Welcome to Villa Celeste, one of Puerto Vallarta's finest vacation retreats! An incredible five bed, seven bath majestic Spanish-style estate on Conchas Chinas beach, Villa Celeste is the epitome of Mexican luxury. It is considered by many to be very romantic and we have hosted a large number of weddings under its famous arch.

Situated on a beach in Conchas Chinas, the premier resort area of Puerto Vallarta, Villa Celeste is secluded yet accessible. It is removed from the crowds and traffic yet close to the center of town with its famous cobblestone streets, charming shops, street vendors and great restaurants (many award winning).

From the moment you go through the heart of Vallarta’s Old Town you know this is going to be a special vacation. After your scenic drive through town you will arrive at Villa Celeste and notice the tall graceful palms in the driveway. Enter the stone walls surrounding Villa Celeste with its 12,000 square feet of luxurious living space and begin to experience paradise.

As you enter the grounds on your left you find one of the largest private pools in all of Puerto Vallarta with magnificent ocean views. The villa is surrounded by lush gardens that give you a sense of complete seclusion. The Palapa roof covers a hammock large enough for two, allowing you to enjoy the sunset and view of the Bay of Banderas with margarita in hand!

Owner’s lack of compassion

After two tough years following my mother’s stroke. My family and I rented this property to enjoy and have a great time together. Four days prior to our arrival, my nieces got COVID, and on the day we were supposed to arrive to the property (Sunday, August 8, 2021), my mother was at the emergency room with a risk of having another stroke, and my dad was sick. The news also said there was a hurricane in Puerto Vallarta. I made a request to change the date of our vacation, but I was told that the property manager didn’t work on weekends, that I could contact him on Monday. We contacted VrBO, and we were told that the property owner should decide about our request. The property manager said the property owner didn’t want to change the date of our vacation, regardless of my nieces having COVID, my mother ending up at the emergency room, and my father feeling sick. And they also said there was no hurricane there and it wasn’t even raining. That week there was a landslide close to the property we rented due to severe rain. My nieces and my mother got better, but sadly, my father passed away. It’s just so sad to see the lack of compassion and understanding this property managers and owners show. Specially on this difficult times we all are living.

Better than we could have ever imagined

Let me start off by saying that the pictures truly do not do this place justice. If you think the place looks nice, wait til you get there. You'll be blown away. As far as booking and documentation, it was one of the easiest of all places I've stayed at through VRBO. Daniel was our booking agent and he was incredibly gracious and accommodating. We were in constant communication during the week of our arrival to make preparations, prepare the pantry, coordinate arrivals, etc. My flight was delayed and a friend who arrived before me had to check in for us and it was not an issue AT ALL. I caught up with Francis, who was helping keep the house tidy, on Sunday to sign all the necessary paperwork. A friend left a shirt in the upstairs closet, which Daniel immediately recovered and arranged to get shipped back to us. There have been many a wedding reception held here and it's easy to see how/why. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Vallarta looking to set up base away from the hustle and bustle of the Centro and Malecon, which is 5-10 minutes away via Uber. PRO TIP: Tell your driver to "stop at the famous micheladas on the curve." He'll know exactly what you're talking about and you won't be disappointed. I will definitely make a trip back to Vallarta soon and will stay at Villa Celeste without a doubt. THANK YOU!!
