When you rent this condo at the Shadow Mountain Yacht Club, you'll be enjoying the best of what Grand Lake has to offer. Only a flat grassy lawn separates you from Shadow Mountain Lake for kayaking, paddle-boarding, or to test your angling skills. From the condo, you'll enjoy amazing panoramic views of Shadow Mountain Lake and the alpine peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park! From here you can take a leisurely stroll into downtown Grand Lake. Right outside the condo, you can toss the frisbee or enjoy other yard games on the massive lawn area. You can even roast some marshmallows over a lakefront fire - the list goes on and on!
The Shadow Mountain Yacht Club has a great location that is close to downtown as well as the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. You can be either place in just a few minutes. The condo itself has a large open concept layout which combines a nicely sized kitchen with the dining area and living room. Best of all, you'll have lake views from the entire space. The kitchen has loads of storage, upgraded tile, and stainless steel appliances. There's bar seating for 4 and a built in wine rack for your end of the day reward. The dining table is round to encourage family dining or board game fun. The living room has a large leather sectional sofa set up perfectly for you to enjoy the large HDTV, fireplace, and gorgeous views! You might find the living room's covered deck to be your favorite part of the property. It has sweeping views that you'll really appreciate as you start your day with a cup of tea or coffee.
The master bedroom is a pretty good size. It has enough space for a beautiful King size bed complete with 2 nightstands, a dresser with HDTV and mirror, and a reading chair. The room also has a double closet, an en suite private bathroom, and a private balcony with lake views. When you wake up in the morning or lay down for an afternoon break, you'll have a hard time not staring at the lake and mountains. The second bedroom has 3 Twin beds and a Double bed, which makes it ideal for a second couple, a group of kids or singles, or a mix of couples and singles or kids. This bedroom has an adjacent full bathroom that is also accessible from the main living space.
With all the fantastic outdoor activity options available for summer and winter guests alike, a Grand Lake property wouldn't be complete without access to a washer and dryer. This condo has a very large laundry room with newer high capacity front loading machines, so pack as light as you like. This is lakefront living at its best. Inside of condo clean and neat, but the hinges on the cabinets creaked like fingernails on a blackboard. Also the stairs and walkway to the condo were very dirty and run down. The sheets on the bed in the master bedroom were clean but looked to be extremely old as they were thin and pilled in areas.

We loved our stay here. The host was great at communicating and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The place looks just as described. The lake is gorgeous and coffee on the deck with the view was amazing. The state park entrance is a couple miles from the condo and there is a gorgeous waterfall near the lake if you’re up for a short hike! We will definitely be back!

This was our first time visiting Grand Lake and we couldn't be happier. The town was wonderful, the lakes were beautiful, and the condo was just what we needed. We had 7 in our group (Me, my wife, our 3 teenagers, and my wife's parents. My wife and 2 kids slept in the 2nd bedroom and we gave the master bedroom to my in-laws. My oldest boy slept on the couch and said it was comfortable for sleeping. We also brought an air mattress in case we needed it. The condo had everything we needed. I reached out to the owners on several occasions and they were always quick to respond and very helpful. This condo was in a great location for us and me and my boys love to fish. We walked out back everyday and fished right beside the marina, catching both rainbow and brown trout. The condo was close enough to the local market that on several occasions I rode my bike to pick up a few items. The separate balconies were great which allowed for my in-laws to sit outside if they wanted a little more quiet time to themselves. We took advantage of the fire pit and cooked Hobo dinners and smores one evening. The condo is equipped with a new high efficiency washer and dryer which made doing laundry a quick chore. I couldn't believe how fast the clothes were dried. Again, thank you to the owners for being so helpful and for providing such a great place to stay. It definitely made our trip even that much more enjoyable.

The place was perfect for us. Perfect location and the view from the condo was wonderful. Caught 4 rainbows near the condo by the bridge. If we are able to get back to Grand Lake wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks

This condo is spacious with beautiful views. We had a relaxing and quiet weekend. The condo was clean and the king size bed was very comfy. Our only complaint was we could not find the place. We had to call the local rep for help. Later we realized our arrival instructions did not include a unit number, just the main address. So, before you go, make sure you have a unit number!

