Prachtige locatie, heel aangenaam verblijf!

Een prachtige locatie aan de oevers van de Loire. De manoir is zeer mooi, zeer bijzonder gebouw helemaal opgetrokken in witte natuursteen, heel authentiek. Je lijkt te verblijven in een kasteel. Een prachtige tuin, zeer goed onderhouden. Zeer gastvrije gastvrouw en gastheer. De kinderen vonden het heel fijn dat ze het grote zwembad voor zich alleen hadden.

We hadden verwacht 2 kamers met volledig uitzicht op de Loire te hebben. We waren van mening dat we die hadden geboekt. Helaas maar 1 kamer met volledig uitzicht. We hadden in plaats daarvan een kamer met een keukentje, wat heel handig was, zo konden we fijn eten op het terras.

Schönes Herrenhaus mit sehr guter Ausstattung

Das sehenswerte alte Herrenhaus liegt am Hang knapp oberhalb der Loire, insbesondere von unserem Zimmer ist der Ausblick toll. Von. Die Zimmer sind groß und nett eingerichtet. Das Frühstück umfasst neben dem Üblichen selbstgemachten Joghurt, sehr guten Orangen- oder Apfelsaft, Honig, Müsli und Obstschale. Der Pool ist schön und nicht vom Haus einsehbar. Daneben steht ein Holzhaus mit Küche, Büchern, Spielen für alle. Handtücher für den Pool werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Gastgeber sind Engländer, Verständigung ist daher einfacher als nur mit Französisch, sie sind äußerst reizend, sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal da, ein weiteres ist gut möglich.

Nur Kleinigkeiten: Von der Straße führt abrupt ein steiler, gewölbter Weg zu den Parkplätzen vorm Eingang, das ist nichts für tiefliegende PKW. Die Armaturen im Bad sind dem Haus entsprechend in guter alter englischer Art, d. h. zwei Hähne für Kalt- und Heißwasser, das ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Knarrende Dielen gehören dazu. Das Doppelbett ist nur 160 cm breit, eine breitere Bettdecke wäre da hilfreich. Pool liegt am späten Nachmittag im Schatten.

Jane Austen-Feeling für einen Tag

wunderschönes jahrhundertealtes Herrenhaus in Alleinlage direkt am Ufer der Loire. Etwas verwunschen gelegen in einer schönen und gepflegten Gartenanlage mit beheiztem Außenpool hinter dem Haus. Die beiden Gastgeber Sue und Jez, ein Paar aus England, waren äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommenden Gastgeber (Kontaktaufnahme und Hinweise vor Anreise über booking.com-app) Eine kleine Führung durchs Haus und Garten und anschließend einen frisch gebrühten Tee (oder anderes Getränk auf Wunsch). Sehr geschmackvoll renoviertes und eingerichtetes Zimmer im Stile des Anwesens. Frühstück am nächsten Morgen serviert im Kaminzimmer (Joghurt und Konfitüren aus eigener Herstellung!). Großes Lob an Sue & Jez, was Sie hier machen. Es eine Freude, bei Ihnen zu wohnen und wir waren traurig, nach einer Nacht schon weiter reisen zu müssen.

Absolut keine Beschwerden, was nicht gefallen hat, nur zwei Hinweise: Bei der Auffahrt, die etwas steil und kurvig ist, muss man ein wenig aufpassen Das Haus liegt allein. Fußläufig keine Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeit!

Great location, beautiful house, great hosts, would love to return

Great location, great base for cycling, beautiful house, setting, ambiance. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the facilities were great including a lovely swimming pool. Sue and Jezz looked after us very well. The breakfast was lovely, homemade yoghurts, fruit, lovely breads, freshly squeezed orange juice. We had breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the Loire. We would love to return some time.

Relaxing place with the warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We loved every moment there! Perfect location to explore the historical sites, very clean, and beautifully decorated rooms. Rooms are spacious from where we had an amazing view to the river Loire. Friendly owners who are making you feel comfortable and very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and we all loved their homemade yogurt. There is an amazing garden. I spent some time there listening the chirping birds. Relaxing!

Welcoming and peaceful stay

The house is renovated and decorated to a very high standard, and set in a beautiful location with gorgeous views from our room, the sitting room and terrace. Delicious continental breakfast with some homemade offerings. Extremely comfortable bed.

Bliss

The location, the property and the hosts are out of this world. Sitting in the window seats looking out on the Loire just takes away the incentive to go out and do anything. Peace, perfect peace. And the homemade breakfasts on the terrace are simple but sublime.

The only thing not absolutely perfect was the WiFi, which could be a bit iffy. Maybe dock them half of one % for that, but who cares when everything else is so good.

Absolutely loved and we all want to go back again.

Pros - everything, location is beautiful on the Loire, beautiful rooms with everything we needed, delicious breakfast with homemade jams yogurts and croissants. Also great outdoor space with woods, a field, a pool in warm weather. Really wonderful. Thank you.

Everything was fantastic ! The room and views were exceptional . Breakfast was so good with Sue’s homemade yogurt and Granola and the best local bread and croissants . Our room was stunning and huge with a sitting area that we will dream about !

The breakfast was wonderful! The best part was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Also, the property provided some fun walking around. The Manoir itself was absolutely beautiful!

We loved everything about our stay. Our room was very cosy and had a great view. Sue and Jez are wonderful hosts, very attentive and are always there to help their guests. We enjoyed the breakfast a lot, Sue and Jez serve delicious home made yogurt (among other things).

A perfect stay!

There are not enough superlatives to describe how beautiful Manoir de Beauregard is. Perfect location overlooking the Loire river. Perfect hosts. Beautiful and charming house with the guest lounge in a huge corner room overlooking the river and valley. Breakfast was plentiful, served on the outside terrace in the early morning sunshine, overlooking the river. Even the restaurant they recommended the evening before was perfect. Will definitely be returning and can’t recommend it highly enough. Can you tell that we liked it a lot!

Beautiful and romantic chateau in front of the river

The chateau is amazing! We've had a great view from our window to the Loire River. Our room was big and very confortable. Location is perfect! We've had a delicious breakfast in the morning prepared by the hosts. They were really nice and also gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby.

We've had a great room and bathroom exclusively to us but we understand not every room has a private bathroom. Take note and ask the hosts before booking if this is a concern to you ;)

We hope to stay there again!

We loved everything. The rooms are super quiet and very elegant, but also really cozy. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful (best by far for a very long time), the garden and pool were beautiful, the latter with perfect temperature for swimming and playing. Our kids loved the place too. Our hosts made us feel really welcome.
