Only 90 mins drive from Melbourne this two bedroom cottage is situated only 700 metres from the world famous colonades surf beach and 700 metres from Cape Woolamai safety beach. Rest, relax, surf, swim,water ski, fish, snorkel ,discover the many walking trails, visit the penquins, the Nobbies, Churchill island or the koala parks. Go for a helicopter flight, go to the motorcycle grand prix or a boat trip out to seal rock. Whatever you choose to do on your next holiday or weekend away it is all practically on your doorstep. Koala cottage is also ideal for those wanting a quiet getaway with time and space to reflect, rest or play. Koala Cottage is a compact air conditioned, two bedroom cottage with polished floor boards. The main bedroom features a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.
The living room opens onto a generous two-tiered out-door eating area and bbq.
This is a holiday or retreat experience where you can park your car and instantly enjoy the beach. From the moment you step inside you will feel relaxed. The compact kitchen has a fridge, air fryer, microwave ,toaster and kettle. The entertainment area at the rear has a 3 burner bbq with wok burner. All linen and towels are supplied. The cottage is very functional, in a quiete place. Cooking is to be done outside (barbecue + gas), beds are comfortable (even if we would have loved more blankets as it was winter time), and children loved to play in the garden which is at the back of the house (safe for young children). Cape Woolamai is such a beautiful place that we spent 3 days there, there are beautiful tracks with stunning views, long beaches, people surfing and fishing.

Very warm, clean house that has everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Its a hidden gem, nicely tucked away for privacy, yet still close enough to sightseeing, shops and eateries.

amazing property!! owner was so lovely and accommodating, we went during the winter time and were wondering if the heating situation would be ok but were more than ok with the 2 heaters which kept the whole house warm for our whole stay. the fire outside is also so nice, and the owners provided us with some wood and kindling! the property as a whole is so beautiful and we felt right at home. it is also in close distance to the beautiful cape woolamai beach as well as the wooli tavern pub! we will definitely be back! thank you so much!!!!!

Koala Cottage is a great small and functional house located in a quiet area very close to various beaches. The only challenge we had with our young kids were the beads on the door - way too appealing to small minds 😃 The garden is gorgeous, and the back yard is plenty big enough for kids to run and play. The decking is a lovely place to relax anytime of the day or evening. We would definitely look this one up again.

The house although small, was adequate for our stay, very clean. the only problem we had was the two seater lounge was very soft and had to get out of because you sank so far into it.

We chose this accommodation as it was near family. it was perfect for us. We spent time with them and when they were busy went for walks and did short drives. The garden was lovely. It was perfect for us and we enjoyed our stay. Hope to go again and next time stay longer.

We enjoyed staying at this property. The house was very clean and the backyard beautiful to sit and relax in. It's location was great -15 min walk to the safety beach, surf beach and shops, plus a short drive to many other attractions. We hope to return!

Beautiful cottage with a gorgeous garden. The neighbourhood was very quiet and the location is perfect, so close to some amazing walks and lookouts. We forgot to bring DVDs for our older kids, a perfect finishing touch would be to add in some additional DVDs. Highly recommend for a peaceful place to stay.

Cape Woolamai is such a lovely neighborhood, we love San Remo too and it’s conveniently close to that end of the island. PI is such a perfect place for a getaway with a young family. This cottage was exactly what we wanted. Clean, simple, charming, with everything we needed, and a large secure backyard for our little one to kill some time playing in, he loved exploring all the little garden sculptures. Heater worked well to heat up the entire cabin. Shower was great. Doonas on the beds were so warm! We loved sitting out on the deck with a coffee each morning while the little one collected gum leaves and spotted birds and little lizards. Graham was great to communicate with and check and check out was super easy. We’d love to make this our regular little family get away and come each year to create more cute little memories! We’ll be back for sure. Thank you Koala Cottage!

What an absolutely wonderful time we enjoyed at this beautiful property! The facilities were excellent! comes With a BBQ provided with 2 full tanks of gas for hours of entertainment, amazing little fire pit with wood provided, massive backyard for the kids to run around In and a front Gate to contain them all. Honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. By far has to be the best place I've stayed in the last few years.

The property was a great little beach cabin, very simple but fine for our needs. It was nice and clean, other than some dirty plates that had been hidden under others by previous guests. Graham was notified of this and offered late check out to compensate. Overall, we had a good stay.
