Spider webs all over house. Porch and outside of windows and inside in some areas. Chairs were broken for two of the dining areas. So not enough chairs for us. Low water pressure and little hot water for showers. Such a nice house but needs some upkeep

First of all, this home is gorgeous! Absolutely stunning. We loved everything about this house, from the layout to the decor. Was very roomy, and accommodated very nicely our group of bridesmaids. Kitchen was furnished with everything you could think of. We really loved sitting on the back patio with outdoor fireplace every night! Large screened in back porch was also a plus. I would definitely stay here again if the occasion to be in the area came up.

Excellent stay! House is beautiful with so many extras. Wish we had longer to stay!

We were in town for a wedding. There were plenty of beautifully appointed bedrooms for our family to stay. The home is conveniently located near stores, restaurants etc, and yet is in a rural area that provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Was the perfect place for our trip!

We enjoyed staying here and hope to do so again. There was plenty of space for multiple activities with seating for everyone. The kitchen is huge and well stocked for cooking at home.
We had a minor issue with the hot water and it was promptly addressed.

We had a super stay in Raleigh area. The home was beautiful and conveniently located.

This house was perfect for our family while attending a nearby wedding. It was spacious, beautiful, and had everything we needed!

Absolute splendor! This home wrapped its arms around my vision for my 60th birthday gathering with family and friends. From rising in the morning and having coffee on the Oversized screened in porch- watching the horses gallop and hearing nature sing to evening falling and filling this beautiful open floor plan home with laughter, joy, smiles and happiness..I could have not asked for more! The host were very attentive when I needed to contact them. The house was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen and pantry if you forget anything! I will DEFINATELY plan to gather here again!

House was great for our large group.
We had a few questions during the stay and management responded very quickly.
Highly recommend.

I live in South Raleigh and was planning for 10 family members to travel in for a reunion weekend in Sep 2023. I decided to find a large VRBO for them to stay together and make the time spent so much more personal and lovely for them while here (most for first time in NC). This house was so amazing and a PERFECT place for them to all come and stay together. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy eating, lounging, and just reconnecting. They loved the huge backyard area and outdoor fireplace, large screened porch, oversized kitchen, many large eating spaces and tables. And of course they enjoyed watching the horses in the back and the crew of chickens and rooster visiting the house each morning for a quick bug hunt. 5 Star Stay!

We had a group of friends visiting for a wedding. The house was large enough for everyone to stay together but have their own space. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

This is probably the nicest VRBO home we have stayed in. It was clean, spacious and conveniently located. The soap and shampoo in all the bathrooms was a nice touch. The backyard patio was amazing, but the grills need some help. I would definitely stay here again.

We had family members from OH, FL & CA come together for our family in Raleigh, NC. Perfect location with beautiful outdoor space. We are in NC often and will reserve this vacation rental again.

What an awesome place! We had friends and family come together for a weekend. There was plenty of room. It is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous inside and out. It had EVERYTHING you could possibly need to entertain for a party. The grills needed some serious cleaning before we could use them. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. I would definitely return!!

First family reunion in many years, so it was great to be with everybody and in a house that allowed plenty of warm spaces to gather and also to read or vegetate. The owners provided plenty of utensils, pots, pans and accessories.
We loved the fireplace outdoors, and we barbequed, listened to nature in the morning and enjoyed watching the horses and roaming chickens. Just an absolute delight.
The owners provided hotel-sized soaps, shampoos and body wash if you forget yours, which was a thoughtful consideration!
Make sure you bring the larger (8-12 cup) basket coffee filters and your own coffee or K cups as there were both types of coffee pots.
The house was clean and the bedding smelled fresh. Would stay there again.

This place was home away from home. The pictures online does not do this home justice. Very spacious and the rooms were nice. The kitchen was huge and had everything and more. This is a nice place to relax and spend time with friends and family. Oh. The horses are beautiful.

Our family was in for our nieces wedding and this house was perfect for us. Lots of space throughout the entire house. Large kitchen area and back porch and back patio area is awesome. We sat out every night by the large outdoor fireplace and laughed a lot. Enjoyed the horses in the property behind us and every morning we had some special visitors in the front yard, some large chickens and a rooster. Our grand kids loved this. House was well stocked in the kitchen and beds for the most part are comfortable. Location was great and close to down town Apex which is a cool place to go eat or shop. Totally enjoyed our experience and would recommend renting this place to anyone and if we are back in this area with a large group we will rent again.

