First a for most we weren’t supposed to check in until I think 4. We left our home the night before a was going to stop half way, but it didn’t happen like that an we drove all night. We got to Lafayette at 6:30 am an went to the Walmart to sleep. I messaged an asked to come early I’d pay that way we had a bed. Mrs. Katie went ahead an let us come early. Which was a huge blessing in itself. We came in and the house was just as described, you could tell you were in Louisiana. Beads hung everywhere. I wish I could have came a few weeks prior for Mardi Gras but no such luck! Maybe next year! Everything we needed was at our fingertips, if we needed it there was a store right around the corner. Everything was wonderful. My husband said the only thing he would have changed was not having blackout curtains in the room we stayed in. That way he could have slept a few more hours. My suggestion is bring an eye mask! Thank you so much to the Riley family for opening their place for my family an I!

My three kids and I had the nicest stay here during a family wedding we came into town for. Katie was very communicative and thorough and we were very impressed with all of the welcoming and cozy features. Love the bead curtain! :) Thanks for our home away from home!

Our second year at this property, place is clean, host is the best, place is well stocked everything we needed for our stay was there, back porch is a great place to visit and unwind after a fun filled day!

We traveled from Texas for a wedding in Henderson which was only 5 miles away. The house was ideally located for us and the price point along with the additional fees beat the cost of having to get two hotel rooms. Being able to cook and do laundry was additional savings for us.

Property was well maintained and has a lot of southern charm. We were visiting relatives in the area, so it was convenient. Host was very responsive to all communications and extremely helpful. Wonderful experience. Would gladly stay at property again if in the area.

Great spot to get away, lots of privacy and comfort to feel at home. Close to many local amenities and minutes from the highway for a short ride to Lafayette.

We knew what to expect having rented once before, nothing matches the peace of mind that comes with knowing the home is free of allergens! We enjoyed being close to great music, dance, and food in Breaux Bridge and visiting Layfayette and many surrounding towns. Our home was our refuge when tired and we appreciated being able to make meals for each other when so inspired.

We stayed 2 nights and basically just slept here, but it was darling and had everything we needed plus more! Katie was easy to communicate with and had no problems at all during our stay. We will definitely be back!!! Breaux Bridge has a ton to offer, so we want to come back when we have more time to explore.

The property is so nice and affordable. I stayed 3 weeks and only left cause home was booked. It was comfortable for two women and a newborn baby. Quiet, safe, and don’t regret the stay. Only problem is one carport for three units. Everyone rushes to get the covenanted covered spot while it rained

Lots of space, very comfortable and within walking distance of Tante Marie’s, Buck & Johnny’s, Chez Jacqueline and La Poussiere, a three minute drive to Lil’s on the Teche and a 15 minute drive to take a Swamp Tour. So lot’s to do. We had a great time.

Stayed for the annual city wide garage sale and will definitely try to get this place next year
We were 6 adults and the accommodations were perfect for us
The owner was so nice and so easy to communicate with and met all our needs and requests
We drove around the town for the garage sales and were within walking distance on Saturday for several of them
You can walk to the Main Street area from the place but we choice to drive because we had our dad who is 88 years old with us so it was easier for us that way and we had no problem finding parking spaces

We all enjoyed the house. Everything we could need and lots of little extra essentials in the house. Beds were comfortable. Katie was very friendly and helpful with all we needed for check in and out, places to eat and what to see while in town.

The communication with Katie, our host, couldn’t have been better. She was always prompt and informative concerning any questions we had. Even though we had the address, she provided detailed directions that made locating the property much easier.
The house was exactly as advertised and is well maintained and charming. The house is clean and very comfortable, as are the beds.
Although we didn’t do any cooking, the kitchen is well stocked with whatever items needed. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations and we felt very safe in the neighborhood.
We would definitely stay here again when visiting anywhere near Beaux Bridge. And again, I cannot say enough good words about our hostess, Katie, and her staff who went above and beyond their duties to return to me a very sentimental item I forgot there.

The house was very clean. The directions lead you to believe the house is downtown. The morning of “new” directions came that lead you away from downtown and it is NOT in walking distance. The listing showed an array of breakfast items provided. There was a carbides container of oatmeal that a previous renter had already used and opened. There was not even bottled water. The “complimentary pantry” had a can of green beans and a little plastic thing of carrots. The fridge had used containers of Mayo, ranch dressing and jelly. Was unsanitary and insulting to say the least as well as out of date so I discarded them. Make sure and bring food.
There is NO organic eggs, milk, juice, or anything if the sort. The neighborhood was quiet albeit a very run down area.

Katie made our stay in Breaux Bridge wonderful. The house was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. The property was perfectly located for us to venture out to the local stores to taste the flavors of south LA. Katie was more than helpful with excellent recommendations of places to visit.

The house is very clean. Linens & sheets smell very fresh. Furniture is nice/clean. Neighborhood is safe. Everything needed is provided except for meals. The back porch has plenty of seating & a fan & light. We have stayed here twice & will rent it again. Thanks!!!
