We were met outside by Jacques and he helped us carry our luggage up the stairs. Both Jacques and Nicole greeted us and showed us around the apartment. They were helpful with dinner recommendations and left us a nice bottle of wine! We had a wonderful time in this beautiful place and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Nicole's property during the Rugby World Cup, took in 4 matches at the stadium and travelled around the Aquitaine area visiting several towns and cities by train. The apartment is very well situated within the Chartrons area of Bordeaux and was quiet. There are several bars/bistros etc within a very short walk though too. The tram stops right outside the door so is very handy and we used this a lot during our visit - it connects (via a change) to the railway station (and I think it also goes out to the airport too). The apartment was well-appointed and very comfortable. Nicole's communication were fantastic all the way through the process and both she and her husband were on hand to meet us on check in. We really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was as lovely as the pictures depicted. The furnishings were exceptionally elegant, but also totally functional. The location on the tram line and across from the river walk were perfect and convenient. The hosts, Nicole and Jacques were very welcoming and thorough in their review of all amenities. We were very glad to have met them.

My wife and I stayed at this property for four nights. The host was great and very responsive. The apartment was very comfortable and convenient to major attractions. The allow challenge is that the apartment is on the second floor and you have to take 47 steps to get to apartment and there is no lift. If you are capable of taking stairs this is an excellent property.

This property was even better than expected. It is in a fabulous location: near a tram stop, near the river, near the outlet stores, near the city - but not too close. We were met by our hosts who showed us through the apartment, pointing out the various things it offers. I really like to meet hosts rather than just be given a key. It puts the place into context. The apartment itself is well designed, elegant and has every possible home comfort. The Sunday food market is virtually across the road and it is great to shop then come home for lunch. It is in an historic building and the entrance behind an ordinary set of wooden doors , opens to an amazing long, stone floored corridor, secured by fabulous gates and a delightful courtyard. The apartment then is up a beautiful wide stone stairway which is a joy to climb. We hope to return to this beautiful, well appointed apartment.

Nicole's appartment was just what we wanted. It was very nicely furnished and felt like a real home. Lots of space to spread ourselves, set in a vibrant part of Bordeaux but, because it is at the back of the building, very quiet. The tramline just outside allowed us to travel into town easily. The carpark nearby was easy to use. And Bordeaux is a great place to stay. And Nicole's appartment was a great extra bonus.
