The owner was in constant communication with us, whilst before and when we arrived. We had an early flight in so he allowed us to safely leave our bags and be around the pool area midday, whilst they did a thorough clean. There is an iron, hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer all in good working order. The apartment is close to restaurants and bars, bit hilly and a lot of steps to get to and from the beach, which is fine if you are fit unlike me. The pool was cleaned regularly whilst we there. They could do with updating the sun beds as all were broke but we were able to lie on them, just be careful as they may finally give way. Overall a beautiful large place, if you have an Amazon account you can sign in on the lounge TV. Would definitely recommend and would go back in a heart beat. Yellowfish transfers were also great and would highly recommend them to.

The property is absolutely amazing both inside and out! There is so much space. On arrival we were welcomed by the owner Arménio who greeted us at an early check-in time to coincide with our flight, which was just so helpful. Entering the property for the first time was awesome, a large square with doors to the rooms in the villa, along with a ginormous indoor plant. Master bedroom with a balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Lower and upper terraces both overlooking the Ocean, with incredible views. Private swimming pool on the lower terrace not overlooked! Words cannot do justice to Villa Jamelo, we will definitely be visiting again! Alhos de Agua had a great choice of restaurants and places to sit and have a beer, cocktail or a glass of wine all within walking distance.

Villa Jarmelo is a beautiful villa which is well located to access the beach (steps), restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The garden and swimming pool are well looked after on a daily basis. The villa has the best view of the sea and beach in Olhos. We hope to return in the future.

We had a great stay! The property is exactly as seen in the pictures. The views are amazing and the backyard garden with pool was very private while still feeling open with a big view of the ocean. Armenio, our host, was very gracious, friendly, and helpful. The villa was clean and relaxing. The beach, as well as restaurants, were very close and easy to walk to. We rented a car and it was easy to find a place to park right by the villa. I would recommend this place, and would happily stay here again.

Amazing view

We spent a glorious week at Villa Jarmelo. The view and outdoor area are 2nd to none in the town. Easy access to the beach, shops and a selection of great restaurants. Like a little oasis. We will most definitely be back!

La casa nos gustó mucho, es muy luminosa, tiene un bonito jardín, las vistas son preciosas y a los niños les encantó la piscina. La casa estaba muy limpia y preparada para recibirnos, todo fue muy cómodo. La casa es fresquita aunque sea un día caluroso pero además dispone de aire acondicionado. Está en una zona tranquila y al mismo tiempo los restaurantes y tiendas se encuentran a pocos metros. Nuestro anfitrión Arménio fue muy atento, al igual que Flávio. Pasamos unos días de descanso maravillosos y estamos deseando volver en cuanto podamos. Muchos saludos.

Lovely spacious villa, very well equipt with a stunning view. Perfect for relaxing by the pool or strolling to the beach. A warm welcome by the owner with wine,beer, fruit and juices already chilling on arrival. Probably the best view in Olhos d'Agua.

I really don't want to say how fabulous this villa is incase I can't rebook next year but it is a gorgeous property, beautifully designed and traditionally furnished. It really does have everything you need. The views from the garden are beautiful and proximity to beach and local bars/restaurants makes it ideal if you don't want to hire a car with local taxis plentiful for venturing to nearby Albufeira or Vilamoura. The delightful owner of the villa met us on arrival and was most accommodating even having everything ready for our earlier arrival. The pool was tended to regularly and inobtrusively by this gentleman too.

We have just come home from staying at this fabulous villa. We are a family of two adults and 1 child age 12. The villa was perfect for us, lots of space inside and a great view of the sea outside. We spent a lot of our time just relaxing by the pool and taking in the view from the sun loungers around the pool. The photos on the website do not do it justice. As you walk through the front door you are greeted by a huge four sided balcony that leads you around to the kitchen, 2 bedrooms 1 en suite, and another bathroom and living room. Looking from the balcony to the ground floor which is not part of the guest area there is a large palm tree. One of the doors also leads up to a large roof terrace that also looks out to the sea and over the pool. There is a bbq and outside electric bbq grill which was very useful. The villa is has pretty much all you need from all kitchen utensils to towels and toilet rolls. We could just walk 5mins down some steps to the beach and restaurants and shops. The supermarket is a 10 min walk as is the taxi rank. It was so relaxing and peaceful here that we will definitely be back next year for longer.

It would be easy to think thrifty and opt for a rental apartments in Olhos d'Agua however we urge you to pay a little more and book this exception villa that has the BEST views of the entire area.We'd never booked direct with an owner before so were a little nervous however you can book with total confidence as the owners are smashing people who will ensure your entire stay is glorious.We were drawn by the large private sun terrace and pool and this was the outstanding feature for us. You aren't overlooked which makes the outdoor living experience a delight and the views are perfect. We sat out with a beer every evening and just stared at the sea, listening to music from the impressive music system - what's not to like!The free (password secure) WiFi allowed me to address all my essential work emails etc - the connection works best by placing your device on the left of the mantelpiece near the router. Satellite tv has very limited UK however you can screen mirror your mobile onto the Samsung tv and use web apps, YouTube etc.The villa is outstanding and built on two levels (three if you include the roof terrace) The owners are rightly very proud of this build; their architect is from Marrakech and you immediately notice the elegant influence.A few minor snags that need attention but honestly, you don't notice them as the open space, comfort and stunning views will take your breathe away every day.We were met by the owner who has sufficient English to run you through the wifi, induction hob etc; a delightful chap who also attended discretely to the bountiful gardens and pool every other morning (early enough not to intrude but if you have a query, be up for 7.30 am and he's more than happy to help).There's a glut of storage/hanging space and a programmable electric safe off the main bedroom for your valuables. Shower heat and pressure are fantastic.Guests leave extras rather than taking them back on the plane(pasta, beers etc) and we reciprocated this as it adds to the welcome experience.The glass balcony panels ensure you receive an unobstructed view of the cove beach and sea but also is a fantastic wind shield - I literally sizzled for a week in September with temperatures in the 80s every day. This is when we decided that the pool is absolutely the crowning jewel of this gem of a place - who on earth wants a communal pool!We tried unsuccessfully to book as soon as we returned to the UK but it's a hot property so get in quick!
