Great property with all the amenities you need. Owners have it set up to enjoy yourselves.
We counted over 100 Bear figures/pictures/carvings etc in the house and had a game counting them.
I read that people complained about the walk from the parking lot to the home. We I needed to walk off the good food we ate, so no problem for us at all.
Only detractors.
1. Deck boards/nails need attending too around the Hot tub, easy to hurt yourself with exposed nails/loose boards.
2. Front door code was changed before checkout so, good job someone was still in the home as we were packing up. Property manager stated is was automated, so no reasonable answer would/can be given as you can link Checkout Time with automated Lock Change time.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times for the views out of the front and back patio. We love it.

The property has great views, is clean and has everything you need on hand.

We had a great time here. Property was clean, comfortable and we loved the hot tub and fireplace. Location had great views and close to slopes. We were there during a blizzard with 70" of new snow so chains were a must to get up the street to the parking area.

What a great place to stay in South Lake Tahoe. The only thing knocking this from a 5 star is that the hot water was an issue the whole time. We could only get sustainable hot showers in the downstairs bathroom, only. Once we figured this out, this place was great. The pictures don't do the true views of Lake Tahoe and the Nevada valley justice. They are excellent views and the hot tub has a great view of the lake too. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well set up. We had a ton of snow on our trip, so be aware of the really long walk on the deck to get to the place and know you may have to shovel yourself out. But that's a Tahoe issue for everyone in the winter. The management company is great. As I said, this is a 5 star place if the hot water issue wasn't too strange.

Wonderful view, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. House is more than 120 yards from the parking lot….it was not shoveled the entire time we stayed here. I called manager to clear the ice dam that was blocking front door, which they refused to do even after I calling to tell them I fell and broke my ankle.
My husband ended up shoveling the walkway, three times. There is a terrible neighbor who yelled at us in the parking lot two days in a row. On our last day, he threatened to hit my husband with a ski pole.
On top of the ice damn and no snow removal, the front deck was covered in dog poop. I asked the manager if they could clean it up, which they refused to do. We paid more than $10k for the time we rented this property, so hopefully you can understand our frustration. We will definitely NOT be back.

We would like to say how wonderful our stay was. Magnificent views and such a warm and delightfully cozy home. Home is exactly as described. All the comforts of home in a peaceful setting. The management office was extremely efficient and courteous. Home is in a quiet community setting. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return.

The property is absolutely stunning. I loved being up above and away from the crowds down along the south shore - it felt like truly a mountain getaway. The only feedback I have would be to make it clear that the walk to the unit from the parking lot is very far, and includes several sets of up/down stairs. It would be nice to alert folks who are coming and have a lot of stuff to possibly bring small dollys or ways to more easily carry their things. People in my party were not used to the altitude also, so this was a difficult journey for them. And be prepared for lots of stairs in the 5 level home. Also, I would re-arrange the living room. Right now the sofa has its back facing the most amazing view, and is facing the TV. I would flip the room around so can stare at the amazing view from the couch inside as well as watch TV (if that's what you wish to do). Otherwise - fantastic property - I would def stay again.

Excellent Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was perfect for my husband and I and our adult children and their partners! The home had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous views of both the valley and the lake!

House was nice but too many issues
Yes, the views at the house are magnificent but with all the issues I would never go back
1- broke screen door - off tracks when we entered which I fixed
2- didn’t have the games as advertised in the pictures
3- video game remote controls didn’t have batteries which I reported day 1 and 3 days later the batteries were never replaced
4- one of the stairs on the exterior of the home was loose. We realized this as one of the children with me stepped on it and it fell off (which could have results in a serious fall and injuries). Reported this issue day 1 and again nothing was done as of the time we left 3 days later
5- the games in the game room were a mess with the guitars and boxes or games on the floor.
6- hot tub was not hot and the controls didn’t work to allow to adjust the temperature. Additionally if you turned the jets the water shot out of the hot tub and onto the house and deck
7- house is advertised as pet friendly but to take the dog to the bathroom you need to climb over a few rocks with some broken glass to get to the small dirt patch for dog use or walk the long trek to the parking lot
On the upside the inside of the house was very nice although the layout was bizarre the views and size were nice. Just wish the management was more responsive to concerns especially the serious issue with the steps

Lovely Stay
Really nice property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Only a few negatives…get a lock box, having to go to the management office to get and return the keys wasn’t convenient. The walk from parking is about 120 yards but we knew that so just be prepared. Lastly for the price of the cleaning fee, I shouldn’t have to take out the trash. Other than that we were very impressed, you can tell it’s been remodeled and has very cute and homey feel. Communication with management was excellent.

great south lake stay
I love views. This townhouse has stupendous views from every window. Two of the best sunrises I've ever seen. The mountains are majestic. It was fun playing the grand piano in the living room. It's a trek to the house and it has five levels.

