The house was very cozy and beautifully updated. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we're in the area.

We stayed five days as part of the second leg on a 13 day trip to Maine. I had been in the Friendship area before and loved it. I wanted a good base for my wife and our dog to use to cover the area.
First the basics - the house was clean and reasonably well equipped for our stay. We cook, so we travel with less common kitchen accessories and that worked out well. The kitchen and den were very livable. There were three nice bedrooms upstairs - each with an air conditioning unit. The one problem with the layout is the bathroom was in the rear corner of the house on the main floor - the furthest distance possible from the bedrooms. That may or may not make a difference.
The kitchen, wifi, and television were all relatively new - and we had no issues with technology or using any of the related items. There was a washer and a dryer listed on the description. The washer was out of order and had towels and bleach from a prior attempt to run it. The dryer required the use of blue painters tape to keep the door shut so it would operate. This was a bigger deal for us because we were a week into a trip and had counted on washing clothes. We wish we had known so we could have washed clothes before arrival.
The location was good for exploration of the area. We made daily trips to Friendship Harbor and Wallace Lobster for fresh lobster. We bought fresh strawberries and jam from the small stand nearby.
Overall we like the house and would return.

All bedrooms are on 2nd floor. Might be important to update that for older people.
Lots of charges for cleaning but washing machine had a pair or dirty underwear in it, and lots of cobwebs & spiders everywhere. Yard wasn’t mowed until 2nd day & then was so long & wet so we kept tracking in & having to vacuum. Wish the path was clear to water since there isn’t anything nearby

The property was exactly as advertised. Very quaint and comfortable. Beautiful area with scenic roads in every direction. Short drives to many of the small communities in the area.
Overall excellent

This was a great location for our family wedding. Very clean and comfortable.

Getting to the property was a breeze and the way in you’ll find views of the beautiful cove. The property itself doesn’t really have a driveway and the grass was just cut so without any walkway or driveway you track grass inside the home. Nice to have to grass cut but drawback is sweeping constantly. The home itself is nicely updated but the outside definitely comes inside. I spent time cleaning spiders, ants, German roaches and ladybugs. The ladybugs don’t really bother any of us but the other pests were overwhelming having a toddler and pets. The home was well stocked in terms of the kitchen and bathroom. Drawback is bathroom is on the first level. The beds in the two rooms with single beds were comfy. The couch was not, very narrow and it’s in front of a beam which you will definitely bump your head on. Generally for a floor plan so small there is too much furniture in the living room. The house didn’t seem refreshed and cleaned as the floors, carpet, and hard surfaces weren’t clean as expected. The dog crate came in handy and was very convenient for pets. The power went out during our stay and we communicated with the hosts but didn’t get a call back until a few hours later. Grateful the power wasn’t out long. Neighborhood was quiet at night but the street was much busier than we expected. Also We were not expecting to travel all the way up to Maine and stay across from a flying confederate flag. Best part was Moody’s Diner and the drive to Rockland. Would not return.

We really enjoyed this house as it made a great jumping off point for exploring lots of the area but was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed a few nice walks in the neighborhood as well. It was nice to have AC as our last day was quite warm.

This house is completely done over and is very comfortable. There is a nice yard which is great since the house truly is dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Waldoboro. The home is charming, clean and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. It is a charming home and much nicer than how it appears in the listing photographs. The property is lovely with lots of room for our children to run about. It's a wonderful location to visit the many nearby quaint seaside towns and attractions.
When visiting, be sure to get outside on a clear night and look at the sky. The stars are brilliant without the usual light pollution many of us are accustomed to. I even saw a shooting star for the first time!
The hosts are responsive, kind and accommodating. They helped make our visit to Maine special and memorable.

The house was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed including A/C units when it was hot. Spacious eat-in kitchen , living room with big tv. The area is so fun to explore—small, quiet beaches, cute towns, great seafood. Loved going up to Rockland and down to Damariscotta. Can’t wait to go back again!.

