Beste Lage für autofreies Reisen

Kein übertriebener Luxus, aber alles da was gebraucht wird.

Das Bad ist hell mit großem Spiegel, aber genau hier fehlt eine „Gesichtsbeleuchtung“, also Licht von vorne.

Frühstücksbuffett war ein wenig dürftig. Käse und Wurst dazu 2 Sorten Brötchen und 2 Sorten Brot, für mich nicht ganz perfekt

Lage top. Haus verbesserungswürdig.

Neues Haus, gute Betten. Nähe Bahnhof, gute Lage zur Altstadt, freundliches Personal.

Keine Klimaanlage vorhanden, deshalb schrecklich heiß und muffig im Zimmer. Wenn man abends das Fenster aufgemacht hat, kam ein Schwall Essensgeruch(Dönerbude etc) ins Zimmer.... Den Innenhof könnte man schöner gestalten etwas kahl und nicht gemütlich. Die Außenstühle sind schlecht, zu tief. Beim Frühstück waren oft die Teller leer, dies gilt auch für Brot, Birchermüsli und Obst.

Lubeck is a marvellous city to visit and the Niu Rig made our visit very easy and comfortable

Staff were very helpful when we asked to move to a quieter room Convenient for the Holtenstor and Old Town Stylish decor Offer of a free drink each if we said we didn't need out room cleaned one night

Breakfast room was a bit cramped at busy times. Front rooms face the station, so are quite noisy if you need the windows open

Letztes Mal besser gewesen

Top Lage! Altstadt ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer sind sauber und modern. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Der Bahnhof vor der Tür ist bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht hörbar gewesen. Toll

Das Bad in unserem Zimmer war viel zu klein. (Waschbecken viel zu groß für das kleine Bad) Dieses Mal wurden wir im Nebengebäude untergebracht, vor 2 Jahren waren wir im Haupthaus, wo unser Zimmer Top war. Preis vom Frühstück (16,50€ pro Tag pro Person) finde ich etwas hoch angesetzt. 7,0 Bewertung, weil beim letzten Mal wirklich alles super war.

Alles sehr sauber und neuwertig. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Überhaupt Personal sehr freundlich. 23/7 alles erreichbar von Rezeption bis Bar.

Das Zimmer war schon sehr klein. Aber durchaus machbar für den kurzen Aufenthalt. Der Preis mit 199 Euro für 1 Nacht inkl. Frühstück im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels noch ok. Aufgrund der Zimmergröße vl. Etwas zu hoch.

Sehr gutes Hotel

Ich bin schon öfter im Niu Rig in Lübeck gewesen und war fast immer sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist perfekt - raus aus dem Bahnhof rein ins Hotel. Außerdem kann man zu Fuß in 10 min in der Innenstadt sein und hat alle Busse vor der Tür. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Nice hotel, would stay again

Nice decor/design, it all felt clean and modern. The breakfast was brilliant - great and varied options in the buffet. Beds very comfy! Hotel is in a good location literally right in front of the main train station and bus station, and it's about 15-20 minute walk into the old town of Lübeck. Hotel staff were very friendly and spoke both English and German. We asked for a late check out and it was €15 for 2 extra hours.

Nothing major. The bedroom was a bit small - we had a standard double room and it was hard to open the bathroom door because it was so close to the wardrobe rail.

We booked a room for three persoons, but is was in fact a Room size for two persons with a sleeping bench as a third bed. The sleeping bed was very hard en uncomfortable. The room was very small for three persons with all the luggage stalled out. The room was too expensive for the size en comfort .

Nice stay

Newly renovated spacious room. Bathroom a little small, but clean , renovated. Very quiet although located just opposite railway and bus station. 8 min walk to old town. Great location .

They have offered a parking on Booking, but there was no parking place, so they advised us at the reception to drive around and find some parking spot on the streets and we had to pay for it!!

Modern looking, but with many flaws.

Location & public lounge.

The room was not properly cleaned (dirty light switches) and the duvets, underneath the sheets were dirty. The double room had a certain smell to it that didn’t go away; rooms are not really soundproof as you can hear everything in the hallway. Toilet and bathroom are very small. No kettle or mini fridge in the room. Table is also very small.

Convenient for the Station and Old Town but very cramped

The hotel is right opposite the station and a ten minute walk from the Old Town. It has been recently restored and coffees and snacks and other entertainments are available in the lobby. There is secure multi-story car parking about 10 minutes away for a reasonable charge at the Parkhaus Holstentor on the way to the Old Town.

The floor plan shows that the size and shapes of the rooms vary somewhat due to the conversion constraints and that the room I got was the smallest on my floor. It is the first time I have slept in a double room which was higher than it was wide. If you had the curtains pulled back it hid the bedside table. There was nowhere to put a bag or case. If the bathroom door was open it was impossible to leave the room. Entering the room with a small rucksack on was very difficult even with the bathroom door closed. In a response to a review the management excused the smallness of the rooms on the grounds that it was intended that guest would spend social time using the facilities in the lobby. For those wanting quiet time and a rest the rooms are not ideal. The reception staff did not seem particularly well trained or enthusiastic.

I have booked a superior room, but have got a standard double (smaller one). In the bathroom there is no tissues, no place for cosmetics, no good light for make up. Also the bathroom was dirty. Poor breakfast. I think that this hotel doesn’t cost 110 eur for a night.

Ok for one night but would never go back

clean and close to the trainstation

A lot of stairs in random places and really tight corridors. Impossible with babies or old people. I was really struggling with my bags and even getting in to the hotel. The receptionist just looked and me and didn’t offer any help even though there was no one else. When I was leaving I was having a very hard time getting my bags out because the staff had left cleaning supplies everywhere in the corridors.
