Sitting on the covered deck watching the Water (Cherokee Lake),Grilling.Playing Corn Hole, Fishing,Boating, Just sharing some family time together that is what THE LAKE HOUSE is about. ALL THE CARPET HAS BEEN REMOVED AND NEW FLOORING PUT DOWN . This 4 bedroom 2 bath home also has 2 sofa beds will sleep 12. Features a fully stocked kitchen all the linings needed. The deck has a gas grill and sitting for the outdoor dinning. Memories await you and you family at this hidden treasure. WE DO HAVE WIFI added the Spring of 2020. PLEASE WATCH VIDEO ! The house is about 1 hour from Pigeon Forge and about 45 mins from Knoxville. Ramps to put your boats in the water are about 1 mile from the house. You do have a private dock at the property. Send me a message if you have any questions as this site does not allow us to share phone numbers until you book but I answer emails from this site fast !!! I Also own the property beside this one WHAT A VIEW ID 262263 can be rented as well for big families!

Gas grill did not work upon arrival....after 12 driving on the road...finally got settled after 8pm...could not grill...tired, hungry...response time for manager to get someone down to find out starter on grill broken (should have been fixed before we arrived)..over an hour...way after 9pm by then....unpacking....found clothes from previous people in dresser...augh!!!!!! TV in master bedroom never worked correctly...had to play with tht every night...augh

Our family stayed here this week, I have never stayed in a place that was so stocked up with everything! The kitchen had so many pots, pans ect. It was dry clean when we arrived. The view and access to the lake is amazing! I would recommend this place, we will be back! Connie

The Lakehouse was a wonderful get away. The house is laid out great for families and groups. There’s plenty of space and room to stretch out. The porch was where we spent most of our time. The kitchen has necessities for cooking and was well stocked with plates/utensils. The view out to the lake was breath taking and hard to leave. We had an issue with the dock, but the owner answered quickly and had it fixed the next day. A couple of things to note if traveling with young children. The garden tub is beautiful, but difficult to bathe small toddlers in. The walls of the house are thin, so keep this in mind when selecting what room to use for children. The walk down to the dock is not too steep and our toddler did great with it. The house is so close to German Creek marina and makes for an easy trip to the boat rental.

The property was wonderful, clean, great back porch and fully stocked kitchen. Water pressure was okay but had to stagger showers. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. We were out on the lake almost daily! Would stay there again.

If you are looking for a quiet quaint place with a good view of the lake this place is for you !! This cabin is not exactly lake front but it’s still a beautiful view. The host Kim is absolutely wonderful to rent from, she is always so quick to respond with any questions you might have. I have traveled a lot and have stayed in many places for my sons baseball and this by far is my most memorable one. I have stayed here twice now and next time I will check out her other property right in front of this one next time I stay because that one is lake front !! If you are on the fence about this one I can assure you it’s very clean and just perfect for the lake !!! Thanks Kim for being such a wonderful human to me and my family !!!

This property was great. Good night sleep. Nice back yard deck to view lake. Dock is accessible, a little unstable, but functionally. I docked my 20 ft pontoon with no issues. Bank is steep to access dock. Lake was isolated. No one on lake which made it nice. No waves. Crystal clear water. Could see 8 ft deep. Good air conditioning. Ramp to access front door is nice. Only one ceiling fan in property which is in family room. If you need air movement to sleep, bring a fan. Fire pit was ok. Spent multiple nights around fire pit. Multiple plastic chairs were broken, but there were other chairs that we could use. Recommended improvements, buy new plastic chairs for fire pit, buy some ceiling fans or pedestal fans for bedrooms, fix stove top burner (back right burner had issues), replace main shower nozzle. Admin issues: I did not like the high cleaning fee when it was a rule that we had to clean and put away our dishes and our towels. Normally in other places we just cleaned those items and not put them away. Would I stay here again, yes I would.

We enjoyed our family vacation on the lake in this home. Our group ranged from kids aged 10-16, to parents and grandparents, and there was plenty of space for all. Having the dock right at the house was great for lake access, just be prepared for the hill climb to get there.

House is clean, the lake and surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The kids enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. There is a marina nearby for the option of renting a boat. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils which made cooking easy. Deck was great for enjoying the view and relaxing. We even made S'mores at the firepit. Great vacation spot!

Love the house, love the yard, love the area. It has lots of places to visit within a good driving distance. But watch out for the dock. The picture listed was misleading. It only showed it from one angle. There is no way to get on it without climbing down the bank. Would not advise it for the younger child or the elderly. There is also some metal rebar with wooden pallets hung on them. I was afraid my child could fall on them and get injured. Not sure what purpose they served but they are very dangerous. If they made it easier to get on the dock I would give them 5 stars. It would be really cool if they could also add a ladder to climb off the dock to get into the water so you wouldn’t have to trudge through the mud. But overall we really enjoyed this property.

Location was as a great place to spend time with family. Kitchen was well stocked to make large family meals and no issues with wifi. The only recommendation we have for improvement would be the boating dock - was not very easy to access - wish the dock was built up more to connect with the side bank. All in all everyone enjoyed the stay!

Great home in a quiet location just down the road from a marina where you can rent a pontoon if you don’t have your own. Very relaxing vacation with family. The home is large with 4 bedrooms and two living areas for a little separation when you want it. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Would stay again.

nice location but outdated property

nice location and view but the property is outdated and needs a lot of upgrades for kitchen , bathrooms (especially shower heads ) and appliances. there is a very strong smell of smoke in every room of the property which did not go away for the entire week even when we had all windows open to allow ventilation and since the property is listed as non smoking property i think this issue has to be addressed as it is not acceptable for non smoking families.

We needed a quiet place to get away and relax, and this lake house fit the bill! We swam, kayaked (brought our own), cooked out, had campfire smores, and stargazed. We took full advantage of the private dock. The owner, Kim, was readily available, even before booking when I had tons of questions. She offered very helpful information. The house was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped. Everything your family needs for relaxing and making memories.
