Wonderful place

Fantastic accommodation, It offers a homely and comfortable experience. The place is located in a prime area, it provides easy access to nearby attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the surroundings. We enjoyed stunning views of the scenic landscape, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The property is exceptionally clean and cozy, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to ensure a welcoming stay. On-site parking is available. Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway or a home-away-from-home experience, I highly recommended the place for its comfort, location, and outstanding service.

The whole experience was an absolute pleasure

Quiet idyllic spot with beautiful views. Majella is a genuine host. She was kind enough to drop us into castlebar and recommended a few spots.

Have pleasant stay.

Fully equipped properly, where also provided breakfast which is very kind for a self catering house. Value for money for group of 4-5 people staying here especially for a family with kids, spacious green area nice view as house over a small hill. Kitchen window overlooking Crogh Patrick's.

Only have one toilet.

Ideal....

What's not to like! We had a lovely trip to mayo made all the more enjoyable by this amazing accommodation, had everything we needed also with extras such as breakfast,dvds and like a tourist office with the beautiful pictures on the walls of local attractions such a great touch. The owner was welcoming and on hand if needed but very much our own space also...thank you I'm sure we'll venture your way again....

Excellent hosts and enjoyed the stay - 5 stars.

The cottage was lovely in a scenic location and enjoyed the stay. Majella helped us in every way and felt at home.

On a positive note I would request the hosts to check the cleanliness of utensils as the pans have become old and not properly washed by previous guests.

Great apartment- great communication with host would recommend again .

Beautiful quite location with great views- so comfy, home away from home. Warm and inviting. Host Majella had breakfast items for us all ready and could not ask for more. Perfect for a catch up or relaxing get away. Will be back for sure. Thank you so much .

Amazing place so cosy with a lovely fire to welcome us. Majella and John were lovely people who made us feel very welcome, they even drove us into town, so kind. Beautiful rural setting with fantastic views. Breakfast was also supplied for us. Thank you so much Majella and John.

Beautiful cosy rural retreat

Lovely cosy holiday home, quiet countryside location, yet not a far drive from Castlebar. View of Croagh Patrick from some windows! Very welcoming and helpful host Majella. Lovely stay.

Fantastic place to stay.

The accommodation was lovely, warm, clean and spacious. Everything you might possibly need for your stay is provided, a real home from home, and so peaceful. Majella was lovely and helpful, she met us at a nearby service station and showed us over to the house, and to top it off she provided breakfast for the morning. The accommodation is just a short drive from Castlebar. I will definitely book to stay here again.

The place was spotless. Facilities of a high standard. The host Majella was very friendly and accommodating. Only 15 mins to Westport and 5 mins to Castlebar. Ideal base for seeing the West.

Hosts really nice/friendly. Visiting my Aunty only 5 minute drive away so location perfect for me. Beautiful Ballintubber Abbey near by and shop/petrol station only 2/3 minute drive in car. Majella had stocked some items for brekkie which was really nice. House very clean /Spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely house in a beautiful location!

The house is in a beautiful location and so quiet! All you can hear are birds. You can even see Croagh Patrick from the kitchen window. The house was even better than in the photos when we arrived - really well-appointed, super comfortable and spacious. Everything that you need for a lovely staycation is provided and there's a great seating area outside with 2 tables for drinking in the views on a nice day. The host was very kind and let us in to the propety early - there was breakfast and lots of helpful items left for us too! We particularly loved walking down the lane in the evening (turning right towards Westport) - the views are stunning and hardly a car passes!

Brillant will Defo return again,very relaxed and clean

Fab accomadation,very clean, well equipped and private area for bbq. Kids loved running around the garden and enjoying bbq facilities. Lovely host met us with key and was available should the need have arose. Great location with kids,we had 3 under 8yr. Car def essential for this accomadation. Take away in the daybreak shop was amazing as recommended by host

Great weekend break

Majella was lovely and welcoming, she had breakfast and milk in the fridge, selection of cereals which was great. Fire ready to go. There was loads of hot water and seating outside. Great DayBreak shop a little drive from the house, staff were so nice. Lovely pizzas. We hired bikes from Bikes and Boards in Castlebar and cycled the Greenway. Well worth a visit.

A great esxape

In a lovely quiet area for a relaxing break. I would definitely return in happy circumstances (here for a family fuberal) Everything you could ask for in a self catering property. I loely surprise of milk, bacon, eggs, bread and beans for breakfast. (And cereals). Wonderful hosts.

Everything was great. A lovely welcome and a warm log fire. Nothing to complain About here 😁👍
