There was a cockroach in my room which ran under the bed, bathroom smelt like damp/mildew and the sink was rust. The door to come in was very loud and despite my room being at the end of the hall I could hear it. Lots of banging from upstairs residents

Would have a lovely stay in different room

Stayed in the stork room. Great location, close to the train stations. Air conditioned room. Comfortable bed. Decent size room and bathroom. Shared kitchen and communal area which was clean

The was a TERRIBLE smell coming from the bathroom, smelled like a drainage issue. Looking at previous reviews this has been an ongoing problem that hasn’t been fixed. There was mould on the ceiling in the bedroom and in the shower, the towel rail was covered in rust.

Booked. as location on map was not far from port. Although parking available outside it didn't appear to be a safe neighbourhood so parked in front of hotel around the corner. Coffee pods provided for machine located on shared first floor kitchen but they were undrinkable. Luckily , at this time of year the place was not full but noise reverberates when people are about in corridor (just woken twice during night). There was what seemed a nice patio area outside to sit but received a message that door was not working properly and could get locked out if door not prevented from closing so didn't venture out , and anyway didn't have a nice coffee to risk having a drink there ! Place was all combination locks for main entry and door for room (however doors themselves didn't appear to be that robust so could be a safety concern also). TV was on wall but would need to be a giraffe to watch it from bed position

I enjoyed my 5 day stay here. Loved the town and the friendliness of the people.

The house was nicely decorated and loved the small courtyard and outdoor areas. The shower was the best ever.. the door didn’t close properly and so the floor became wet after each shower. The kitchen was ideal with fridge and microwave and a small terrace. Always very clean and neat and tidy.. Parking was easy in a vacant piece of land opposite.

The room was on the ground floor on the street so the shutters needed to be kept closed for privacy.

Did the job for one night on our way to the airport but definitely not what I expected.

Easy Check in and comfortable bed

Very thin walls, so we heard the person next to us who was up all night and sick. In the morning someone turned on the hall light at 6am and that also blasted into our room. Bathroom was a bit smelly as well and the parking seemed a little unsafe so we parked around the block in a different location.

Room was clean and nice, there was kitchen in 2nd floor and also small garden.

Door from our room was quite thin, could hear some sounds from main hall. Location is fine, but surounding buildings are bad, but within few mins you get to better street so not so bad.

The bed was comfortable and it is close to Setúbal center and catamarans. They gave us two coffee capsules

The room doors didn't close properly. The street where it is located looks abandoned, not very friendly.

Overall a great place to stay

The decoration is beautiful! The whole house looks amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. It can get hot but the AC is good enough to cool the whole room. And we really like the doors with code system so we don't have to cary a key or extra card around constantly.

The rooms don't have the usual cleaning, only replacement of toilet towels every 2 days which can be annoying and kinda dirty if you stay longer than 3 days. This would be ok if it was a normal apartment, but its more like a hostel, so you don't really have the tools to clean it yourself. We did have lots of problems with the toilet though. As other comments say, the shower doesn't drain properly, more than 2 min in the shower will flood the toilet and leak to the wooden floor resulting in water dropping to the rooms below. The toilet door also has some issues. In general it could use some maintenance. Also, if you're a tall person you may hit your head a lot on the sparrow room.
