Bad

Located in a quiet surrounding not to far away from the city by car. Parking available in front of the property.

The room was not clean. Especially the bed sheets didn't look and feel like newly washed. The shower was pretty unhygienic.

Pleasant

Bed was comfortable and the place was very close to the lake...just a few minutes drive. As a stop over place to stay, it works. The children enjoyed exploring the farm around it with the cows and rolling hills. I like that it was not loud. We could sleep with the windows open.

Shared bathroom and toilets are not my thing but I knew it before we booked the place. So I expected 2 basic rooms with shared bath and toilet. They were clean so it was ok. And there was one other family and some few couples staying for the night so we didn't have to cue up to wait for our turn at the bathroom.

Wouldn’t go here again

I liked the location and that the room was huge. And that there was a sink in the room, because you don’t have an own bathroom!

Not a huge problem for me, but maybe for other people who haven’t read it: you need to pick up the somewhere else than there where you will stay. The description doesn’t underline that you won’t have your own bathroom. Only a shared one on the hall. And no Wi-Fi, could be a problem for people who need to work.

Room size is OK & view

No toilet and shower in the room - shared bathroom for all guests. This info is not shared in booking No warm water at sink To Overpriced room for that conditions.

I would pay more for a bit more of comfort.

The room was clean and the area nice and calm. We could see the lake from a distance.

We had to pick up the keys in a restaurant where the lady was very unfriendly. The room had no wi-fi. I would not stay in this place again.

A hidden gem in Germany

This was a perfect, beautiful location and fully met all my expectations. The host was extremely kind and the room was impeccable. It was extremely quiet and in a scenic location. Great access to southern Germany and with some superb places to eat. The hsost's own restuarant was fabulous.

Cosy Farm

Amazing view, cosy house and place to sit outside. It really is like a farmhouse with the chicken in front.

Shower (1x) and toilets (x2) are shared with other guests from upto 7 rooms, that could cause trouble if it's full.

The people living in the house next to Bauernhaus Dhillon broke our rear windscreen wiper because we seemed to have parked in a place they didn't like. Not nice. The sheets and duvets smelled too strong of washing powder. Not nice.

When we paid full price, they said we need to go for key 3km in fast food by email.

No warm water + a party with police

Was ok, until there was no warm water at the next day.

No warm water at the second day. And at the evening there was a party by the neighbours - pretty loud and police came at midnight. It did continued after that around 1-2 AM.

Lovely

Lovely quiet and peaceful location. Here is a shared toilet and shared shower but as there wernt a lot of people we didnt have any issues waiting. We had a translation error (our fault) and missed that we were supposed to pick up the keys after 5pm at the restaurant in town. No problem as we had a car so just fyi. Great property overall, supermarket nearby and the kitchen facilities are great.
