Lovely cottages with a private beach. Refreshments at check-in and very attentive to our needs. The cottage had a nicely furnished kitchenette.

Great view--got there at sunset and went down to the beach--beautiful. Room was very "warm" and welcoming! Front desk staff were very helpful.

Was a little difficult to find--until I remembered to use my GPS!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and helpful when we asked about restaurants and a laundromat.

Beautiful ocean view from cottage window. Kitchen, living room, dining area, and sitting areas in side and out were a part of the stay. It was very nice and convenient. The staff was extremely kind. Would definitely stay here again, but maybe for a longer period next time. The bathroom was very large. We stayed in Cabin 6, with 2 double beds.

The beds were comfortable, but firm.

3rd stay at Colonial Gables. Lovely cottage, excellent view, perfect location, great trip! Looking forward to coming back next year.

Belfast is a nice coastal town. We liked the harbor walk and the shops and restaurants. We also went to the nearest state park and had a nice easy walk on the waters edge. There was a nice view of the water from our room, and it's a short drive to Belfast harbor. A short drive the other direction to Moose Point State Park.

We had some issues with the a/c unit and the plumbing in our room during our stay. After some communication with the management they made things right for us. There was a nice view of the water from our room.

The owners are so nice and accommodating. Cabins are right on the water

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The view was beautiful and the cabin was comfy and clean.

We would have liked a cabin closer to the water but we had never been there and didn't know to request that. Therefore, when we got there and saw, we asked but tthey were full. The deck on our cabin needs improvement.

View and the proximity to the main road was very convient.

When we got in, the hotel room smelled like bleach, so we opened all the windows. After the bleach smell went away it smelled like a wet dog. There was also black dog hair on the bed. The bed seemed to be about 10 years old and very uncomfortable and the front door needed a hard push in order to open.

The ocean views were amazing and you have privacy in the cottages. Very clean

We would have liked to know that we needed to bring things like paper towels and sponges to wash dishes

Location! Private beach was nice. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and cottages all renovated since our last stay

More trash cans around property. Only one garbage can down by beach. They are pet friendly. Need more places to dispose pet waste.Needd door mats. Floors are wood vinyl. We tracked in way too much sand. A door mat would catch a lot of it.
