位置好，自驾的方便，不自驾的走着去镇中心，火车站，观鲸点或大超市，步行都不远房间很适用，降温了没烧暖气之前都有电暖器用，挺温馨的店家兢兢业业打理，干净，厨房宽敞，炊具足，随时都能用。店家也乐于助人，为人解难。

也算是一种体验吧

公用起居室早早烧起了取暖炉，外面下着大雨，很冷，而屋内暖意融融，坐在沙发上写游记，非常舒服。

房间太小，连个放东西的桌子都没有，东西都是放在地上的😅😅😅

At the front property is tidy. At the back it wasn’t, the garden, chickens free roaming, unsafe steps to reach the kitchen need attention for anyone with a disability. Kitchen needs a bit more attention to detail.

Very convenient, comfortable. Definitely would consider using again on a stopover on the way to Chch

very kind hosts. Generally comfortable sleeping area. Would have liked a jug or similar in the room to make coffee first thing in the morning or evening, but the common kitchen was excellent anyway.

Hot water in kitchen was not very hot. Was adequate, though. Noisy motor noise from nearby property during the night.

Happy to recommend to others.

Everything we needed was in the shared kitchen. A warm wood fire made the lounge and kitchen comfortable on a very cold day.. The staff were very helpful with offers of extra duvets when the heating boiler failed.

Not a problem for us as we checked in early but later arrivals should have had their heating already turned on. The double glazing would have kept their rooms warmer when the boiler broke down.

Value for money and served our purpose for a short term stay.

Rooms were fit for purpose at a good price. Location was excellent for our purpose.

Not all rooms were equal in amenities. Not all rooms had a fridge or tea making facilities in room, but a communal kitchen was available within easy access.

Nice little one-nighter

Plenty of space and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cutlery and crockery, with cooking facilities.

TV was tricky to operate, but we hardly used it. Cash only. No air-con.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. There were good kitchen facilities.

The room was ok, however the bathroom curtain was quite dirty. There were also no hooks for the bath towels which was a bit inconvenient.

Overall we were quite satisfied but felt little improvements would be welcomed.

Bed was comfortable and shower was clean, plenty of hot water for showers. Common room was adequate

I thought there was insufficient lighting in places like the corridor and staircase leading to top balcony at front. Also lack of a rubbish receptacle in common room was annoying. Plenty of recycling options but nothing for outright rubbish. Room lacked toilet rolls initially but this was quickly remedied.

Really beautiful little place. The view was spectacular. The room was great value for money. The staff were amazing!

Curtain was a little short for window and security light was on all night outside of it.

Staff were very good and friendly central location. Shared kitchen very clean had everything that was needed

Shower was very hot couldn't be turned down which was a safety issue. They do not have efpos only take cash which was a pain

we got given a very small room felt like a match box and felt it wasn’t worth what I was paying but it was only for one night so I geuss dosnt matter

I loved the central location . super cheap family prices, ease for booking etc

there was a lot of noise at night with overgrown trees rubbing against the windows and buildings. outside leaves a lot to be desired - lots of mud, drums and general house stuff
