About this cottage rental
Charming Cape Cod Cottage Condo. Fully renovated 2 bedroom, one and a half bath quaint cottage sleeps 6. Close to everything Marblehead. Walk to restaurants, boutiques and historical sights. Kitchen, dining and living room downstairs. Two bedrooms upstairs with queen bed in each. Second bedroom also has daybed with trundle. Lots of closet space. Central air conditioner, BBQ and lots of kitchen amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Internet, cable, washer. dryer, Pack n Play crib, stroller, linens and towels provided. No pets. One off street parking spot. Great home away from home!

We had a lovely time at Sugar’s charming and cozy cottage! The home has everything you need for an enjoyable stay with plenty of room. The location is perfect for wandering Marblehead or exploring surrounding areas like Salem & Boston. Wish we had more time there and will definitely choose to stay here again.

Trip planned was to visit Salem over Halloween. Sugar’s home was perfect! We were able to easily make it to Salem each day and had time to stop by the nearby beach and also a couple places in Marblehead for breakfast and ice cream. Such a quaint little town and everyone that we met in Marblehead was so friendly and helpful. Sugar provided helpful tips and information on things to do in the area. Her home was so cozy and comfortable for our stay. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area!

Just spent a few days with my family in this wonderful cottage in Marblehead. The place had everything you need to settle in and relax with loads of really thoughtful touches by the host. It’s in a really nice neighbourhood with most of historic Marblehead within walking distance including coffee spots and take away if you want. I would highly recommend as a base to explore the greater Massachusetts area and all the wonderful things it has to offer.

Sugar is a fabulous host. The house was perfect! And the location was great and not too far from Salem , but it got you out of the craziness of Salem.

What a wonderful time we had! This cottage is exactly as advertised. Communication with Sugar is fast, easy and very helpful. We visited during an extremely busy time for the area and Sugar's suggestions were invaluable.
We went to visit Salem, but ended up falling in love with Marblehead, it truly is magical!
If/when we visit the area again, I will look here first!

It was perfect little get away

The communication from the property owner was prompt, professional, and polite. Any question our group had was quickly answered.
The place was very clean on arrival, with snacks on the counter and a fully stocked coffee station (Very Important after a long day of traveling!).
There were plenty of ride sharing drivers / shuttles in the area to make travel without a rental vehicle very easy. And there are plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance of the cottage.
If we travel up to that area again, I'll be sure to check if this place is available to stay.

Sugar’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The space has everything you want and need. The location was perfect for us to visit Salem and the Boston area. Marblehead is a beautiful little town to explore around also! And the cottage is a short walk to shops and the waterfront. Sugar was amazing to communicate with and super accommodating.

Sugar was very accommodating. The house way more than expected. It was like staying at a home away from home! Very comfortable stay with a warm aspect to it.

We really enjoyed our stay in Marblehead. The house was charming, clean, and close to everything as our family loves walking.
The only reason I am not giving a 5 is because when we arrived there was no hot water. Turns out the hot water heater had to be replaced. We had no hot water for 2 days. The owner was very helpful and clearly felt bad but the heater was very old and with routine maintenance a new one should have been installed electively.
Other than that we were very comfortable and I would recommend the property. Thank you Sugar.

What a great location. The property is absolutely charming. Everything you need at your fingertips. We drove up the coast to Rockport for a beautiful sightseeing tour. And we drove in to Boston for a day of adventure. We also just stayed in Marblehead and enjoyed walking around the picturesque town.
We will definitely be back.

I stayed with my four adult children but it would’ve been a great place to stay with grand children also. Easy walking around the town and the owner is easy to reach and very receptive to any questions and could not have been nicer!

Charming Marblehead Cottage.
Vintage cottage nestled in historic district. Close (walking distance) to all shops, restaunts and taverns. Fun pubs with a wide variety of food selections. Sugar is your host and she is very friendly and accommodating. Responds within minutes. Home has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms which was nice for 4 adults. Stocked with anything you need and then more.
Highly suggested for a quiet New England get away, and a few quick trips to Salem and Boston for site seeing.

Cozy and clean!
We loved our stay at 42 Prospect! The cottage had all the comforts of home and we could easily walk to our favorite Marblehead spots. Though we didn’t end up cooking - the kitchen had everything needed to prepare anything as well as wonderful wine glasses! We would definitely recommend it.

Great house in Marblehead
My husband and I live in Marblehead and had to get out of our house for a week while we were having our kitchen floors sanded and stained at the end of a kitchen reno. This was the perfect place for us. But if we had been vacationing in Marblehead, this would have been the perfect place for us also. It's within walking distance to many of Marblehead's best shops and restaurants. On street parking was easy (which is not always true in Marblehead - it sometimes can be a challenge to find parking lol). Sugar has equipped this house with more than you will need - from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the bedrooms. It is very COVID-safe with hand sanitizers everywhere. The neighborhood was quiet with cute historic and cottage houses. I couldn't recommend this place more and would absolutely stay here again if a similar situation comes up again in our lives.

We had five adult women total and all slept and stayed comfortably for 4 nights. Sugar had so many amenities, and most importantly was the best host. She was easy to get ahold of, and very personable and friendly. She emailed me links that had information on events, parking, etc during our stay. One day the outlets in a room seemed to stop working. I contacted her right away and she had it resolved immediately. I would recommend this rental a thousand times over and hope to come back again myself someday!

Great location!
My group of 4 had a great stay at this property. Sugar was really easy to communicate with via texting, and answered a call during check-in when we couldn't find the front door.
Great location within walkable distance of many shops and trails. No issues finding parking. We enjoyed Maria's Java Sun for breakfast. The kitchen was well-stocked and plenty of room for 6 people for dinner. There were a couple light switches that didn't seem to work (living room and the larger bedroom), but the lamps in the rooms did. I would also recommend placing a bin (or sign) out for recycling so guests know what can be recycled. We ended up throwing all our trash away, but I would have liked to recycle what we could. Also want to note that it would be a tight squeeze for 6 people given that there is 1 shower and 2 bedrooms. All in all, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Sugar.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
Staying at this home was such a treat! Not only was it wonderfully charming, it was also in walking distance to great shops and restaurants. Sugar was a great host, very easy to communicate with & attentive. She even allowed us to rent a movie as a welcoming gift! There was even candy on the counter when we arrived (which we took full advantage of) as well as other lovely little touches. I'd recommend renting this property to anyone looking for a nice stay in Marblehead and am looking forward to booking again in the future! Thanks Sugar!