We were very excited to be going back to Maine after 3 years of non travel. When I was researching places to stay we had decided not a hotel, motel, or resort. We wanted a more relaxed experience so a house was the place of choice. I can say we were very happy with the choice of places. The house was very cute and roomy, there were 4 adults in our party. The beds were a little different then what we are used to but comfortable. The kitchen was equipped enough for our needs, with all the dishes, pans, utensils that we required. The shower was a little disappointing as the water temp. was warm and never got hot. The BBQ was adequate but I would recommend the owner consider replacing it. The location was nice and very quiet but a little far out for easy access to attractions but good if you stayed in the area for fun. Entry into the house was easy as we receive an email with all the info a few days before departure. The only other thing I would say would be I wished there had been a path down to the water as there was too much overgrown bush to navigate. Overall we had a great and relaxing time in Waldoboro.

Clean, up to date remodeled interior. 3 bdrm up, 1 bath down. Window A/C in all rooms. Minor issue with flying bugs entering living space. About 25 minute drive to annual Maine Lobster Fest. Would consider again if staying in the area.

Great property with better than expected finishes. If you hike/bike there are multiple trails to hit up nearby. If you are here for beaches, lighthouses or restaurants, this is not the property for you. It takes at least 15 min to get anywhere resembling civilization, and tho it may appeal to those that want the tranquity and peace associated with that, this property was not well-suited for our trip.

This was a great stay for a long weekend with family. Home is spacious, furniture comfortable, very large yard on a quiet street. Not far from cute towns and waterfront. Be sure to hit Moody's Diner while you're here!

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet, comfortable and very clean home. The kitchen and bathroom are quite spacious with a comfortable living area that easily seats six. Bedrooms are private and comfortable. This was an off the beaten path, enjoyable property.

Absolutely loved staying here. Very clean and beautifully decorated. I love everything about this place❤️

Wonderful
We had a great time in mid-coastal Maine & while we didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, we certainly enjoyed it. Had to spend a good half hour cleaning spiders, insects & webs from most rooms when we first arrived, but that was a minor irritation.

Misleading as it was not waterfront but a nice property

Pleasant Stay
The house was clean and cozy with mostly new appliances, and we enjoyed our stay. My two recommendations for the host would be to have the lawn mowed; we found it long and tangled upon our arrival. This is not a big deal, but it does encourage ticks, as we found several on our dog over the course of the week. A newly mown lawn would go far toward alleviating the tick problem which the host did alert us to before our stay. Also the host might want to tweak the temperature on the shower water as it was luke warm instead of hot. All in all we enjoyed the property and our time there, and we would recommend it to folks looking for a quiet and comfortable stay on the mid-coast.

Great home for a traveling family
This is a wonderful home with lots of little extras and lots of room for a family. Three bedrooms upstairs two with air con. The only slight inconvenience is there is one bathroom and it is downstairs but it is large and has a window. The kitchen was well appointed. It is a little out of the way but worked for our road trip up the coast of Maine

Nice house
The house was very nice , however the yard was not mowed, I emailed the owner who never responded. I had to have the lawn mowed so we could enjoy the yard. Ocean front is a far reach as well. Is it worth 200.00 a night probably not. But the neighbor was wonderful.

Great home base to explore Midcoast Maine
The house was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Comfortable beds, air conditioners (we didn't need them), with 2 bikes and grill. We used the house as a base to explore the area, including Friendship (Walker Beach is lovely, as is the Walker Point Wildlife Preserve), Rockland and Camden (great shopping), Pemaquid Point, and Port Clyde (boat to Monhegan Island). We would definitely come back!

Pleasant Cottage
While the house was recently remodeled and very clean, the washcloths were very badly stained, the front door light was out. The sheets were flimsy polyester and the fitted sheet slipped off the mattress every night on the Queen sized bed. Easily correctable. It would also be helpful if a grab bar was secured at the bathtub for elderly and disabled guests to enter and exit the shower. Great house with lots of old features.

Quiet
House was clean and well equipped. I had overlooked this was a pet friendly listing and you can tell when you walk in - all of the soft surfaces (couches, rugs, pillows) smell like wet dog. We are not pet owners so the smell was very obvious to us, but luckily we had brought allergy medicine and we didn’t have any allergic reactions. Property is very secluded and the town in general is quiet. We enjoyed seeing the donkeys at the end of the road. This was a work trip for me that we turned into a long weekend away for our family. With young children it was nice to have access to a kitchen and space for our family, but it was a little far away from everything we were hoping to see.

