Wondeful and friendly place in the forest yet close to Gothenburg city center

The nice and green location might also be a downside. From the public train its a 15-20 mins walk uphill while the last 200 meters are unsuitable for a rolling suitcase.

The house is old so squeeky floors and you can hear all the noises from other rooms. We got quiet neighbours so no worries though.

Just a lovely place!

We had an amazing time at Torpet Mon. The Hosts were very lovely and helpful with our citytrip. The house is nice & romantic, the room was very beautiful & cosy, the surrounding was quiet and in the middle of beautiful nature next to the forest (there were chickens in the garden and deers passing by). The breakfast was excellent! There was a lot of (selfmade) bread, fresh eggs from the chickens, pancakes, juice, coffee and tea, a variation of fruit, cheese, cereals and the best jam... perfect! Everything you can wish for (and we were asked if there are any allergies etc.) We parked our car safely and visited Göteborg via tram, which station was like 15/20 minutes walk away (we bought our tickets for the ride via app). The ride took us about 15 minutes to the middle of the city. I wish we could have stayed longer and were planning to come back to this beautiful place! Highly recommended if you like unique places.

Great!

Room was very unique and the location of the hotel is absolutely beautiful and calm. Mikael (host) is very kind and service-oriented. There aren't many rooms so it feels a bit like home and not like an ordinary hotel. And breakfast is indeed very good!

The bathroom was a bit difficult to handle as it is small and the interior special so it took some time to figure out how it works :-)

Exceptional

Torpet Mon is a very lovely place! Charming old wooden house, nicely furnished. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything here is done with love like heating the fireplace in the breakfast room, wildflowers on the table, decoration in the rooms, etc. The location is just perfect for a city trip that doesn't feel like one.

We were happy with everything. A few things are just good to know: the house is old with stairs to climb. Rooms are small and not sound-proof. Anyway, it is a great place!

An amazing, relaxing time.

I loved everything: the house is charming, the breakfast room is cosy, and the breakfast was delicious. I travelled solo and booked the single room, which had everything I needed. The house is ideally located for early walks and longer hikes in the forest, and quick and easy trips to the city or to the islands. A big thank you to the host Mikael, for all the great recommendations and for making my stay so relaxing.

The bathroom was a bit small and it wasn't easy to get rid of the water after a shower. Not a problem for a couple of nights, but maybe less comfortable if you stay there longer.

Cozy, peaceful and wonderful......

Extremely cozy and peaceful house. In the middle of a large city, but feels like it was deep in the woods. All we could hear at night was a little stream, that ran through the garden. In the morning, a deer was grazing in the backyard. Great breakfast. Definitely going back. Room a little small and not many facilities, but we knew that when we booked, and the B&B and the stay was exactly what was described and what we wanted

The countryside B&B as a perfect alternative to Hotels in Göteborg !

Excellent breakfast, mostly home made (bread for instance) ! Great variety of choices, and super nice lady to welcome you ! Wonderfule countryside surrouding, "at home" feeling in this cosy B&B

Really ? Nothing ! Well, OK, maybe the cock who was a bit out of step, singing at 3am in full darkness, but isn't it also part of the charm ?
