Great base for a holiday in Sami

Venetia's House is in a great location on the edge of Sami and overlooking the sea. There is a nice little garden with lemon and orange trees and a sitting area. You can walk into Sami in 5 mins and we also walked to Melissani cave which is well worth a visit. Lots of great restaurants in town so spoilt for choice. We also hired a quad from Andreas at KEFALONIA2RIDE on the front (highly recommended) and visited Antisamos Beach which was lovely - I wouldn't advise walking there, the road is steep and narrow and can get quite busy at times. The house is well equipped and Maria responds very quickly to any queries you may have. She is a great host and as an example we had a problem with the washing machine and her friend Giorgos drove all the way to Argostoli to get a new one on the same day. Perhaps the only thing we would have found useful was a welcome pack explaining how everything worked. We had a lovely time at Venetia's House and would not hesitate in recommending it.

Very nice stay, I would return any time.

Wonderful location, very quiet street, a beautiful terrace with sea view and nice owners. The kitchen is very well equipped, they even gifted us a bottle of wine and some local pies. The bathroom is clean and has everything you need.

A TV in the living room would have been great, but we didn't miss it that much.

Simply the best!

Perfect! The location was fantastic 5 minutes walk from the port yet quiet. The view over the sea to Ithaka was stunning. The welcome of a spotlessly clean house, a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit was lovely..... I could go on and on. Quite simply the best all round package in a holiday let you could ask for. Would we come again ... Oh yes! - I would happily live here 🥰

Excellent stay in a house with amazing sea views.

The property is a small, beautiful, traditional Kefalonian house. Very functional, clean and fully equipped for a family of 4. We liked the location at the edge of the town centre, the outdoor sitting area and terrace and the sea view. The garden, in particular, has the image of paradise: it opens up to the archeological site of the ancient Sami port, and it has undisturbed views of the Sami bay and the mountains beyond. The Antisamos beach (one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece) is only a few minutes drive away. We visited it daily.

There is nothing that we didn't like.

Excellent accommodation

The house is pretty, well equipped, the view on the sea is exceptional. Lovely garden with terrace to eat "al fresco". Comfortable beds, very good protections against mosquitoes on all windows. Very central, short walk to restaurants. Easy parking in front of the door.

The washing machine was being repaired... Not really a problem though!

Amazing!

We enjoyed the space available. Large living room, two large bedrooms, kitchen and the outdoor space. Maria provided us with some essential food which was very much appreciated. Fantastic host and a fantastic house!