Incredible views
This views and quiet of this place alone are good for the soul. You really can’t beat the sunsets and sunrises. We got to watch the moon go down over the lake on our last morning. Breathtaking. It’s also away from the noise of Tahoe which is what we needed. Market is close by and free snow play is close too! Lots of exercise from the stairs and getting to and from the house. Great hot tub, cozy vibe all around. Our 10 year old loved it.
Now for the challenges:
The cost for cleaning of this unit was sticker shock and almost caused us to reconsider. After getting there and finding a less than immaculate spot I was even more surprised. Housekeeping is a hard job, no disrespect to them but the cost isn’t justified.
The layout of the house is bizarre, no bathrooms on kitchen or living room floor, and be prepared to hear the person above you if you are on the bottom floor.

The views are what you pay for.
This is the second year we have rented this home and we came back for the beautiful views and the hot tub. However, we found the house to have more cleanliness issues this year (dishes, bedding, floors) , and the refrigerator broke mid way through our stay. The property managers were not able to repair it, leaving us with spoiled groceries and nothing to cook for 1/2 our trip. It was disappointing that the management company could not resolve this MAJOR issue and were unwilling to compensate us appropriately. This property has some good attributes, just needs some TLC. Rates should be adjusted to reflect an older rental.

Loved the house & location. Lots of outdoor space , just fully fenced off for my dog. The house had everything we needed and lot of space.

We got our steps in!
We came here for my daughters 10th bday. We had to check in at an office on the way to the house and received a nice little goody bag which included a bottle of wine. Yes, the walk from the parking lot is VERY LONG and we had a lot of stuff so that sucked. Yes, the views are stunning! The hot tub is right outside the front door and it over looks the lake and the sunset. The house is laid out funky. Bottom floor is a bedroom, next floor...a bedroom....next floor...a bedroom...4th floor is living space and lastly, top floor is the kitchen. Kitchen has been updated and does not match the rest of the home. It is also hot up there and there is no cross breeze. Several outlets did not work. Lots of kitchen supplies, pots, pans, bowls, glass wear, silver wear, coffee maker, a Keurig and what not. The living space has an amazing deck that overlooks the lake. I wish they would put a nice patio set out there. Just some camping chairs for now. Rooms were spacious and comfy and the shower was amazing! BUT...bottom bunk of the 2nd story room smelled strongly of urine. There was a cot and a blow up mattress which we used because no one wanted to sleep on the "pee bed". The Bear Room does not have an entrance from inside the house which was unfortunate. Its located downstairs from the hot tub and you need a key to get in each time. For those of you bringing your dog/s...we were told at check in that the neighbor is afraid of dogs so if they are outside they must be on a leash at all times. Also...there isn't much of a space for them to relieve themselves. The space that is there...right next to the hot tub, is mostly rocks and there was some broken glass laying around. So, yes, this place had amazing views and other than the pee bed, it was clean and comfortable. Note...no AC. I agree with what another reviewer wrote, it was too expensive. The fee from the owner AND Lake Tahoe Accommodations was outrageous and I would not pay that amount again to stay here BUT...it was nice while it lasted.

Incredible sunset views
Truly enjoyed our 3 night stay. The house was clean and very comfortable and that view is amazing!. Having that balcony off the living room was perfect. We ate breakfast and dinner each day just enjoying the lake view. It's the perfect place to be at sunset each night.
Plenty of space for my family of 5 (kids age 12,13, 18).We were there the first few days of the heat wave and had upper 80's Temps during the day so kept the blinds and doors closed during the day to help keep the heat out . Some additional fans would have been great during the night . We weren't comfortable leaving the sliding doors open at night because the screens didn't have locks amd every bedroom sliding door is easily accessible from the steps/deck especially the kids bunk room . Other than roasting at night which I understand isn't the norm for Tahoe we had a great stay here and would definitely book the house again.

Amazing View
Very nice place. Only issue was a dishwasher that did not work and a broken gate. Other than that it was a great stay. Nice and quiet with great views on both sides.

