We were so impressed with this home! Everything was spotless and so much nicer than the pictures showed. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you could ask for. Plenty of space for the 6 adults and 2 little girls. Carol was so easy to work with. She even left us a bottle of bubbly! Definitely recommend this one!

The property was nice for our family, but a little distance from the public beach entry. The kitchen was well-appointed and perfect for cooking while there were late sleepers.

The location of the property is just two houses down to the beach entrance. Because it was so close, we were able to go the beach every day and see it early with low tides and evenings. We were able to get to the beach early and find a great spot. Carol had beach chairs and beach towels available to use.
The Kitchen was stocked with many dishes and bowls and pans. We found a pick your own strawberries place and the kitchen had an angel food cake pan! So we baked an angel food cake to enjoy with our fresh strawberries!
Check in/out was easy.
Really enjoyed our week.

What a great house and location. The house was in excellent shape with great facilities and steps from the beach. We all loved Folly Beach and can't wait to go back.

Good Location, Close to Beach
This home is very nice and it is super close to the beach with a short walk. The only issue that we had was the construction going on next door. We weren’t told it would be going on and it was VERY disruptive. We also lost power for about 3 hours when the power company changed out the power lines / poles.
Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Truly a Hidden Treasure
This home is fantastic and perfect for a large family -or- family with friends. The interior is very nice and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked allowing for quick snacks or full meals. The home has two porches but the upstairs porch with the hammock is excellent. We hope to return next summer.

Total relaxation
My husband said it was the best beach house we ever stayed in. Location was ideal with two porches to enjoy the breeze. The house had everything you need to spend the day on the beach.

Fabulous house and location!
We couldn't have been happier with this rental for our vacation. Clean, excellent location on the island (very quiet part of Folly), close beach access, and house was equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely rent again!!

Amazing Beach House!
This house is everything a family needs to have a fantastic beach vacation. The location of the home to the public entry to the beach is maybe a two minute walk. This came in handy many times when one of my children had to run home to use the bathroom etc. The view of the beach from the top floor porch is breathtaking.
The house itself is better than what the photos present. The beds are very comfortable. The kids room even had a blackout curtain which was really helpful for my kids bc they go to bed before the sunsets.
Overall we loved it and will definitely rent from Carol again!

Great home & location!
The descriptions are accurate, more so than some of the photos (in a good way!). Specifically the TV's are modern flat screens.
The upper deck and its hammock are the best feature. Great breeze and a calming view of the ocean (but not the beach, no great loss).
The hosts are amazing! They were very responsive to any question we had. One brand new appliance had issues, nothing they could have controlled, and they were very supportive and helpful.
The house is much bigger than two people need, but the location was good which is why we opted for their larger place.
We liked Folly Beach's laid back vibe and vibrant town center (lots of restaurants).
If we come back, we would hope to rent there again.

Folly Beach House
Nice property. Everything worked as it should, including all appliances, tv's and lighting. The master BR was great with lots of room and beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the large decks on both floors. The only issue was that the upstairs was warmer than the main floor, which was nice and cool but that's to be expected, I guess. Everyone loved the short walk to the beach with easy access. Also, it's only one mile to the town of Folly Beach, which was an easy walk if you wanted to.

Perfect house near the beach
Our family of six loved staying at this house! We truly felt like we could have been home because everything we needed was provided. The house was clean, safe, and spacious! It was so nice to just unpack and relax. Just across the street was access to the beach, the very short walk was appreciated with kids and gear (also a plus that fun items for the beach were available for guests to use). Folly beach was lovely and just a short drive to get to Charleston and other activities. We hope to return and would definitely stay here again!

Great trip
We had a great vacation. Loved the house. Very clean. Close to the beach and just the right distance from the shops and restaurants so there was not an excess of vehicle traffic. Great hosts!

Lovely beach house
Great 2nd row property that has very close beach access. The owner is so nice and easy to communicate with. The house is really clean. The beach was very nice and not as crowded at this location as it was closer to the pier. Fun, beach town atmosphere and easy access to shops and restaurants especially if you rent a golf cart.

So close to the beach yet felt secluded. Close enough but not right in the middle of town. Had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

The place was wonderful! It was perfect distance to beach. Porch was our gathering place for coffee and discussion for the days adventure. Our bed was comfortable.
If you stay here I would recommend renting a golf cart, if you are planning on checking out the island. I will come back!

Perfect house in a perfect location
This house is located across the street from the beach, and the beach access is just diagonal to the house. The house itself is roomy, clean, and has plenty of parking. The beach toys and chairs were a bonus!

