceful and a stunning location with views and a sunset to die for. Nearby is Kalaithea, a quaint local village where we spent many a night at the local tavernas. We shall definitely be back to this beautiful villa. Can honestly say it is the nicest villa we have stayed at. What a stunning place.

The house was better than what we expected: clean, bright, well equipped, nicely decorated, comfortable, beautiful bed linen and towels. The quiet location (beautiful surrounding) is so relaxing, we could hardly leave the garden and the pool. Because we arrived very late, the owners arranged a welcome package for us with everything we needed the first day. We felt like 'coming home'.

Prior to our departure we got very good advice about the villa, facilities and amenities. We absolutely loved the property. It has been designed and decorated as if it were someone's own, proud home. We felt utterly at ease there. The house was very clean - spotless even - and the local support, very good. The house was so impressively equipped - well beyond our expectations. Very easy to find and accessible to many different parts of Rhodes island. We went to Lazarus's taverna, just a short and interesting walk away. We loved his personality and food. Kalithea's Fish of Greece and the take away pizza place were all first class. Further afield we had a really splendid meal in Afantou's Katholiki. We visited old Kamiros and the archaeological ruins and of course Lindos and Rhodes town. All very charming and interesting places. Overall, we could not fault our stay and would happily return and would recommend it to anyone.

Thankyou so much Julia & Steve for a fantastic week at your Villa. It more than met our expectations! The house is extremely well equipped, with everything you need & more. The pool & surrounding gardens are beautiful & obviously well cared for, the solar lights in the olive trees at the end of the day are just the finishing touch. Lots of beautiful beaches & historic sights within easy reach. The villa is just a fabulous base to explore Rhodes. Thoroughly reccomended.

Julia and Steve lovingly maintain their property to the highest standard. The villa is set in lovely countryside yet the famous views of Rhodes are within easy reach. There are helpful guides - games - books, and a welcome basket. It is a great place to relax and/or explore a fascinating island. This was my second stay - hopefully, not the last!

Beautiful villa set among the olive groves with lovely views over Rhodes countryside. Good walks straight from the villa, and well placed to visit anywhere on the island. Rhodes has so much to see! The villa itself was beautifully clean, well equipped and very comfortable with everything you could need on hand. We made a last minute booking because our arrangements had fallen through and Steve and Julia couldn't have been more helpful. Great hosts - thank you - we hope to return.

This was our second visit , and we will be back again. The house again looked great with a few new things and the garden was lovely and the pool looked great and inviting lit up at night we all had great fun in there with the kids . we ate in several times , the house is really well equipped , and the meat from the local butcher in the village was amazing, so tasty and they speak English!! great walks locally and within 30 mins into the hills there are great views, we also walked into town for breakfast and some supplies! looking forward to another trip !

It was clean,well equiped, relaxing, spacious and the perfect spot to call home while we were on Rhodes.There was great information on places to eat (which were great), sites to visit around the island, hikes and other general info. A great relaxing holiday in the sun!

We had a great week here. The house was really modern, with a fantastic pool which was used on a regular basis. The photographs were accurate, in fact they do not give enough justice to the view from the pool. The air conditioning was a huge plus, as the temperatures reached the high thirties! It's in a really quiet spot, easy access to towns and villages in the area, only half an hour from Rhodes Town. Steve (The Owner), was fantastic, and very prompt at responding to any queries we had. First thing in the morning for coffee, and last thing at night for Retsina, the master bedroom balcony was fantastic to sit and enjoy the views! We highly recommend this house for a get away from it all holiday!
