There is no better location in all of Pacific Grove! This home is directly across from Lover's Point recreation area and park which has white sandy beaches, swimmingj, surfing, kayaking, snorkeling/diving, paddle boarding, biking, dining, and a coffee house. For your leisure, we offer complimentary use of boogie boards and beach toys available for your use and enjoyment at NO additional charge.
Enjoy a beautiful 1-mile walk (2,000 steps) from the Cottage along the Coastal Recreation Trail to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. A 1/4 mile north, you can visit downtown Pacific Grove, the Farmer’s Market, shops, restaurants, and galleries. By car, you can view sunsets at Asilomar State Marine Reserve (7 minutes), Pebble Beach (15 minutes), and Carmel-by-the-Sea (17 minutes).
Every room has been extensively updated. FEATURES: The main floor open concept living area has a comfy sectional, a separate reading lounge that functions as a twin bed, a Smart TV, a bay view window seat, and a separate dining area that can also be used for board games, puzzles, or remote work.
Within walking distance, there are wonderful restaurants, or you may prefer to prepare your gourmet recipe in the well-equipped kitchen or BBQ outdoors while taking advantage of alfresco dining on the back patio.
There are two bedrooms: both the King and Queen are located upstairs, and each has a TV. There are also two bathrooms: the upstairs has a tub/shower combo; the lower has an antique clawfoot tub/shower.
PARKING: One single off-street parking space on the property with a rolling gate for security, and additional non-metered free street parking.

Amazing cottage with an unbeatable location. Walk to everything. Communication from Jack was terrific. Would stay there again any time we visit the area. Nowhere could possibly be better!

I've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and have experienced some highs and lows. This property was definitely a high! Perfect location, great communication with the owner. Restaurants and shopping close by and directly across the street from Lovers Point and an excellent walking path. Really don't need a car for the area in Pacific Grove.

We loved staying at the cottage at lovers point. The house was very clean and comfy. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we could need. The house is lovely, but need to remember it’s an old Victorian that has been updated for modern conveniences. So though they’ve done a great job and up keep was beautiful, it’s not spacious and a lil quirky. Most would say charming! We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location. Walkable to restaurants, quick drive to some amazing site in Monterey and Carmel. Thanks for the stay Jack!

We loved our stay in this cozy cottage with ocean views and a wonderful ocean walking trail. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable, providing a good nights sleep.

If you want to hang out at Lover's Point all weekend, this is the place for you. You open the front door, cross the street, and you're there.
This charming craftman style house is beautiful, filled with so much character and details, and has everything you need: 2 beautiful rooms with comfortable beds (check), incredibly decorated interior (check), outdoor shower with a foot washing station (check).
You can't beat this location, unless you were on the beach. Jack is a great host (easy to communicate with and quick to respond to messages and phone calls).

The location was beautiful and Lover's Point Park was amazing. Everything we needed was at our disposal and the property was close to the places we needed to get to and wanted to visit. A mother seal and her baby were within a 5 minute walk as an added bonus. The property owner was communicative and kind. We had a wonderful visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. I was doing all of the driving, and appreciated the off-street parking, which was provided with a gate.
The kitchen was well appointed and served our needs easily, as we liked to eat breakfast in every day. The sitting room was comfortable, and had a large TV.
The bed we used was also comfortable, with soft sheets.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable, and decorated in a way to feel bright and fresh. The shower upstairs had nice hot water, which was much appreciated after the showers we had at Sequoia and Yosemite. A good kitchen, and a delightful sunlit space to do a bit of laundry. We felt quite at home. It was lovely to walk along the coast and see otters, a mama and infant seal, star fish, and beautiful flowers. We loved having the little beach right off our doorstep. We’d like to come back and explore more of “PG.” What a great place! The owner was very kind.

This cottage is the perfect place to stay in Pacific Grove! The cottage is very nicely appointed; it is charming, cozy, and comfortable. Jack is a terrific host who provides lots of useful information about both the cottage and Pacific Grove. You wake up with a view of the captivating coastline and Lovers Point and access to the walking path along these beautiful landscapes is but steps from the cottage. Likewise, it is an easy walk into Pacific Grove’s downtown area for eateries, art galleries, quaint shops, and the museum. Again, this is a beautiful cottage in a terrific location!

I absolutely adore this cottage. You are right across the street from a beach. The home is airy and bright. And it’s located close to all of the places you would want to go during your stay here.
The check-in process was a breeze. The host provided everything we might need during our stay. Check-out was even easier. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage at Lovers Point. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, and the views of Monterey Bay were spectacular. My friend and I took our two teenaged daughters to stay in this adorable two bedroom house. The house is immaculately decorated and has all that we needed for the 4 of us. We used the kitchen to prepare meals and washed a few loads of laundry. The view from the little porch was perfect for my morning coffee and the beaches at Lover's Point were just what the teenagers wanted for warm sunshine away from the cool breeze. My daughter and I slept in the front bedroom and you can hear the traffic in the morning but that is because I was sleeping in so it was no bother at all. Loved our stay here!

Already loved Monterey and this place was a spectacular way to live a few days in the thick of it. Short walks to watch the sea otters at lovers point or up the street to the main drag of pacific grove. Old house with all the character and none of the issues you’d expect. Great place to stay in my favorite place on earth.

Such a cozy cottage with ocean views and right across the street. The Pacific Grove neighborhood was perfectly walkable to coffee shops, brunch spots, and restaurants. Jack made our stay perfect! He has thought of everything you might need including free bikes, extra heaters if needed, puzzles and updated everything! Jack checked in on us regularly and answered any questions very quickly. I even was able to make my own lime/lemon sodas using the fresh fruit from tree in the back!