The house was very roomy with many areas for people to "do their own thing". The backyard porch and huge patio space were very nice. That said, the screen porch needs cleaning the heavy cob webs all over it. The grills were all very dirty and they looked like they needed some work. We chose to just not use them, but that was disappointing. The washer had a rug in it that was still wet from previous rental and the rubberized backing was crumbled over the inside of the washer. There were no washrags in bathrooms or kitchen towels. There was hand sanitizer, but that doesn't clean BBQ sauce off your hangs well. This is a really nice rental, it just needs some TLC.

It was a great place to welcome people for a joyous event (not on site - don't worry, we didn't have an unauthorized party.) Spacious, lovely outdoor spaces, large rooms. So glad to be there.

Wonderful House/location but poor communication
Just about everything about this rental home and location we’re great! The house exceeded our expectations and accommodated our family/extended family perfectly! Couldn’t have asked for it to be any better!
BUT the communication with either the owner/property manager was sub-par to say the least. We did not get our door codes/info until I contacted VRBO directly and spoke to them for over one hour en route to the property which is 9+ hours from my home. To say this put stress on us is an understatement. I reached out to the host 3+ times prior to leaving our home and did not hear back at all. So we hopped in the car for our trip and prayed to the VRBO god’s everything would work out in our favor.
Upon arrival, everything went smooth from there for the most part. . Plenty of space, plenty of amenities and the town of Apex and Cary are great!!
I’m not complaining about simple things that arose….I get that things happen with every day occurrences. There are a few simple fixes, imo, such a a few plumbing problems, (backed up kitchen sink literally upon arrival, toilet overflowed and tbh, a new frig/with a working ice maker would be great!).
I am a vrbo host/owner myself and I ALWAYS contact my guests 24-48hrs before arrival. That’s not too much to ask imo.
I did privately contact/text he property managers after we left and still, to this minute, NO response. Such a shame.
But, everything worked out for us so don’t let this deter you from staying in this beautiful home if you’re going for a long weekend.

The house was amazing! Clean, well stocked kitchen, beautiful yard and easy to find.
Only suggestion would be they communicate with renters a few days before arriving and that they make sure everything works before guests get there. The issues that did arise were taken care of and we had a lovely time. Would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again!

Beautiful property
Very beautiful property and secluded location. Very peaceful and quiet. Accurate description of bedrooms, kitchen appliances ect. Great for a big group of people as it gives everyone their own space. The outdoor area has great potential to definitely utilize some newer furniture and correction of the screens on the outdoor patio would be amazing to keep the bugs out. I would definitely stay at the property again. The property management team were quick to respond to any questions very reliable and worked with me closely to have the property work for our needs.

Had a little trouble getting the entry code but once we got inside, the house and location was perfect for a golf trip !!!

Family vacation
Wonderful place for a family vacation! Spacious, beautiful property, away from the city but quaint shops and cafes in downtown Apex. Number listed on VRBO is incorrect and it was initially difficult to reach the property manager via message regarding questions but persistence pays off. Craig, the owner, was great following up. Everyone was pleased with the place! I would consider returning on future holidays!!

Secluded, spacious. Good for our golf trip group. Did have some items need repair as well as aged kitchen utensils if you need that.

Sons wedding
This is a grand home on a beautiful property with a front porch and huge screened back porch. It is made for entertaining. I chose this home as the homebase for my sons wedding. We had a couple of issues the first day and management handled them quickly. When I reached out, they responded. The flow of this home was perfect for what I needed to support my son and the family that flew in from all over the world. A surprise was the freezer in the garage to hold bags of ice. That being said, a little TLC would push this property over the top. The grill has propane but is coated in mold and did not heat up enough to burn anything off enough for me to feel comfortable using it - ended up moving steaks to the stove top. The kitchen is a chefs kitchen but could use some organization. The screened in porch is beautiful but numerous screens are damaged and we had to assist a couple of birds to find their way back out. There are beautiful lights strung inside the porch but bulbs need to be replaced. The mattresses are fine. This property is beautiful and could be top tier with a little attention. Overall the space gave us what we needed and the location is beautiful.

