This is a lovely town house in the seaside town of Burry Port and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

5 Chandlers Yard is a town house in the ideal holiday location, overlooking the harbour in Burry Port. It hosts four lovely bedrooms, sleeping eight people with a bathroom and shower en-suite. There is an open-plan kitchen/diner, a sitting room with electric fire and a conservatory. Outside is a rear enclosed garden, off-road parking for 2 cars and roadside parking at the front. 5 Chandlers Yard is lovely, family-friendly cottage in a delightful part of Wales.

Amenities: Gas central heating with electric fire. Gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Sky TV with Sky Sports, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate, cot and highchair on request. Off-road parking for 2 cars plus roadside parking. Lockable bike/kayak storage. Garden at front and to the rear with patio furniture. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Beach 3 mins walk.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Burry Port is located on the South West Wales coastline and has a selection of shops, a Post Office, several pubs and restaurants along with the beach and harbour. The golf club is renowned for offering all year round sport, no matter what the weather. The Millennium Coastal Park with its 22kms of off-road cycle track offers one of the most scenic routes in Wales. Carmarthen has lots of main chain stores plus small, unique Welsh gift shops, lovely restaurants, tea rooms, pubs, a bowling alley and a cinema. Llanelli also offers a range of shopping, cinema, theatre and a leisure centre, as well as a Nicklaus-designed modern links golf course.

A friend had moved to Burry Port and we needed a base so we could visit. Chandlers Yard was the perfect location. Everything we needed was in the cottage and more :) Beautiful dog walks and beaches near by.

On arrival we were so very pleased - a helpful call beforehand to see if we needed anything and then a lovely surprise welcome when we entered (even for our pup!) House was very clean and had to double bedrooms for two couples (one with en-suite and one using main bathroom). 3 children slept in two rooms on the top floor and stared bathrooms with their parents. Extra toilet on ground floor was very helpful. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook and have a proper meal in without running out of cutlery / plates etc. Beach was so close we enjoyed a late evening swim and quick stroll back (consider tide times and be mindful of currents). We also used our inflatable kayak and had great access from the back garages to gravel area at back of the house (and utility); then a nice conservatory as well as lounge to sit in. Members of the group were also able to pop out at any point to fish. Quick and easy walking to places to eat and get ice cream or pop to shop for something you forgot as well as get deliveries . Everyone we met was very pleasant - makes such a difference. Also, very close to Pembrey park where there are loads of activities and a lovely beach; we also enjoyed two trips to the Welsh botanical gardens (only circa 40 min drive). Morning of departure we had a lovely walk down to the light house and my son asked if we could book this exact place for next year. Can’t say better than that!

Lovely property in a great location, close to beach, shops, restaurants and a Co-op. Everything you could need was provided and the 'Welcome' basket was much appreciated. Would highly recommend a stay here.
