About this house rental

Renting half of oceanfront home , ON THE BEACH!. PLEASE : Click on the "contact host" line before using the "request to book" blue box to make sure your dates are available. Over 2000 square feet. Three large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Walk out deck on third floor master bedroom . Large deck that leads to sand and beach. Two zone AC, fully equipped kitchen , open plan on first floor large dining room table seats 8+. Strong WI FI to work/school at home and cable TV. Walk to major food store , bakery, restaurants and the boardwalk .Close but not too close. No pets , smoking , or groups . Linens are not provided. Also renting in the fall and winter with a a 2 night minimum. Please note the gas fireplace no longer is working and SUMMER (June, July, August, September) months have a 7 night minimum with a Saturday to Saturday rental term. We arrived to be greeted by Scott and his wife , they showed us the house it was perfect , room size perfect ,master bedroom very spacious ,full bathrooms on every floor , more then enough closet and dresser space. living room area and kitchen beautiful coffee pot and k-cup coffee machine full kitchen of glasses plates pot and pans .Now when you walk out onto deck u have your own beach fenced in so kids could run all over, we brought a volleyball net and pickle ball , Scott provides beach badges (6)and you are literally 30 yards out the back door on to beach .(side note Scott built this home its very well made ) .We grilled ,cooked in , and went out to many restaurants. And acme superstore is blocks away. just bring your beach chairs and your Sheets pillow cases , there is closet full of towels . (washer and dryer brand new) you have two car garage and spot out side so there's no fighting for parking . Scott thank you so much family had blast .

When we arrived, the owner greeted us and was very friendly. He gave us a tour of the house which was as described in the listing. It was a perfect house for the 5 of us. Very easy access to the beach, walking distance to pretty much everything we needed, and being at the end of the block, it was very quiet.

The accommodations were as noted in the listing. The location is immediately on the beach with great views from the 2nd and 3rd floors. Perfect low-key, relaxing vacation spot.

The house was clean and comfortable. As soon as we entered the house we felt like it was our home for the next few days. Scott was so very nice and accommodating. He answered every question I had and there were a lot. The house has everything f you would need and The views can’t be beat! My kids are begging to go back!

We loved staying at this beach front property. We had three adults and three kids, and having three full bathrooms was super helpful. Also, somehow no matter how many showers we took, we never ran out of hot water! Scott was communicative and easy going, a really fun host. We hope to stay again!

Beautiful home and short walk to the beach. The no linens clause was a bit tricky as some linens were provided and we didn’t need the whole package. Will need to ask better questions next time. Owner super accommodating and quick follow up. We enjoyed our stay.

I took my in laws down to the shore to look at wedding venues, scott was a great host start to finish, he gave us flexibility with check in and check out times, and was a pleasure to communicate with. The views from the 2 bedrooms were fantastic! It was so easy to get on the beach. I love this home and it was such an easy experience. Do not miss out of this gem!

This house was in mint condition. Smelled new and clean walking into it, it was an outstanding first time experience renting a beach house. The ocean views were breathtaking. We are so pleased with Scott's property. It was a pleasure meeting him and his wife. I def recommend.

We visited in October, so the beach was delightfully deserted. The house is quite new and constructed with very nice materials. It was wonderful to have a garage for our use. The view from two of the bedrooms was unobstructed ocean! Scott was a great host. The neighborhood was quiet. Only 9 miles to the park. We will definitely be back.

Family of four, including two young children (age 9 and 6) and my in-laws. We stayed the week of July 24-31 and had a fantastic vacation. The house is an ideal location with real ocean views, modern amenities, including two car garage for parking. Wonderful eat-in kitchen, open floor plan, etc. We loved the very short walk to the beach. Walkable to nearby restaurants. Had trouble starting the grill and Scott was immediately available to help. We love the Ortley Beach / Lavalette area and now having stayed here, it will be hard to stay anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Scott's home was beautiful. The open concept living area was a big plus for our family of 5 adults. All three bedrooms were oversized with plenty of closet/storage space. The view from the master bedroom was fantastic. We enjoyed being able to see and hear the ocean all day and night. Thanks for a terrific vacation.

The home is absolutely beautiful! Right on the ocean and close to all amenities, including attractions for younger kids. Breathtaking views of the sunrise. I stayed for 3 weeks in May to be close to family nearby and enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The house is roomy, modern, well-stocked, clean and safe. And it’s a plus having the owner next door - I barely saw him except when I needed him - and it was so helpful to have him close for those times. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone.

House was beautiful and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking from every floor of the house. Such a great change of scenery from our day to day. Exactly the rest and relaxation we were looking for. Owner was accessible when needed and great to talk to as well.

We had such a lovely stay here in Ortley. The views are unbeatable, especially the view of the ocean from the bedroom! The short walk to the beach made for such a relaxing and convenient getaway. The house was very clean and filled with anything that you need. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance to do so! We hope to be back soon!

This house is everything the pictures promised - amazingly close to the beach, easy walk to the Seaside Heights boardwalk, perfectly cleaned, comfy beds, strong WiFi, good TVs, great kitchen for cooking.We spent much of our weekend stuck inside (thanks to an ice storm) but still loved every second of being right on the ocean.

We generally do not like to rent duplexes, and we were a little concerned that the owner was next door.... anyone with these concerns should throw them out the window. Scott is a wonderful host & it was if we were in a single house. Beautiful location, nicely decorated house, we recommend it highly.

I loved the ocean front location where I could see and hear the ocean waves from any of the three bedrooms and also from the third floor deck. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and all the modern appliances worked great. I hope to return next year. Scott was very available to help with any questions and when I accidently locked us out, he quickly came to our rescue. Thanks!!!

Our family rented a 3BR/3BA three story house (plus ground floor parking 2 spots) from the owner "Scott" for end of July. We stayed local NJ due to Coronavirus to avoid plane travel this summer. The house has 2 halves --a mirror section is where the owner lives but it feels like 2 separate properties. The owner fully respects privacy and you engage with him via cell/text or "in person" if you want. The house is right on the beach with great views from the 2nd/3rd floors. Nice kitchen and main room plus a deck with full table/umbrella that would fit 8 people. You also have your own back-yard (plenty of room) that backs up to the dunes. Access to beach is via public walkway right next door. With CV, we felt safe/secure albeit right in the middle of everything. Scott was a pleasure to deal with--so if you want an stress free rental you can't go wrong.

Beautiful, clean home, great location, awesome views of the ocean, loved everything about it, my daughters and grand daughter loved it too. Can't wait to come back, for a longer stay!!! Scott was very friendly and helpful.