Excellent house
Nice house, pristine clean, good beds, brand new appliances, large kitchen. We would definitely rent it again

The house is as described being a cape style home. 2 of my family members are over 6 ft so they would duck whenever going up the stairs and there was no problem. The house itself is clean, there were quite a few spiders inside the house but the house is also surrounded by woods so bring a bug spray and you'll be fine. Speaking of wooded area, my husband found 3 ticks on him after going for a bike ride, so be conscious of checking yourself, your children, and pets after coming inside. While this home is in a beautiful, relaxing area there is absolutely no diversity. Most people were friendly.

Clean and Comfortable Charmer but no water view.
Overall, this was a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. A few minor glitches but nothing of note. In the summer with the bushes and leaves there was no view or path to the water, which was disappointing The house itself was very nice, would gladly stay again.

We had an issue when we arrived that the owners quickly resolved. Unfortunately, we were not able to stay, but they gave us a full refund.

Wonderful Waldoboro
Newly renovated farmhouse located on a Mid-Coast Maine peninsula - a real getaway from the usual tourist filled locations in this area.

The house is nice but...
The home itself is lovely. It was well appointed and comfortable. Communication with the owner was perfect. I thought the waterfront listing is misleading. To me, waterfront implies a water access or view. You can walk a 1/4 mile down a barely bushwhacked path to get a distant view of water. On another note, I would be remiss if I didn't point out the issues with the town. Although this has no bearing on the owners, I would not have felt safe if I weren't white as the neighbors across the street were flying a huge confederate flag...in Maine! Also, close to a town hiking trail there was another property with white supremacy propaganda on the lawn. Honestly, I was not comfortable in town despite its beauty and what made our stay pleasant were the multitude of day trips we took away from Waldoboro. It's a town with strong political beliefs that are extremely apparent by it's ample lawn advertisements. As far as COVID safety, the main grocery in town (Flippers) eschews mask requirements where everywhere else we traveled, town included, we felt extremely safe with the precautionary measures taken. These are things I would want to know upfront if I were considering a vacation rental.

Overall great place
The property was as described. Clean and modern/updated. The location was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for, secluded! Everything we needed to cook was available as well as plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels. When we contacted the landlord they replied very quickly!
There wasn't any cleaning supplies like paper towels, spray for the counters, or even a broom for cleaning up the occassional messes in the kitchen. There were a lot of bugs so we bought fly swatters when we went to WalMart to get the other necessities for cleaning and storing leftovers. There was an animal in the attic, which didn't bother us because we could see the owner was trying because there was traps all over the outside of the house. There weren't any curtains so we hung up blankets to have privacy from the neighbors. The only other thing was the TV wasn't a smart TV, so we went out to by a Roku that we will be sure to bring on our other trips just in case.
What is above was a lot of little things, but any place would have little things. Overall this was a great location, owner, and vacation! I only mention it for the next guest.

Clean and new but living room lacked comfortable seating
Lovely place. Lacking in kitchen things like a pitcher, sufficient mixing and serving vessels, NO SPICES just S & p, no paper towels.
Bedroom were nice and bathroom was impeccable. Just needs some attention to details. But definitely a nice property.

Great getaway
The house is adorable. Everything you need in a home away from home. Huge yard and a pathway to the cove. Our kids and dog didn't want to leave. Hopefully will be back again soon.

Great clean property close to beautiful views of the sunset
We stayed for a week. Six people fit easily and there was plenty of room for everyone. Used the bikes and the laundry and both were great. We would stay here again and have recommended to family.

Lovely classic Maine house, Fresh and newly redone,
The house is beautifully renovated and furnished in a comfortable, stylish way. Loved the wild flowers surrounding the house. Within driving distance of Rockland, Pemaquid Beach and other Maine coastal areas. Really appreciated that my daughter could bring her dog.
