About this house rental
Cozy and cute two bedroom home in Bayshore, (both bedrooms have queen beds) One and one-half baths (one full bath in hall) and separate 1/2 bath between kitchen and garage. Sleeper sofa in living room, limited view with beach access directly across the street. 50 inch flat screen TV in living room with HD. The master bedroom has a 42 inch Flat screen TV, both have DVD players. Wonderful large deck off living room. Washer/dryer in garage, full kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher. Gas log fireplace. Close to the Bayshore Beach Club with pool privileges in summer months. WiFi.

We love Waldport and can take many day trips from there. The house was just right for us. We had an issue with the garage door not working and it was fixed within two days. The reach access is very close. It was wonderful to have a heat thermostat in each room.

We loved the Moffet house! It was clean, homey and close to the beach. The neighborhood and the beach were quiet and only a few people in sight (not like the busy, more touristy areas). Everything was comfortable and worked well, and we would love to come back again!

We arrived to a very clean well stocked home. We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and were very comfortable. Having the garage to park in was also an added bonus. Beach access is pretty much right across the road and we can't wait to come back again!

This house is right across the road from the dune that leads to the beach. It takes just a few minutes to walk there. You can see the ocean in-between houses from the front deck. Beautiful beach, nice house for the price. This is a dog friendly house so there were some spots on the carpet,to be expected, aside from that the house is clean and comfortable.

We stayed very early spring (March 2024). The house is perfect! It’s well stocked with dishes and utensils. The beds are very comfortable. (The fireplace doesn’t work but we probably wouldn’t have used it.) It’s the perfect location. Across the street from the entrance to the dunes and the beach, a great beach!! Close to Newport, close to Yachats. So many great beaches. Perfect spot, perfect house, perfect weather. We will be back!

My friend and I have been dealing with a lot of health issues so I booked our stay at the Moffit House. It was lovely. The house was clean, beds comfortable and so close to the beach. We had a storm Saturday so the wave swells were magnificent. Unfortunately the fireplace failed but it was still very nice. Do not need coffee filters or toilet paper. But bring foil. Thank you for the opportunity, we will definitely stay again.

This home provided just what we needed for a winter beach weekend. Lockbox was straight-forward, access to the beach across the street was wonderful and the view of the waves out the front windows was perfect. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, a garage, big TV, puzzles, books, all helped make our stay more enjoyable. Other rentals on the block allowed our family to rent 2 spaces and gather for meals and trips to Devil's churn, Cape Perpetua, Newport, Yaquina Head tidepools, Seal Rock and local restaurants like LunaSea and Pacific Sourdough Bakery. Thanks for an easy stay!

The house is dated but reasonably clean and comfortable. The very best characteristic of this rental was its proximity to beach access at marker 67. We really enjoyed the frequent walks on the beach without having to drive. On the con side, there were 4 controllers for the TV and related video equipment and no instructions. We never got the TV to work, although that's not the primary reason we came to the beach. Also, the gas fireplace didn't work. Again, not a biggie but maintenance and details were lacking.

The house is an older one. There is mold in the bathroom. I know, it is difficult, to keep mold out of a bathroom without a window. The beds are comfy, kitchen has all you need. Beachaccess is just across the street. The built-in-microwave broke on saturday evening. I called the number of the responsible person for that house. And Peter helped us out with an seperate microwave. It is very easy to talk to him. Thank you Peter and team.

The Moffett house was a great place to stay for the week. We were very thankful for the dishwasher, washer and dryer. We even borrowed the crab trap that is in the garage. It functioned perfectly as a home away from home. :)

This house is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood directly across the street from an amazing beach where you can walk for miles in either direction. We loved being able to park our car in the garage. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable. We appreciated the use of the washer/dryer. There were plenty of linens and dishware. We would definitely stay here again.

It was a cute little place. A bit dated and had mold in the bathroom and windows. The beds were very hard!!! Other than the mold the house was very clean and neat. You can tell there has been plenty of pets by all the stains but does not smell at all, just stained. Wouldn’t go through Vrbo again with the fees

This retro 1960's house was an interesting stay. We enjoyed long walks along the seemingly infinite beaches, just across the road and between two houses.We saw a pod of gray whales cruising south. WiFi and cell phone coverage was OK. The dishwasher worked well but was noisy. The washer and dryer were in the garage and worked fine. There was lots of cutlery, pots and pans, dishes etc, much more than we'd ever use.Overall a quiet and restful stay.

This is our family's second year staying at the Moffett House and it has yet to disappoint! We love that Waldport is a small community with TONS of beautiful beach spots to visit. The town has everything you could need and is only 5 minutes to drive. The Moffett house is an older house but it is so cozy and comfortable, and has GREAT beach access right across the street. We are a family of 4 with 3 big doggos and we never feel like we are cramped or lack anything in this home. Highly, highly recommend!

The Moffet house was within walking distance to the beach. The inside of the house was cute with a big beautiful fireplace. It did smell a little musty and the beds were too hard so we all didn't get much sleep. But overall, this beach house was great and we created everlasting memories all weekend. The house is well-maintained and very comfy, nicely decorated with games and books for rainy days. We had a little problem finding the third bedroom as it is only accessed through the garage and only has built in bunk beds and little space and no other furniture. It's very close to the path to the beach (less than 5 minutes walk).
