Our family rented this house this past wk & enjoyed it very much!! The lake (beach) area was awesome and NO SHELLS on lake floor to hurt your feet while in the water! That was a huge plus for us!!! Loved the location & having our own boat ramp was also a plus! We hope to rent this house again next yr!

We had a great time at the lake. We stayed a week. Plenty of rooms for us. Bath towels were provided. All appliances worked. The only complaint I have is there wasn’t enough or any pantry space for all our lake snacks for the kids!!! The dock had been recently redone and was in excellent shape. Loved the beach area for hanging out when not on the boat. Thanks again for a great time!!

Got to the house and when entering was surprised by the open concept and how big a space we had. Kitchen was wide open and very functional (lots of pots and pans and utensils) two frdges wa a big plus! Everything was very clean and well equiped with plenty blankets, sheets and towels. The back porch was great (I would recommend bringing lawn chairs. What they have lean back a little too much for conversations. Loved the firepit! The best thing about the place in my opinion though is the veiw and the dock. Great dock with fish cleaning station and electricity to charge batteries on boat! Lots of lights keep it well lit and user-friendly any time day or night. Short boat trip (less than 2 min) to open area which is great to see incredible sunsets! We will be going back next year for sure!

Great house for a guy’s fishing weekend

David was the perfect, responsive host during our trip planning. We had no issues once we arrived at the property. This property had plenty of room for part of our large family. (We also rented the sister property). The two refrigerators in the kitchen meant there was plenty of room for all the food we brought. The two separate dining tables and the openness of the kitchen and living area meant that we weren't' tripping over each other. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with pots, pans, colanders, waffle maker and more as well as utensils and spices (not just salt and pepper). There was nothing we needed that was not available and we prepared all of our meals at the house. Everything was clean. Even though it was cold outside - we had no issues keeping warm inside! I'm sure it would be even better in the summer because the dock, boat ramp, and beach area were perfect for family fun in the water! The porch, dock, and chairs at the beach were perfect for sitting and enjoying the sunsets. Beautiful!!

Went on a fishing trip weekend with my son and some family friends. Had a good time, but the fish didn't cooperate. The house was perfect for our plans. Well equipped and plenty of room. Owner was very helpful and available to answer our questions

Our family always goes out of town to different properties around the start of the new year. This property was our latest stay and one of our favorites. The property was very clean and had plenty of room for our group of 10. My father has trouble walking and the fact that this property was so flat leading to the dock allowed him to be able to enjoy being on the dock with everyone. The only complaint was that the water level was extremely low around the dock. This is because of the time of year and was no fault of the owners. We were still able to catch a few fish at night: The two refrigerators are a great idea for larger groups and the openness of the house makes it perfect for families.

A nice rental.

The property was even better than we expected! We spent Christmas week with family and had absolutely everything we needed. The temps outside were below 20 which is unheard of in SC and we had no issues with the house being warm! David was very responsive to messages, which I really appreciated! You will not be disappointed!

The property was as listed - Plenty large enough for my family of 7 adults and 2 kids. Bedrooms, Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room area and 3 full baths - superb!! The lakefront was perfect for the little ones to play in the sand and look for shells. We brought two kayaks with us and took turns going out on Lake Marion which was great! We also went to Santee State Park twice as there are hiking trails (for all) and a playground for the little ones. If I had to say one thing would have made it better (for us, specifically) it would be to have small boats available for use. (kayaks, canoes with paddles, life jackets). But as I say, the property was exactly as advertised and a relaxing get-away for the family. Thank you!!

Communication with owner was great. Super fast to reply. Detailed instructions about everything. The home has an absolutely beautiful view of the water. Equipped with everything we could possibly need. The only negative comment would be that the coffee maker is a drip coffee and k-cup combo and between the nine of us, we could not figure it out. Other than that, it was perfect. The rooms are very spacious. Will definitely book again.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased with this property. The house was everything we imagined and then some. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of linens on hand and the sandy beach was lovely! The location was ideal and the house was very clean. Our only regret was our 4 children, their significant others and our granddaughters were not there but after seeing all of the bedrooms, the 2 kitchen tables and the very large living room there is no doubt all 12 of us could fit very comfortably!! We will definitely be back again with our whole family!

The property was perfect for our family vacation - large, well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The location is prime with a very nice, private beach. We will definitely keep it in our favorites!

Super big house with plenty of room for everyone! Porch is bigger than it looks in photos and dock is great. Huge fenced yard for the dogs to run around. The dock lights and lit palm trees are beautiful at night and we had some gorgeous sunsets.

If you are looking for a lake vacation look no further. The house is bigger than it looks, we had plenty of room for sleeping and visiting. My favorite part was the beach area and water. The water is nice and sandy. It doesn't have all the grass and slime you usually expect. The adults and kids in enjoyed it. My 10 year old granddaughter out fished us all. We were sad to see it come to a end. We will most definitely be back next year if its available.

Our family enjoys an annual trip to the lake, and this location was great. The house was exactly as it is in pictures, well stocked with cooking pans/pots, plenty of refrigerator space and plenty of room for everyone. The host is very responsive. Great location and accommodations for large groups of people.

We were there to fish and the host was gracious enough to allow our boat at their dock. The boat launch was right next to the dock. The house was only an hour and a half from Charleston so we made a trip there one day. I can't say enough. We hope to return soon.
