The house was nice and worked very well for my family and I. There were five adults and 1 teenager that stayed for four nights. The house was spacious and the air conditioning kept us cool during Alpine's summer heat. We did find that two of the advertised queen size beds were not queen size, they felt more like full size beds. They weren't very sturdy or comfortable. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay.

We book this house twice a year every year. We have always found it clean, neat, cool and comfortable. We love the screened porch for coffee in the morning. All our information got to us early. We highly recommend staying here.

The property was great and in excellent condition. All of the bedrooms were fairly well sized and there was plenty of room in the main rooms as well. The host was courteous in all interactions and both check-in and checkout were straightforward with very reasonable expectations before leaving.

Four of us on motorcycles stayed here for three nights as a home base for rides to Big Bend NP and the River Trail. The house is roomy, comfortable and clean, and located right in the center of town. We walked to nearby stores and restaurants, and the covered carport was big enough for four big bikes with room to spare. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were visiting family in the area. This vacation home is in the heart of Alpine, convenient to everything but still very quite neighborhood! It has everything you need, spacious rooms, screened in porch and wonderful landscaping! My great nephews spent 2 nights with us. They loved the 2nd living area with games. We will definitely rent this property everytime we visit!

We had a great time in Alpine for the Spirits of the West Festival. We were able to walk easily into town. House rules are EASY and simple check out requirements. Would stay here again.

From check-in to checkout our experience was wonderful. The place has a relaxing feel and extremely spacious! The photos don’t even do it justice. Our family really enjoyed the screened in porch and the game room as well! Great location, with everything in town only two minutes away. The owner was very gracious and helpful. We stayed at the house in late March. Beds were comfortable and the home is in a convenient location. Everything was more worn than it appears in the photos and the house needs a good deep cleaning. Oven was not working.

We had our reservation for two years and had to postpone last year’s stay due to the extreme weather. So, it was very concerning that we did not get our entry code until we were standing at the door of the house. The owner’s phone # on the VRBO site was incorrect! Thank goodness customer service was able to connect us with her and finally get the code. The next morning we saw that the code message was sent 10 minutes before midnight after check-in ! I will still use VRBO but insist in getting the code before we leave home!

House was lovely and just as pictured. We cooked several meals here and hung out in the backyard around the fire pit! Very close to everything in town and an easy drive to Davis Mountains SP. The owner was easy to work with and responded extremely quickly the 2 times I reached out. We will definitely stay here again!

Best time in Alpine!

This was our third visit to West Texas and I think our favorite so far. The house was cozy and perfect for our 2 families to share. Best place to ring in ‘22! Everything was within walking distance to the center of town and driving to Marfa, Marfa lights, and other sites to see couldn’t have been easier. I hope we can book the house again when we go back to West Texas for another getaway!

Just a thoroughly enjoyable 4 night stay. Looks and smells fresh and clean. Loved the screened porch for morning coffee. The yard is immaculate. Plenty of room. Cooked some meals there and had all the dishes we needed. Have already booked for another stay.