My wife and I had an incredible stay here in Fall 2020 during Covid. The house was a very short walk to the beach, quiet, and well maintained. Relaxing ocean view from the 2nd balcony and short drive / walk into town. We would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Great stay on the beach
Great place for a stay on this great island. We enjoyed this comfy home and it’s proximity to the beach. Sleeping with open windows, the sound of the ocean will soothe you to sleep. Stores/restaurants are within a 15 mins walk, offering great choices for dinning and celebrations. Carol has been great and responsive. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful and relaxing home
Our family came out for a relaxing stay at the beach. The best part about this house has been the lovey beach views from the deck and the close proximity to beach access. Our family with small kids has been able to hit the beach in the morning, easily come back for nap/lunch and head out again in the afternoon.
Everything was clean. There were plenty of thoughtful and helpful kitchen items and beach toys stocked at the house. We appreciated all the extra towels and even plug covers.
We hope to visit again next year!

We loved this house!
This property is very well kept! We were very relieved when we arrived as you know how some places are very different than the picture. Though there are three bedrooms, we were able to close off the master suite to make another bedroom and my parents were able to stay the night to extend their visit. The beach is so close that we just ran back and forth when we needed something. And the views from the second floor were great. Spent evenings with family drinking cocktails and making memories.
Can't say enough about this home or the owner. She was responsive and kind to a fault. Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place for a family stay at Folly Beach.

Comfy, cozy with a great view!
My husband and I enjoyed our time with our daughter and her family in this beautiful property. Kids enjoyed having only a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed all hours of the day. Morning walks, relaxing under an umbrella during the day and kite flying in the evening. We never needed to leave the area to get great food. Lots of good restaurants and a good variety of types and prices. Thank you, thank you!!

Truly a Hidden Treasure!!!
We can not say enough about this Beautiful Hidden Treasure at Folly Beach, SC. This was the Best place we could have found for our family to stay. Mark and Carol are truly Amazing! They were the Kindness most Gracious Hosts we could ever have. They gave us a lot of information about getting around Charleston and enjoying our stay. They were always available when we had a question or needed something. Their house is the Perfect home to stay in and has Everything You could need for a Perfect Peaceful Family Vacation. It has room for several family members or friends or even just a couples getaway. You will feel right at home, it is immaculately clean, has a Gorgeous view from both decks, and the top deck off the family room and bedroom has a Gorgeous view of the ocean. Trust me this is Your place to stay, do not hesitate to book. This will always be our place to stay when we come to Charleston. Thank You again Mark and Carol!!!

Hidden Treasure provided everything we needed for our three-generation vacation!
This house was perfect for our week-long stay with kids and grandkids! The four bedrooms slept seven of us with comfort and privacy. That is counting the sitting room with a sleeper sofa that can be closed off from the master BR. The way the house sits back from the road also provides privacy on the two well-furnished decks. The kitchen is well-furnished with plenty of dishes, flatware, pans and the usual small appliances.
The beach is truly just a short walk away. Using the beach cart provided made taking chairs, toys, etc. easy. Being an Atlantic beach, the sand is fairly solid, so biking or walking long distances is fun.
Although there were quite a few mosquitoes below the house, up on the decks they were not a problem. Much of the time there were wonderful breezes on the decks, especially the upper one with the hammock and beautiful view! We loved this house and hated to leave!

Great house and great location
We loved this little getaway! Spent hours on the top porch - even in the downpour. Lots of rain this season made for lots of mequitos but they didn't seem to climb as high as that porch and that's where the best views are anyway... Banana Pudding Ice Cream at Bert's and the cocktails at Low Life are worth a daily bike ride

Fabulous Hidden Treasure
Hidden Treasure is literally a hidden treasure. We knew upfront that we have booked a second row beach home, but were completely surprised about the gorgeous views of the ocean and surrounding Palmetta trees. The setting of the house is perfect since it sits back from the street and is a kind of hidden (We did miss it the first time) The house is a welcoming home and perfect for a family. Kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t even go out for dinner, because we enjoyed cooking together and hanging out at the amble outdoor space. The upper deck with hammock is just the most relaxing setting we could ask for. The walk to the beach is truly a 2min walk, two houses down the road. The beach was never crowded, not even on 4th of July when we enjoyed watching the fireworks. Booking and conversations with Carol, the owner, was easy and pleasant. We asked upfront if the house is providing a beach cart to haul beach gear to and from the beach. Carol immediately answered that she will get one for the house and for us to use. Thank you, Carol, we used it every single day. We had a wonderful time at Hidden Treasure.

Perfect Location and House Layout
We spent two weeks in this house, with 3 teenagers at times, and we all had enough room to spread out and feel like we could have our own space. It is the perfect distance from the bustling downtown area, and easily within a good walking distance if you want to walk to the Pier for lunch. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely spacious home
We had four adults and two teens here for a week. The house was very clean and well equipped and we appreciated having towels and chairs for the beach. Carol was very responsive to questions. The ocean view from the top floor is not as expansive as the photo suggests but it is there and the ocean itself is easily accessed. We would definitely recommend the house.
