About this house rental

A cosy full brick workers cottage close to the orange CBD. This house is suitable for 6 people. We have three bedrooms, with two queen beds, a single bed and a trundle (see photo). Bedding and towels will be provided according to your booking. There is a separate lounge and dining room. The kitchen includes a stove/oven, full size fridge and a microwave as well as crockery, cutlery etc. We also proved a few staples for your breakfast with tea and coffee facilities.

Stayed for an intensive school block at University. Check in process was easy. The place was really clean and tidy. The place was very central and had optimal parking. Beds were really comfy. House was well heated and cosy. Host supplied eggs and bacon which was well appreciated - even if we didn’t get a chance to eat them. Really enjoyed my stay!

Stove didn’t work so no hot food. Excessive nighttime travel noise. No wifi. No clothes dryer nor dishwasher. Ant infestation.

We stayed for a week for a wedding, The cottage is well located, just 800m walk to a pub, and has beautiful vintage features. Large backyard, but not secure. Garden and grass overgrown. Big Rooms and comfy beds were great. Bathroom good. Lack of cleanliness in the kitchen was a real let down. We would have liked more hanging space (for suits, dresses) & a full length mirror would be very useful. May we suggest a BBQ to enjoy that huge outdoor space.

The property was very clean and tidy, comfy bed and close to Orange main town. The owner had provided bread, bacon and eggs, milk etc and even a few frozen meals if you wanted to have a night in. An older style home which had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely return to this property

Excellent, easy stay, close to railway and town centre. Nice to find fresh milk, bread and eggs in the fridge. Good heating and pleasant outdoor area with sunny yard. Recommend, will stay again!

In a great location close to town centre with a super comfy bed. Owners went above and beyond with beautiful linen and little extras (ie salt, oil, clothes washing facilites).

The cottage was very comfortable and came equipped with many homey comforts. The location was a short drive to Town, excellent. The heating was more than adequate and it provided a lovely cosy atmosphere.

Enjoy stay in Orange for the Fire festival. Enjoy the breakfast you left us. But Kitchen needs a good clean. Bedrooms were perfect.

Ease of booking. Excellent little house with plenty of room. Lots of food staples including fresh bread, milk, eggs & bacon. Plenty of games and dvd’s to keep us entertained. Would highly recommend staying.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was well furnished and a set up for a comfortable stay. Andrew was a responsive host clearly communicating and making sure we had everything we needed. We would have liked a WIFI connection but we did manage without by hot spotting our mobiles. Also, it would have been nice to have some instructions on how to work the oven and TV/Blu Ray Player. We worked it all out eventually but with instructions it may have been easier. Thank you Andrew.

The cottage had everything we needed during our stay and the heaters in each room kept us warm whilst it snowed outside. Beds were very comfy and the cottage was spotlessly clean. I needed to extend our stay due to the highway being closed because of the snow. Andrew responded quickly and was able to accommodate my request. Thanks Andrew, your cottage was lovely and I would consider staying here again when I return to Orange.

From the outside it didn't look like much, BUT, once inside the property is very tastefully decorated and lovingly renovated. Extra little touches like bacon and eggs in the fridge for breakfast, milk and coffee on arrival and heater on to make the house nice and cosy all added to the overall experience.

The cottage was a nice easy walk to town. The living spaces are small but for a short stay the house fits the needs of a nice clean simple space. There is a DVD player so bring your own movies otherwise there is a selection of movies for all ages. The kitchen has a stock of basics though suggest bringing a coffee plunger if not a fan of instant.
