I can’t say enough about just how wonderful our stay was in this beautiful condo. The view, location, and amenities were outstanding. I was also very impressed with the host, always making sure we had everything we needed and were happy. I can’t wait to come back!

The property was totally dark when we came in, unable to turn any lights. Switches that did not produce any light or did not work, windows blocked by hurricane shutters, etc. Upon arrival, the property had a funky smell, it felt humid and hot... at least the A/C should have been left running to avoid discomfort. Presentation is a ZERO. Closet doors in the kitchen/laundry are open and inoperable. The overall look at the house was dirty. Cushions were dirty, stained, smelly, not inviting. The fridge developed some moisture in the outside of the door. Presence of mold was not only found but it was visible. ALL the ceiling fans are in the same frequency, therefore, you turn one one and ALL of them turn on... you turn the light on in the living room and the light in the master comes up, this is very inconvenient. The drawers in the dresser (master bed) have mold, smell so bad, unable to use them to store my close. While taking a shower, I soon realized that you either burn your skin as the water is beyond hot or you simply had to put up with cold, I mean, COLD water... there is not middle ground here for a "warm" shower. Extra towels would've been appreciated, just a single set. The living room is super hot. Sliding doors didn't lock. They slide harder than usual and sounds in need of grease or repair. This place is definitely not worth what I paid for.

We bought our son and his friends to Puerto Rico to celebrate his 15th birthday. The condo was great, the view was more than amazing to the ocean and marina, super great pools and very close to everything you can want and need. Carlos will respond in seconds and is an excellent host. Thank you Carlos for a great place to stay and we will be back for sure! Ron & Nicole

The good: We absolutely loved our stay in Puerto Rico. The condo was lovely and a very good value for my family and me. The owner was very kind to have his brother drop off chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. The property was clean, the beds comfortable, and the view of the ocean was amazing. We felt very safe in the gated community. It was quiet and the grounds are well maintained. Puerto Rico itself was just wonderful! The condo is very close to everything in Fajardo and El Yunque. The not-so-good: The hot tub was cold the whole time we were there. Apparently, this is an ongoing issue. The only door to the condo swung shut from the wind and went right through the molding and trapped us inside. This happened twice and the first time almost made us late for an excursion reservation but we managed to use some tools we found to get ourselves out. The second time we were unable to get out for well over an hour. It was very upsetting to think of what would have happened in a fire or if we were in a rush to get to the airport, etc. The owner was very dismissive and told me to "relax". He knew this had happened before because he gave me a vague warning in a text about "being careful" with the door, but didn't fully explain about the door getting stuck. He installed an eye hook behind the door to keep it open which really isn't helpful as it's a security issue. If he knew there was a problem, he should have just installed something to slow the door close or another solution. The security guard had to come and bust the door in to get us out and he ended up injuring himself and bled all over the floor! He also said this is a problem with the units at the building and the owners are encouraged to fix the door swing. It was a little too much drama for our last night there! The kitchen could use some basic spices (salt, pepper, sugar, garlic, etc) and was missing some kitchen basics such as a cookie sheet. The bathroom bidet was dripping from the piping so we couldn't use it. Some minor updates and repairs would really make this place a little nicer! I tell this not to discourage anyone from renting this place. Overall, I still give it a good value and thought the owner was a nice guy. I am writing this just to hold him accountable for fixing the door so other families don't run into the same problem or safety issues. Just make sure the issue is fixed before renting.

We arrived at the property really late and got lost.. (GPS error) but the owner was extremely accommodating and had someone meet us to take us to the apartment. The property was perfect for our needs. We all fit comfortably and the view from it was amazing!! We were not able to enjoy the apartment complex amenities due to not enough time but they were beautifully kept. The pools were clean and inviting. The complex is very secure with a guard at the gates. We would definitely stay there again if we have the chance. The town of Fajardo is lovely!

The apartment is in a great location with beautiful view very clean. Carlos, the host is one of the best host I have worked with. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10. Thank you Carlos.

We enjoyed the pool very much. This apartment has an espectacular view. The owner is very attentive and easy to reach out.

The complex is very safe, the location is perfect with easy access to restaurants, marina, beaches and rivers. You can search in the web the many tours that this area of PR offers including El Yunque, Las Tinajas, Bio Bay and boat/catamaran to Palomino Island, Icacos and Cayo Lobos. The apartment has a beautiful view, perfect infinity pool (one of three, but due to Covid you can only use the main pool, and you will need reservation) and was very clean.

Beautiful property, clean in a nice neighborhood, very responsive and easy communication from the very first day day with its owner, who went to the airport at 11:00 pm to hand me the key.

I have wonderful time with my family. The VIEW was the main attraction in this apartment. How ever read carefully before you stay. Because of covid 19 restrictions pool and Basketball courts are not available. Also if you planning to have some family over or spend time with friends this will not work because there is no visitors allowed to this apartment. The price could be a little high keeping in mind you don't have the full amenities because of covid 19. If you want to lay down and rest after a full day outside this will work. You can fixed 8 with no problems. Kitchen have all that you need to cook for the Family. And like I said ... you can beat that view.Carlos was very respectful and professional. He definitely know how make you fill warm.You can make this a 5 star staying if you add a bigger TV and another TV for the main room. Also I will throw some free wifi service.I think this will be a perfect place to stay when covid 19 restrictions are gone.

My family and I loved our stay at Peña Mar Ocean Club! Carlos was great, very hospitable and only a phone call away. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed and then some. The view is spectacular! This place is great for all groups of people whether you're planning a relaxing or busy vacation. The complex has all kinds of amenities you can enjoy and is only a short distance from many other attractions in Fajardo. If that is not enough, you can drive less than 10 minutes to catch a ferry to Culebra or Vieques islands! We had an amazing few days!!! Would love to go back!

It was amazing....great location, my friends from Denver enjoyed our stay very much..the pictures posted does it justice and then some!!! Will come back !!!