Just big enough
Our family doesn’t like to be crowded into a space so the expanse of this house and the area around it was perfect for us. Bedrooms are located so the snorers didn’t bother anyone but their partners.
The kitchen’s roominess allowed for multi preppers to work together.
Couldn’t have imagined anything better!

I was surprised by this property. I will admit I did not do my usual research on the property. I have always had good luck using VRBO in the past. This was a house with a few pieces of furniture sprinkled inside. All outside appliances were not usable. The nice built in appliances (outside) were all disconnected or lying in rubble. The portable BBQ grill was so dirty it was not fit for use. Outside chair cushions had mildew or dirt that did not invite a person to use. Screen porch had several holes or patch holes from repairs. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans that were heavily used and, in my opinion, unusable. Luckily several of us had brought a few pots and pans. We had to use paper plates and cups, as the house did not provide enough dishes for the number in our party. Ice maker was not working properly. We had to scoop ice from inside the freezer. Door handle to the freezer was swinging free. It became easier to use our ice chest with ice bags from town. House sits off a busy street. Basketball goal was broken. We experienced roaches in the master bathroom. Master bathroom electric outlets were not working. Finally found the switch in a hall bathroom to reset the electric outlets for master bath. Sink in hallway dripped continuously. From the look of the sink it was an on going problem. The dinette chairs in the kitchen had missing feet rests in some of the chairs. The kitchen does not have a garbage disposal. The flat griddle cook top had heavy use and was need of replacement. I would not return to this property for a future family reunion. We all came together for the first time in over 1 1/2 years, so we made the best of our stay.

My 4th Visit to Buckhorn in Apex
It was nice as always, I know the kids had a great time as my daughter turned 5 this year, we didn’t use the beautiful back area, some cosmetics and upgrades are needed thru out the house, my favorite space is the kitchen and back porch, a lot of trees so leaves were everywhere, however the home was spacious, clean, and as always fun. The children had a great time! I sent my honest communication to Mr. Craig and he was great with responding, don’t park on grass was his only request and I was trying my best to keep everyone off grass, however moon bounce vendor just had to drive on grass OMG!!!! However I was honest, and felt so bad…
I also think we forgot something, and awaiting a response on that , due to us Ghaving to leave early on Monday wish I could stayed longer just to relax for a day. I hope that You support this host, it’s a nice area, private, quiet and definitely my go to spot when I need my family to come together.
I only wish I could have gotten professional cleaning done before checkout as I always do, just couldn’t find a good cleaning person one this trip, Thanks Mr.Craig for everything I always appreciate your home your understanding , response time, and kindness! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rented this house for my daughter and her bridesmaids. It’s a beautiful location as was only 15 minutes from the wedding venue. Weather was beautiful and there are huge outdoor spaces they enjoyed!

Luxury stay
We had a small gathering at Craig's place. It was well stocked, clean, easy access, and fast communication. I recommend.

Cold
Checking in was easy, plenty of space. The only major problem we had was the heater up stairs didn’t work. We’re from Florida and the outside temperature at night was upper 20’s to low 30’s, making the temp upstairs 62 degrees. The 1st night family slept on couches and chairs downstairs, not the way we wanted to start off our stay.

december Wedding
We had a wonderful family holiday, and celebrated our son's wedding at this wonderful home. The owner had decorated it for Christmas which made the stay even more festive, and the wood burning fireplace made the family room a cozy place to stay. Our only complaint was we could not get the upstairs heater/thermostat to work so kind of cold for those staying upstairs.

Wonderful Property and Wonderful Host
This property and our stay was fantastic. In addition to the amenities described in the profile there are many unlisted pluses. Our favorite was the picturesque view of the horses behind the property. There was plenty of room; plenty of towels, bedding, etc. and the host was very accommodating. We highly recommend that you consider a stay at the Williams Manor. We certainly will the next time we're in the area and need to a home away from home for our crew. Thank you Craig, BriShonna and staff for a pleasant and memorable visit.

We used the house as a homebase for our bridal party. There was plenty of room for all to sleep, the kitchen was ample and the outdoor seating area was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it for other groups.