Excellent rental on Grand Lake. Morning coffee views from the balcony were amazing! Access to the water was great. Loved the fire pit one night. Unit is somewhat outdated, but not to a fault. Super clean and VERY comfortable! Roomier than I think the pics represent. Only 4 stars on the check in process only because the instructions were texted and I was watching for them via email. Once we got that straightened out it was super

Great stay at this property. Nice accommodations and good location. Upon check-in we noted towels and bedsheets have not been changed. The owner was horrified with this and immediately contacted the cleaning service and it was rectified within an hour. Great recovery! Great stay!

The pictures did not lie. First trip to Grand Lake. Fairly close to downtown, but quiet enough to feel removed from it when we felt like it. Easy access to a variety of hiking trails in RMNP. We would definitely return to this spot!

The condo has a well stocked kitchen, better than many other rentals I’ve stayed in! The beds were comfortable. The main balcony was good sized, and there is a second smaller one as well off the master. There was good WiFi for streaming as well as cable.
We had a great time and saw 2 moose in RMNP! (Tip go early to see them- 6:30/7am)

We love this complex it’s our second time to stay. Condo had everything for a home away from home. Loved watching the snowmobiles come and go on Shadow Lake and of course the mountain view’s are awesome. Book now you can’t go wrong with this condo.

Beautiful, well stocked condo in a quiet location with paved streets. Everything was exactly as described and pictured with one small exception. While downtown is within walking distance for the hale and hearty, it was a bit far for this older low lander, (8300 ft elevation) and there is no side walk all the way so you would have to walk on the busy street. Lots of room, comfortable bed, FULLY stocked kitchen, laundry room in the unit, and my favorite part was the beautiful view. We had one small “ hiccup”. The coffee pot was broken. I let the management team know and a brand new one was delivered within 2 hours! Just one heads up - The condo is the middle unit in the building and requires going down 7 stair steps from the parking lot and then 7 steps back up, so it is not accessible for wheel chair or those who can’t do stairs

Mountain vacation
Everything was great, we would definitely stay here again! Comfortable beds, hot showers, spacious living area, well stocked kitchen, beautiful view and the whole place was spotless and clean ! Grand Lake is a cute little town and perfect spot for exploring RMNP.

Great Place!
The condo was perfect for our stay in Grand Lake. It was very clean, and the whole complex was quiet and family oriented. Check in was easy, and we would definitely stay here again! It was also the perfect place to stay for the 4th of July - great view of the fireworks with no crowds!

Nice and Quiet in Winter
We chose this property because of the views. They were great! It's close to the restaurants and shops in town. It's a nice spacious condo. The beds in the spare bedroom were a little firm for our taste, but there were five of them! The kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry room was great too. We were literally minutes from the RMNP. It was a great place for us to spend a nice quiet spring break in the mountains.

This was a awesome property that worked perfectly for our annual ice fishing trip. With close access to the lake and a fully equipped kitchen it made cooking easy. And getting on the lake even easier.

Perfect spot / Great owners
This was just as listed ! Everything we needed was either already in the condo or just a short distance away . We drove from
Florida and was there for the winter storm. The property owners let us know it was fine to stay after our checkout date to ride out the storm and travel safely back to Florida. The condo was clean and well stocked. We loved the small town and less touristy vibes!! Highly recommend if that’s what you’re going for .

Wonderful way to spend the Christmas Holiday!
We came up for 5 nights over the Christmas holiday season to celebrate with our son and his fiancé. She bakes and we needed to know what we might need to bring in the way of kitchen/baking items. So I called the owners. Catherine was on her way unit and as a result of my inquiry stopped to buy a couple of baking sheets. We arrived to find a fully stocked kitchen, lots of teas and spices, all the serving wear one might need for a holiday dinner and more!
Thanks Catherine for the extra effort! The place is comfortable and well-appointed. We loved our stay and the beauty of the surrounding area. We’ll be back.
