The kitchen features granite counters and the main floor features hardwood floors and dramatic lake views from the expansive windows. A beautiful stone fireplace sits at the center of the huge family room where you can take in lake views while relaxing by the fire. Arrowhead Lakes is close to Pocono ski resorts and the area features year-round opportunities for swimming, fishing, kayaking, skiing, and more. The options are endless. The home is conveniently nested on the larger 260 acre lake in a perfect lakefront location within the Arrowhead community. The lakes are stocked with bass in-season! The Arrowhead Lakes community is conveniently located near 940, 115, the PA Turnpike, Mt. Airy Casino, Camelback, Jack Frost/Big Boulder, Kalahari, Knoebel's, the Crossing Outlets and the charming village of Jim Thorpe! This gated community features two lakes, four beaches, three pools, basketball court, tennis courts, volleyball, playground, and a spectacular lodge featuring a stunning reception/entertainment area, outdoor eating area, fitness center, craft room, library, media room, billiards and more. Mandatory fees apply for use of the community amenities listed above (see below for details).

Mandatory vehicle registration fees of $20 per stay and community amenities fees ($6 daily for each guest aged 6 and older) apply and are paid separately, shortly before your stay. Community amenities include beaches, three pools (open during Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend), basketball court, tennis courts (outdoor), volleyball, playgrounds and the lodge. An additional one-time $35 processing fee is applied at registration. Info to register is sent around two weeks before your stay.

Important to note: Guests must provide linens (sheets and towels) or an optional sheets service is available separately after booking.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and quiet lake, without motor boats. We enjoyed floating, kayak and canoe trips. The amenities of the community are available and we used the pool, tennis courts, and the game room. The house is spacious, with a good gathering space and game area and plenty of beds.

My guests loved the amazing view and comfortably stayed in the house. The place was clean and worked well. Pete was responsible in communication. There were so many things going on in the community. My family would love to come back to the house!

The highlight for us was the view and the hang-out room…the arched ceiling accented with wood planks and the beautiful fireplace overlook the lake that gets all afternoon and evening sunlight. Master bedroom was huge and can easily fit a queen blow-up mattress in there as well if you need additional/alternate sleeping arrangements. We were only there for two nights and it was cold so didn’t use the yard so can’t speak to anything there. Pete was great to work with and answer any questions we had beforehand, as well as during our stay. Great stay and great property.

Wonderful week in the Poconos!

Wonderful week in the Poconos!

The house has a great layout and was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 young children. The lake is so peaceful and serene. We enjoyed access to the canoe, the grill, and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Enjoyed Boulder View Tavern for a nice dinner out! Highly recommend for a vacation with family!

What a great week!!!!

My family (6 adults, 5 children) had an amazing week. Pete is so responsive to any/all questions. The house was beautiful and very well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Being lakefront and having the kayak, paddle board, etc entertained my family for the entire week. Fishing off the dock was a huge hit!! The firepit was well used. The children used the pool and the adults did stand up paddle boarding (a very reasonable fee). We highly recommend this home!!! Thank you, Pete, for sharing your home with us!!

We had a very relaxing week at Pete's lakeside home. We loved the open layout of the main floor with lake views from every window. The house was very spacious and neat. There was plenty to do - fishing from the private dock, kayak, canoe, pedal boat. We would definitely return.

We had a wonderful weekend away in Pete's lake house. We loved the beautiful open layout of the kitchen and living room, which was great for our group being together (8 adults and one infant). We also enjoyed the boats and the firepit at night. Pete was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed before, during and after our stay. Only negative is that for the price of the house, the outside area could use some improvement in terms of landscaping and better deck/patio furniture. Other than that, great stay! Would highly recommend.

Ski trip in the poconos

Location was close to Jack Frost Big Boulder. Wish Walmart was closer (25 minutes away). We had 18 people (5 children, 13 adults) and we had enough space to lounge around and hang out. Unfortunately the bathroom doors don't lock but it was fine. We just told our group that if the door was closed, someone was inside. It snowed while we were there and the view was amazing! Pete allowed us to check-out late so we were able to eat our lunch and head out. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay for a few families, with lots of space for the kids and grown-ups to have to themselves. Plenty of bath rooms and right on the lake!

Great lakefront property

We had a great time at this beautiful mountain house. Its in a great location (close to pool, beach and entrance/exit) and has awesome views. It was very clean and modern. We had a large family stay and had plenty of space, the bedrooms were great too. The owner was exceptional to work with, responds so quickly. The only minus was the overgrown grass/weeds that took over most of the backyard and edge of the lake. Overall, I would recommend this house to anyone. We would love to stay there again.

Very spacious house with great Lake view. The bedrooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Kids loved the game area with the pool table. The owner was exceptionally nice to work with. I would definitely recommend this house

Loved the location! Close to everything. Great place for family. 6 grandkids under 6....something for all. Immaculate! Plenty of amenities and the owner was super helpful and always available. Overall great experience...my family wants to do it again next year.

We had a great time!

For starters the owner is a gem. He communicates very well and is accommodating. The house has beautiful views of the lake. Two of the four bedrooms are oversized offering plenty of room. We were a party of 15 and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for all of your cooking needs. Checking in was easy. The house could use a little paint but for our needs it was more than fine.

The property was perfect for our large family vacation! Plenty of space, large bedrooms, 3 full baths! While it does need a little updating, the new owners have made improvements that were great for guests, such as new mattresses, a new large sectional couch and plenty of seating! I would recommend this for a large group or family!

Great location with plenty of space

We stayed with four adults and 5 children. The location is great, a short walk to Beach 2 which has a playground and basketball court. You can also make a longer walk to the Island Pool which is great for kids, and has a playground as well as tennis courts, or take a short drive to get there. The house is lake front with a nice beach area and dock - the fishermen in the family enjoyed fishing off the dock. We found the home had plenty of room. The three floors were very nice and allowed for the family to spread out and the downstairs with the pool table was great for the older children and adults. The home has new owners who only purchased in the summer, so there are a number of things that need to be improved/repaired with the home. We figured out how to work around them/deal with them, but would suggest that future renters ask about these items first. Also, for those new to Arrowhead Lake, it is a private community, so would suggest understanding the rules/regulations/fees prior to renting. Overall, we had a good trip, the seven year old “loved everything about it”.
