good deal for the price paid, a bit far from the beach (about 40 min walk)

The owners were very friendly and helpful

the bathroom furniture was a bit used, there was some mold on the outer edges of the shower cabin

Just one night on the way to Sulina

A family house in a close neighborhood of small houses surrounded by a concrete jungle of Constanța.

Not the brightest room, sound of chickens in the morning, no english speakers.

VERY overpriced, NOT for a holiday trip, NO sun blocking curtains...couldn't to sleep...

* The room was clean * Airco worked well * Shower ok * Good internet

* A very dodgy payment situation...the moment I arrived he just came at me "You have to pay cash!"...I called my bank, they said they hadn't blocked any payments, so it's like they just really wanted to get paid in cash...??? Very dodgy... * NO Sun blocking curtains - so the room is all lit up at 6am and you can't get back to sleep. It's amazing how property owners forget about the obvious details like this. This is your holiday, you will want to sleep in and not be woken up by the sunlight. A 5 Euro curtain from the IKEA would make such a HUGE difference...but they often forget these things which lead to bad reviews. * The location is NOT for a holiday trip!!!!...it's a 40 minute walk to the bus/train station, a 40 minute walk to the nearest beach, and a 1+ hour walk to the Casino area (buses are not very practical, routes are very unclear). * The area is not nice at all, and walking back at night was not a pleasant experience. * The bed was pretty bad, you can feel the coils in your back when you sleep...didn't get a good sleep at all * NO English....communication was very energy consuming... If you are going to be serious about running a tourist hotel...learn at least the basics. It could have been that you did have a solution for some of the issues I've listed, but the thought of going into a one hour back and forth session with Google translate so I could explain what the problems were (which should have not been there in the first place) during my holiday was a no go. If you don't offer a practical way of communicating, guests will communicate via their reviews. I see there are a lot of positive reviews for this place, but I noticed there are quite a few people staying here that didn't seem to be tourists...they seemed more long term...workers?

the room was great. a/c great. nice patio attached to room. no complaints about bathroom. kitchen had what i needed. mini fridge in room. and truly, the owners were nice people. overall, it really was a nice stay. with the exception of my explanation below.

two different days, two men attempted to open my door. one did and i confronted him and he said he mistook my door for the door to the stairs (bullsh*t). i’ve attached a photo of the door to the stairs and the door to my room, i’m sure you all can guess which is which. unfortunate experience because the owners are nice, despite the lack of communication we could have. speaking of which, older couple who i believe owns the property do not speak English. which is fine. but they take the approach that louder and faster Romanian will solve the problem. they also refuse to use the google translate on your phone you offer to them. frustrating. but, since i cannot speak Romanian, it’s hard to complain too much that they cannot speak English. regardless, when attempting to explain how men are attempting to come into your room, it proves frustrating. i did not wish to leave any negative aspects to my review. but i was not happy with someone attempting to enter my room two days in a row. because it does not reflect on the owners, entirely..

Cash only have exact amount they don't give change

The place was nice.

No one speaks English. No one has a smart phone with a translator. When I went to pay for more nights in the morning, i thought we had a agreement. I was wrong! She said something over and over in Romania. She woke her grandson to tell me she rented the room out.

An amazing place to stay with even more amazing hosts!

Bunica Maria and her daughter were extremely hospitable and kind. They made us feel exactly like family. Maria was actually constantly available and at our disposal for help, questions, supplies, or even just a friendly conversation. This location was extremely central, and super close to the train station and the city center/coast boulevards. The property and room had everything we needed, and more! It was a lovely and unforgettable experience and place to stay in Constanța!

Nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect!

I would definitely come back for sure. I will choose this villa over hotels over and over. Quality-price is very high. Very clean and well perfumed, staff is all rounded when comes for extras. I think it is a good choice over a hotel because is so quiet, very clean , good price for this amazing quality, parking spaces are available. Many thanks for everything.