Unreal views
The property sits atop a mountain with one hell of a view. The hot tub placement was key to enjoying this. The unit is a journey to get to however, and if you enjoy stairs, this place has them! That being said it’s clean and unit is functional for a stay. We enjoyed it and plan to come again!!!

moms 82 birthday
thie house was beautiful but it was not very clean and we had to hunt for the grill rack and it was thrown in with a bunch of repair work materials that were left on the balaconies and the buttons marking are off we had to look up on the internet the directions to use it, Also there was a weird smell in the house we could not get rid of. the views are beautiful but the price is high and you get charged by VRBO and tahoe accondamtions for the same things and you have to p/u and drop off the keys at there office. it is a nice place it you keep your expectations down

Beautiful Views and very secluded!
This property was very nice, but the views were amazing! We read through all the reviews and were prepared for the potential negatives...like the stairs and the long walk from the parking lot. As many others noted...it was worth it. :) It had a great Bear Cave with video games and we greatly enjoyed the hot tub!

Views, views views.
This home was a cozy place to take in the beautiful lake views. It was comfortable, and offered views of both the lake and Carson valley. We loved the private hot tub, and it felt secluded. Several items were missing, such as dish soap and laundry detergent, dish scrubbers, etc that should come stocked to make the home more amenable for longer stays and cleanliness. Also, to access the home there is a long walk with stairs from the parking lot, so be prepared if you have ski gear, groceries, etc. Not for those with limited mobility. Overall, great home and we really enjoyed our time there.

Heavenly Hideaway (for real)
This a great place, well appointed, very comfortable and well maintained. It is cozy, yet there is plenty of space for two families, improving an already great value. Everywhere you look is like a post card from the multiple balconies looking East and West. You can have a coffee with the sunrise and a hot toddy with the sunsets that will take your breath away. At night the stars take over and you get transported to a place before time... AND THERE IS A TELESCOPE!!! The stores, slopes, and casinos are a short drive away, along with endless miles of hiking/biking all over the area. Not even to mention the rich history of the region... The surroundings are pleasingly quaint and serene with an old world touch that is fading away in our ever changing modern world. Time slows down a little here and breathing relaxes as every turn is a picturesque look back into a time when nature is at its most pure. You can't help but feel better about the world when you come here, and want to be better yourself. You will want to be better to the world and want to get in touch with nature a little more remembering what life is all about. As so many things are uncertain, if you are in a rut as so many are these days, come here. This place will give you solitude and recharge you, sending you home with a sense of purpose to make the world a better place. Heavenly, yeah, I'd say so...

beautiful home
We loved our stay, the kitchen was very well appointed. WE didn't realize the property was so fairly far of a walk from the parking so arriving late in the dark, with an elderly mother with snow/ ice on the ground was a little nerve wracking with all of our luggage but we survived. The home is well thought out, great amount of games/ puzzles and plenty of gorgeous views. Lots of stairs so consider this with mobility limited visitors. We had a great stay for Thanksgiving!

Last week of warm weather 2020
Awesome. Be prepared to climb plenty of stairs when you rent is place. The kitchen has recently been upgraded and is very nice. The views from this place are unparalleled and unforgettable! The 7500 foot elevation takes some getting use to, bring lotion and lip balm. The beds were a little on the hard side for our tastes, but the only negative thing I can mention.

Amazing views and cozy vibes
This unit was absolutely incredible to stay in. The 5 levels really gives everybody their own space and the common areas are spacious enough to have the whole group together. The hosts really went out of their way with attention to detail and cleanliness. The hot tub outside was definitely the highlight of the house. We will be back for another stay this was absolutely a perfect location.

Hidden gem near the slopes
This was a great property for our 5 person party. The property itself is situated on a high point with views over the central valley from one side and all of Lake Tahoe on the other. The sunset from the hot tub was the perfect way to cap off a great day skiing.
There are no assigned parking spaces, so parking was a little tight at points, but this was not an issue. One item not listed in the description is that the property is located about 500 feet from the parking area, so be mindful when planning to bring any heavy items that must be carried. The house also has 5 floors, and I would be difficult to navigate for anyone that struggles to climb stairs.
Overall it was perfect for our needs and I will certainly look here first the next time we take a Tahoe trip.

South Lake Tahoe duplex unit
Beautiful location and great lodging, with outstanding views of Lake Tahoe and Nevada. Property managers were very helpful.

Fabulous views and great location!
Views were unbeatable, and the place was very spacious for four adults and our dogs. The hot tub with a view is as good as it looks in the photos. I was a little worried the condo complex would be a zoo over July 4 (solely because there are a fair number of units) but it was pleasantly serene the entire time. I never heard any neighbors.
The checkin/checkout process was easy, and everything in the unit was self-explanatory.
The unit was well stocked with cookware, barware etc. For food items, future guests should expect to bring cooking basics like olive oil and condiments etc., which we had done. Also, there were only two portable deck chairs which was not a problem for us (we had brought camp chairs) but just FYI.
Overall, five stars all around and highly recommend!
Over all, highly recommend
