This Vintage Beach House gives you the true New England beach experience, with Ocean Beach Park just steps away! The home is a single family, two story design. Our fully furnished 5 bedroom and 2 bathroom house allows 13 relatives to live comfortably and lavishly! SLEEPS 13 IN BEDS! Max 13 occupancy!

Beach passes ARE NOT included with booking; can be purchased at Ocean Beach Park admission booth(s). Public commercial olympic sized pool located at Ocean Beach Park (pool passes ARE NOT included w/ booking; can be purchased at park). Unfortunately dogs (pets) are not allowed inside Ocean Beach Park.

Ocean Beach Park is down the street from home, open Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is less than a 3 minute walk to your left once you step out the front door. Admission booth is located on boardwalk once passed through vehicle entrance gate. Search and visit Ocean Beach Park web page for 2025 Summer: direct pricing details, info, and events schedule.

Guests are able to utilize Alewife Cove for water activities such as kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards (all NOT included). Water access area 2 blocks away on Parkway Drive (Waterford, CT). Very short walk across the bridge (to the right) bringing you to water access area.

NO OPEN/ UNCONTROLLED FIRES OF ANY KIND (FIREWORKS, FIRE PIT, CHIMINEA, ETC) SET ON PROPERTY! YOU WILL BE FINED $750 FOR THIS VIOLATION AND IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THE RENTAL PROPERTY!

There are 5 CARS MAXIMUM allowed on this property rental. Guests will be able to park 2 vehicles in driveway. Guests can park 3 other vehicles on the street, next to the retaining wall adjacent to the house. Do not block fire hydrant; you will be ticketed. We will not be held responsible for any parking violations. There is a sign on lawn that states "NO PARKING: PERMIT REQUIRED". Please disregard sign as we are owners of the home and you are our guests. No parking permit required.

All Bookings: standard checkin 2pm and standard checkout 10am. Unfortunately, there are no extended checkins or checkouts. We do not have the ability to extend checkin or checkout times. Also, we do not accept trip alteration (dates) once booking is confirmed.

You will be notified through the message board, the day/morning of your stay (fifteen minutes prior to your selected check in time) with the keyless entry instructions and code.

We kindly ask that ALL communication is made through the VRBO/HomeAway message board; to only utilize the telephone contact in the event of a true emergency.

We DO NOT provide on site facility showing(s) and/or walk-through services prior to booking your stay.

We ARE NOT responsible for the receipt or procurement of any guest packages ordered/delivered to home before, during, or after their stay.

We are flexible with allowing pet(s) upon request, at $150 extra flat rate fee, per pet. This additional "pet fee" will be applied as an additional cost to the booking. This fee covers a separate cleaning service to remove pet hair/dander from the home and also utilization of specialized disinfectant & cleaning agents. We appreciate this advanced notification at time of booking, that you are bringing the pet(s) along on your trip. We understand that pets are just as much a part of the family as people. Although, we kindly ask that you please keep the pet(s) off of the furniture, couches, and beds. Also, please be courteous and properly dispose of any waste when they utilize the outdoor restroom. Any incurred pet damages to the home or its contents, will result in a damage claim to VRBO/HomeAway, that the guest will be held liable for. Maximum 2 pets. The pet fee is non-negotiable and non-refundable.

Please Note: DURING SEVERE INCLEMENT WEATHER, MANAGEMENT MAY NEED TO TIE DOWN AND/OR STORE AWAY OUTDOOR FURNITURE TO AVOID DAMAGE. All outdoor furniture also is removed/stored away each fall season (by 1st week of November) for winterization, then re-assembled for guest usage in spring/summer seasons (by 2nd week May).

We kindly request that the furniture and layout of the home IS NOT to be moved around or reconfigured. DO NOT alter any of the home electronics: TVs, wifi, cable boxes.

Please, DO NOT REMOVE the mattress protector covers from the beds when changing linens.

Garbage can located outside to right of back porch door. Garbage pickup is Friday morning. Guests responsible to ONLY bring garbage cans end of driveway curb each Thursday night (if applicable). Recyclables can stay in bin and will be picked up by management.

THE FIREPLACE IS NOT OPERABLE. DO NOT USE.

Alcoholic consumption is prohibited for any guest(s) under the age of 21.

A $150 fee will be incurred for any(each) lost/ broken TV, cable box, or ceiling fan remote controls.

There are 7 portable AC units strategically placed throughout the home. DO NOT MOVE THESE UNITS FROM ROOMS OR DETACH FROM WALL. A $750 fee will be incurred for any(each) damaged unit. Instructions for AC/ Dehumidifier usage are located in each bedroom nightstand and kitchen drawer. AC/ Dehumidifier units will be removed from the home each fall season (by 2nd week of October) and stored away, then re-installed in spring season (by Memorial Day Weekend in late May). PLEASE DO NOT SET AC UNITS LOWER THAN 70* - SYSTEMS WILL MALFUNCTION REQUIRING SERVICE.

There are 3 thermostats (zones) that control the heat in the home. First is located on the top floor in upstairs main bedroom; controls top floor heat. Second is on the main floor in kitchen/ living room hallway area; controls kitchen and living room heat. Third is located in the first floor bedroom to the left of the staircase; controls heat in this room only. You can adjust the temperature on these three thermostats to your liking. If you just turned the thermostat(s) on, it may take a few minutes for the steam to permeate through each base board and zone.

Please be advised, this rental property ONLY CONTAINS items specifically notated on the listing page. If you are requesting the provision of an outdoor bbq grill, umbrellas, beach chairs, specific cocktail glasses, serving plates and cooking/baking items, cooking/baking spices or condiments, folding chairs, air mattresses, etc, or any other non-standard item(s) that are not listed, please plan ahead and bring your own. The items that are provided at the home are already above and beyond the standard rental accommodations, so please plan accordingly. You are always welcome to bring any additional items of your liking with you during your stay.

The property was great! Very clean, rooms were a nice size and the perfect location. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach which was great.we spent most of our time in Mystic which was only a 20 minute drive away.

One last beach hurrah before school and this home was great! Was a short walk from the house to Ocean Beach Park and we lucked out with great weather. Kitchen was well stocked to cook a family dinner. Plan to come back next year!

The property met our location needs but wasn't very clean. I wiped off counters and dining room table and the were quite dirty. Floors were also not very clean. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch having coffee. Kitchen towels and dish cloths should be provided. The sponge left in the kitchen was smelly.

Perfect spot!
Perfect spot!
We came up for a few days to get a feel for the area, check out the US Coast Guard Academy campus with our son, and get some beach time in. We loved being super close to Ocean Beach Park and just hanging out on the porch of the house. We really enjoyed the house while we were there.
