EXPLANATION of pricing policy: The base rate for Frontier Cabins includes 2 guests. Additional adults and children are $33/person/night. Maximum occupancy is 6 adults and up to 8 if at least 2 are children under 12. Additional guests up to the maximum will add to the nightly rate at $33 per person, per night with a minimum of nights equal to the requirements of the booking regardless of the nights stayed. Charging for the size of the group makes it fair and affordable for smaller groups. "Babe in arms" do not need to be counted in your guest count, but please add them to the lease agreement. For example: Frontier nightly rate is $299. If you have 2 guests the cost stays at $299. If you have 5 guests, the rate is $299 for the first 2 and an additional $33 for each guest over 2 for a total of $99 added for a total rate of $398 per night. If you have 8 guests the rate is $497 per night. We have this pricing in place so that groups of 2 are not paying the rate of $497 per night that the larger group would pay.

Frontier cabin was beautiful and everything as advertised. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and the hot tub. Great location. Owner was easy to communicate with. Our son loved the foosball table. We look forward to hopefully staying with them again in the future.

We were a short distance from Hocking Hills & loved the cabin nestled in the woods! The temperature the days we stayed was in the 90’s, but the canopy of trees made the time much cooler! We had all the amenities we needed for the stay & it was beautiful, clean & well maintained! Our grandkids ages 8 to 17 said they liked our stay better than our usual stay at Cedar Point!!

Nice cabin, good location. First time stay in Hocking Hills area. While cabin was very nice the stairs to each floor were a bit steep and the seating was limited inside & on the front decks. Firefly lights in trees at night were amazing. Group age was +65.

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend away. Everything was perfect. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Everything we needed was there. We brought food to cook so we would not have to leave to eat. I think there are restaurants within 20 mins. We took 1 day to explore Hocking Hills. Short drive there. We'd definitely stay here again.

The cabin was nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The stairs however are brutal. Persons with handicaps probably won't be able to maneuver them, and you have no choice but to use them if you want to get to the living areas. Good cabin for young people but not us older folks!

We had an amazing time in the Frontier cabin. There is a bedroom and a full bathroom on each floor, which was perfect for our trip with 3 couples. The surroundings are so serene and quiet. The house was clean and welcoming. We used the hot tub and the fire pit after days of hiking. The extra fridge downstairs was so convenient.

Our stay in the frontier cabin was great. It felt secluded but we were close enough to drive to all the Hocking Hills attractions each day. The cabin was a perfect fit for our family of four. My husband and I took the main floor, my teen daughter took the top and teen son took the bottom. They were thrilled to each have their own full bathroom. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening after hiking in the mornings, grilled out for lunch, roasted hot dogs and made smores at the campfire and stayed up too late watching Netflix. The games were a big hit too.

My wife and I stayed in the cabin for a long weekend. It was a wonderful and secluded weekend. The cabin is located close enough to everything we wanted to see in the park yet far enough out to be very private and quiet.

This cabin was amazing for a girls weekend! The property had plenty of space, giving us each our own bedroom and bathroom. Lots of places to sit and relax - a great front porch, raised deck with rocking chairs, back deck, fire pit and hot tub! The fire pit was large with plenty of seating and we loved the projector lights on the trees outside, it was so special! The hot tub was huge and really clean and we used it quite a bit. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfy - great kitchen and dining as well. It was also super close to everything we needed, 10-15 min from all the major hiking trails we wanted, the town with food, winerys nearby etc. Wonderful stay!

This was a great cabin to spend the weekend with friends. The location was close to all of the hiking trails and yet still very secluded. We spent hours around the fire pit and in the hot tub with a brand new deck! The Roku TV was great for watching anything that we wanted to watch and the furniture and beds were very comfortable! From the moment we drove up to Frontier Cabin we knew we had found the perfect location for our family gathering. Nestled in the woods, this cabin features 3 levels, each with its own bedroom and bathroom offering privacy for our 3 families. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals, the island was great for setting out food and the living/dining area was so relaxing with big windows to watch the outside while sitting by the fireplace. We loved the hot tub and really appreciated the Welcome Book with all the instructions for proper care of the cabin and its amenities. Each room is decorated so nicely, all the beds were super comfy and the cabin was spotlessly clean. We all had the BEST time and hope to be back again!

This was the perfect cabin for our girl’s weekend for 4 of us. It was in a great location close to Old Man’s Cave and hiking. It had a great layout, we were very comfortable and had plenty of room with 3 floors and 3 full bathrooms. The cabin was spotless and tastefully decorated. It was very quiet being well off the main road. We loved sitting on the front porch off the 2nd/main level enjoying our coffee in the morning and lunch between hikes. The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

We booked this as a first time scouting trip of the area. The location was absolutely perfect because we were close to the state park and hiking trails but also close enough to town if you forget something. The cabin was very clean and they provided easy contactless check in via timely email. They had family friendly games…a great way to unplug and reconnect with each other. We cooked primarily on the grill that was provided and over the campfire. We used the hot tub briefly…there was an issue with the upper jets that the owner was aware of and they did confirm that it occurred right before our check in so they were putting it in the fix list. Everything else was in good working v order. Kitchen well stocked, but a pizza pan would be a great addition because the cookie sheet wasn’t wide enough. Thank you for a great stay…we have already referred some family members and will be back again!

I liked this place and the owner was kind. Unfortunately, the internet was dropping constantly (not the owners fault) and previous guests didn’t leave the place as clean as I would have liked (once again, not the owners fault). I tried to leave the place better than how it was left. Honestly, I wish I could have stayed another day or two to take advantage of the items provided.

I can’t say enough how wonderful this stay was. As a 10 year veteran of staying in the Hocking Hills, I can say this was the best yet and we will return. Evelyn is kind and caring and the cabin was well maintained and clean. (I’ve stayed in some dirty cabins). Top notch and definitely a cut above.

Our family had such a great time at the Frontier cabin. We were so comfortable and everything was clean and kitchen utensils and appliances were well stocked with what we needed. We loved a late afternoon soak in the well maintained hot tub after a long day of hiking. The kids loved the fooseball table and we played a tournament every night. Perfect place to celebrate a belated family Christmas! Cabin was decorated beautifully for the holidays and was clean and well stocked. Each couple loved having their own bedroom and bath. Plenty of space for family games and gift exchange around the fireplace and Christmas tree. Large hot tub on secluded back deck was perfect spot to watch the snow fall and spot wandering deer. Would love to come back in warmer season to enjoy fire ring and outdoor games. Only suggestions would be to provide softer bath towels(ones provided were sandpaper rough) and some type of shelving in bathroom on main level for guests to place toiletries. Thanks for making our Christmas re-do memorable.🎄We will be back!
