Great location, stairs were challenging not for anyone with mobility issues.,lovely hosts

Our room was on the top floor of a 17 th century building . It had plenty of character but of course not the comfort level of a modern apartment . It was very cosy but had a terrace outside which was lovely . There are a lot of stairs 73 from entrance so pack light as their is no lift . We had a very late arrival but our host met us and helped us with our heavy bags , up the many steps He was very helpful with his suggestions and couldn’t have been more friendly . Great location so we chose not to self cater so can’t comment on the cooking facilities.except to say the kitchen was very compact as was the bathroom . The bed was super comfy and all very clean .We enjoyed our stay and got a good workout .

The washing machine did not work . I thought I was doing something wrong but even after our host set it the clothes were not washed properly and the clothes were dripping wet . I didn’t get a chance to mention this to our hosts . I’m sure they will fix this

Atmospheric, historic and full of character

Beautiful building and fantastic location. Well equipped with a very comfortable bed and good kitchen equipment. Amazing to stay in such an historic part of the city.

Air conditioning would have been very much appreciated although the fans did help. It is also quite small so can feel a little close quarters when two people are staying there

A wonderful stay and would return to it in a future visit!

The location within the centre of Toulouse meant easy access to much sightseeing. Its historical background linked to the City of Toulouse made it a very special place to call home during our visit.

Nothing …we had the studio which is small but we were aware of its size prior to the visit. Heads up that it is on the top floor and does get warm. The owners provided to fans that helped make us feel comfortable.

A stylish, if compact, space in the heart of the city

Beautiful building, very centrally located to shops, restaurants, museums. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Lots of guest information provided.

No shower door and hard to keep the floor dry. Very hot at night with no air conditioning and noisy with fans working.

This uniquely beautiful rooftop terrace had a sense of the Rapunzel story about it - and was perfectly situated for all

Beautiful, quirky, romantic location… lovely decor in line with unique, cultural vibe.

Nothing - it was all good! It’s worth mentioning the the 70spiral steps to the room - we loved them, as they add to the character of the place, but might be a few steps too far for less fit people!

A lovely place to stay as a base to explore Toulouse.

We loved the quirkiness of the property, its location, the quiet and the way it was set up. Staying somewhere so historic and so beautiful was great. Antoine was very helpful.

Fantastic flat at tup of a tower, would rent it again without hesitation if I go to Toulouse.

Really nice flat at the top floor. No elevator, but I only had hand-luggage, so no problem. Apartment was super-clean, and the shower much better than I even have at home. Lots of plates, cutlery, glasses, pans and everything you could possibly need. Very quiet, couldn't hear anything from the flats below. Nice and large terrace, although I didn't use it due to pretty coldish weather. Probably perfect during spring, summer and early autumn.

The bed was ok, but it's not a real bed, but a foldable sofa-bed. So the mattress has some minor "bumps" and also is not 100% level. I still slept without any problems, but if you are two persons it might be harder to find the "best place" on the mattress.

Exceptional

The building was very old and full of character in a very central part of town. Despite the central location it was very quiet. There were plenty of excellent bars and places to eat. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The apartment was well equipped and plenty of style.

Our room was in the attic and was very compact. There are two flights of stairs to climb but all worth it, to stay in such an old and interesting building. It felt a bit like an artist's garret….home from home after visiting the Van Gaugh experience in the turbine building next to the weir on the river.

Perfect location and cute apartment with a fabulous balcony. Perfect place to stay.

We loved the terrace with the view of the rooftops and that we were walking distance to everywhere. Antoine was a very helpful host.

It was a workout to climb the stairs but well worth the effort.

Okay if you're into weird AirBNB-like apartments

The location is excellent. The building itself is ... interesting. And the WiFi worked flawlessly.

It's like renting someone's AirBNB apartment. I had to walk multiple stairs up and down each day. The bed is not hotel-quality (and is in the middle of the room). The airco is in the toilet, not in the room, and thus useless. There are several electric fans for cooling that make a lot of noise. (I kept them turned off.) And there is a direct line of sight from other apartment windows into the toilet and the shower unless you close the window hatch.

Exceptional

Cute little apartment in an excellent location for walking or public transportation access. It was *exactly* what I was looking for, and met or exceeded expectations on all fronts. The building itself is lovely, and the long history of the place is palpable.

There was nothing about this place to not like. However, it was quite hot when I was there, and like most places in Europe in general, and Toulouse in particular, there is no AC; several fans were already provided and they did what they could.

We had a great time in Toulouse and really enjoyed this apartment.

The location was fantastic for the centre of Toulouse. There was an excellent patisserie about 50m away and lots of restaurants and bars not far away. You have to climb 70 steps up the tower to reach the apartment but it has a large private terrace and great views over the rooftops of Toulouse as a result. The apartment is very well-equipped and full of character.

Overall good value, but room for improvement

The studio was well equipped, comfortable bed

The shower cubicle was super small and leaked into the bathroom. Also, there was minimal supplies provided e.g. less than one toilet roll for a five night stay, no shower gel or washing up liquid provided

Perfect stay

We had a lovely stay at La Tour Croix Baragnon, the building itself is beautiful and a piece of history. This was an experience in itself. The climb up the stairs to the 3rd floor was worth it to reach the lovely, cosy appartment. This contained all the facilities we needed for a relaxed stay. With 2 generous bedrooms and a comfy sofa bed there was plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen and bathroom were also spacious, and suited to our needs. The appartment was spotlessly clean and warm. It made our trip to Toulouse to visit family, a fantastic one! The location was also perfect, situated in a lovely spot, very central to Toulouse. If we were to visit Toulouse again, we would definitely stay here.

Lovely property in the heart of Toulouse. We will go back. So quiet and well equipped. It can not be faulted. The hosts were fantastic and gave us such good advice and a warm welcome. Thank you! We loved Toulouse - probably one of the best City's in France.

Beautiful place in the center of the city

Absolutely beautiful rooms on the top floor of a 16th century (?) building in central Toulouse. Couldn't ask for a better location in the city, and the apartment achieved an excellent balance between respecting the history of the building and providing all modern comforts. The staff were responsive and helpful, and I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again. We were a group of five people spread across two of the apartments, and everyone was delighted with the accommodation.

Great location. Nice welcone. Lovely old appartment. V historic. Kitchen had all you need inc kettle, china, cups, crockery etc. Well equipped. Washing machine available which did not say on booking.com

Nice appartment in great location. Felt a little claustrophobic at times for family of 4. Would not recommend if travelling with elderly as no lift/long stairs. Small extras like a whole roll of toilet roll (half provided)/kitchen roll and new kitchen cloth (covid) would have neen nice. We were only staying 3 days and so would be nice not to have to mundane shop. Also booking.com said 12am checkout while man who checked us in said 11am.
