Best stay in Bolivia so far

The perfect stay. I would go back right now. Everything from the staff to the place itself was great. Don't miss it if you go to Samaipata.

Lovely affordable accommodation, relaxing vibe and very friendly

Lovely hosts, very welcoming and flexible. Great location in centre of town. Really nice atmosphere. Really helpful able to leave bags while on trips/after check out and still use the facilities.

Quite loud due to location in centre with motorbikes and dogs but to be expected for being in the centre of town

Nice place in Samaipata!

It was very conveniently located, the rooms are nice and quiet, it has a great terrace view, the decoration is very nice, and it made my stay in Samaipata worth it!

They could offer water to fill your bottle. Breakfast is too little.

The hostel stuff was super friendly and helped with very question. The kitchen was big and clean.

Exceptional

The hostel had a tranquil vibe with friendly people and owner. The hostel is less than a minutes walk to the main square and the Western Union. It also is right across from the laundry shop where you buy your bus ticket to Sucre with it departing right outside the hostel. The two kittens, Lorenzo and Pascal were also very friendly and adorable. The owner let me keep my baggage in the hostel even after checking out as I had a long wait for the bus to Sucre.

They have a really nice communal seating area outdoors and a kitchen. Our bus was not leaving till the evening and the owner kindly let us use the shower and facilities until we left after checking out.

The room was comfortable, however it was by a main road so we were woken up regularly throughout the night by dogs barking. There were not many bathrooms and we're not that clean.

Nice, comfortable stay in a lovely setting

Very friendly personnel. The room and common courtyard is very cosy. The bed & breakfast is closely situated to the center, where there are very good restaurants.

Breakfast was good and healthy (lots of fruit and tasty homemade jam), but could be a bit more. Price was rather high.

definitely worth a trip

the courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. the room was beautiful and the views were amazing. The social spaces were lovely, with hammocks and different areas to relax in. Dora was lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was lovely, and it was very relaxing to be there.

At night the noise from the road was disturbing, so we didn’t sleep the best. The shower was not hot or even warm. They did not provide a towel or bath mat so the bathroom was always wet as the shower curtain wasn’t long enough. The wifi didn’t reach our room.

Cheap option for one night without accomodation but wouldn’t recommend as a base.

Central location and cute layout.

The lady managing the property was very grumpy and unhelpful, and the breakfast was hardly a snack.

Nice comfy Tranquil

I liked the comfortable big mattress’ and the owner allowing me to leave earlier than I booked for with ease.

At one point I was locked out during the late afternoon and with a bus to catch and my belongings to get from with inside the hostel I had a little panic before another guest letting me in with her keys.

Rude staff and uncomfortable rooms

Nothing.

The staff was very rude and unhelpful. The owner seemed offended I dared to take her time with questions about buses. She also got angry when once I closed the room doors too loudly by accident. I met multiple people who changed hostels after one night here because of how unpleasant the atmosphere was. The rooms were extremely cold and the beds were really uncomfortable. I definitely do not reccommend staying here.

Very good

First night there was an issue with our room, which the staff helpfully sorted out for us the following morning and offerred us a new room. They also comped us that night, which was very kind of them. NIce location, good sized room, hot showers and friendly staff - a good choice in Samaipata

Shower curtain could be longer so as not to get the bathroom wet. Soap would have also been appreciated for the bathroom

Great location, nicely decorated, very pleasant patio with beautiful plants. Dora was very helpful, giving good practical advice (in Spanish) about where to go and what to do.

Cozy and homelike Hostal

The Staff was really nice and helpful with everything. I could ask for anything and it didn't feel unwanted. The breakfast was just the best. Everyday fresh fruits with homemade pan and tee or coffee. Everything is full of love and details. The place so nice designed. And the kitchen even has an working oven 😃

A cute place to stay

Great location, short walk to the main square. Helpful and friendly owner who is on site and can help with travel questions, bus arrangements, etc.

If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs. It seems like every kid in town owns a very loud motorcycle/dirt bike and zooms up and down the street the hostel is on.

Good

Nice atmosphere and big rooms. Really cozy place with good location. A nice view point from the roof (but no place to sit there just watch). Nice staff that helped us with information.

Breakfast was good but really small. When I wanted just one more slice of bread they made me pay 1 boliviano for a tiny slice. Also it's hard to find a spot outside with complete shade.
