Nice house with beautiful garden and pool, close to everything in city

Nice house in a good neighborhood of Stellenbosch, within 20 minutes walk from the city center, 5 minutes from supermarket. The house is spacious and well set up, and we had everything we needed. The house has solar panels so that it is barely affected by loadshedding, which was very pleasant (especially since we were in Stage 3 during our stay). The house has a beautiful garden and large swimming pool, from every window you see green (and a bit of blue!), this was unexpected in the city. The host Anneke leaves on the property with her family (but separate entrances and house wings) and is very helpful. She helped us get the TV channels set up and was overall very friendly. We'll be back if we come to Stellenbosch again, enjoyed the town and especially the restaurant De Volkskombuis that is just a ten-minute walk from the house with good food and great garden seating.

The stay was comfortable and brilliant

The location is great and close to everything that we required. The fact that I had a whole building to myself was brilliant. Had some nice headed bed blankets for the cold nights.

To maybe have a covered parking is almost the only upgrade this could ask for.

Excellent place with everything that you need. Home away from Home.

Everything had work. Washing machine and tumble dryer was very helpful for the long stay. The Wi-Fi was also great with a 50mbps connection. The beds was also very comfortable to sleep on. Alarm also to let you feel safe and no loadshedding.

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with the kids for the weekend visiting friends. This was perfect and the kids loved it. Lovely area if you want to go for a walk and also easy to find and close to the happenings in town. Owners very friendly and helpfull. Highly recomended.

Awesome! Excellent location, comfortable facilities and value for money!

AWESOME property and location. Really liked the privacy, facilities and cleanliness. The host is super nice! The location is one of the best features as it is walking distance from the local convenience store, take aways, pharmacy etc. Further it is also located in a very nice, quite and safe neighbourhood. Overall a pleasant, comfortable and relaxing stay!

A welcoming, spacious comfortable stay after a long couple of days!

It was a spacious, well appointed apartment that ended up being only 900m from my son's new digs and close to a superb Shopping centre and across the road from a beautiful park, in a lovely quiet suburb. It was great that we could make use of the pool to cool off from the heat in Stellenbosch at this time if the year. Anneke was a fabulous hostess.

Host With The Most

I had the best experience. Place was clean and fitted with all the necessary utilities we needed. The host was very friendly aswell. Great stay, luxury feel and conveniently located when wanting to go out. Plus friendly host.

As a last minute booking this far exceeded our expectations, would definitely recommend and return

The location was perfect for exploring not only the Stellenbosch vineyards but also the town during the evening. The accommodation appeared to have everything required for more than an overnight stay and the owner was incredibly accommodating with our vehicle requests.

While not a complaint, the only thing that was a slight challenge was parking two vehicles due to their size in the space provided with the accommodation. However the owner graciously allowed us to park one vehicle in her personal parking space instead of on the road overnight.

Google Maps directed me to the wrong address and the kind person redirected me 2 houses away on the other side of the road. This is apparently a regular problem. I suggest the property sort it out.
