Wonderful stay in heart of Lisbon

Location, location, location! Clean and well sized rooms too.

Bathroom is a bit smaller, lack of some kitchen appliances and no separate shampoo or body wash.

Wonderful stay in charming accommodation.

Boutique Chiado Suites was a wonderful place to stay. Our suite had narrow wrought iron balconies off both the living room and bedroom, each with double doors, flooding the rooms with natural light. The elegance and charm of the building, dating from the late 1700’s, was shown in high coved ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and a chandelier in the bedroom. Yet the small kitchenette and the bathroom had all modern conveniences. Then bed was comfortable and the comforter and towels new and fluffy. The espresso maker in the kitchen and the daily refills of coffee pods were welcome. And with all the many pastry shops and several small grocery stores within a block of the building made putting together a light breakfast easy. Daily maid service kept everything spotless. The friendly staff at the front desk answered questions, and offered directions, and recommendations. A major metro stop was within a one block walk providing easy access to all of Lisbon. We very much enjoyed our stay and will de return when we again visit Lisbon.

The nearby metro stop had many stairs down and the elevator was out of service. Thankfully, there were escalators going up most of the way. An important thing to note is to check your messages thru Booking several days before your stay. At that time, the accommodation sends you codes to both the front door of the building and your room entry code through that channel. Because of a delayed flight to Lisbon, we arrived after 5pm when reception closed, and because we hadn’t seen this message through Booking, we were unable to get in at first. A kind fellow guest opened the front door for us and eventually a staff member checked a security camera which showed us sitting near the empty reception desk. He came and gave us the code to our room. All would have been easy and much less stressful if we had just seen their message with the codes the day before!

Great stay in the centre of Lisbon.

Very near centre. Room was ample, bed comfortable, clean and tidy. Security system excellent. Room cleaned daily which was not anticipated. No complaints.

It was a bit strange at first not to see any staff but we arrived late. However did not see staff till the evening of the second day. Once you are used to this concept no problems.

Location, Location, Location! Minutes from the metro, funicular, shops and restaurants. Very clean. Helpful reception. Great wifi and Netflix.

Good location, and a clean nice size room

The location was nice and close to shops, and restaurants. We were only there for a night on a layover, so didn't have the opportunity to really enjoy the hotel. However, the front desk clerk was helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and a good size.

Our only issue was we couldn't get the air conditioning to work, but we could open the windows and ended up with a nice cool evening after the rain.

Perfect stay! Everything was as described no surprises.

New decor, room had everything you needed. Personal attention from Carlos at front desk was excellent. Location was excellent for walking or taking the famous 28 tram. Plenty of breakfast places near by.

Excellent location and cute hotel!

Great location and nice room! There isn't a traditional front desk staffed 24/7. Nevertheless the codes to enter the hotel/room was sent promptly and followed up with a phone call to ensure code was received. :)

School next door, can get a bit loud if you are trying t o sleep in.

Perfect stay in Lisbon. Highly recommended..

The apartment was beautifully furnished. We could even watch netflix at night when we were not out exploring the city. The location was superb, very easy to reach the many points of interest of Lisbon. Although it’s a bit of uphill walk, we didn’t think it was a problem at all. And taxi is always available and quite cheap for European city standards. The staff were amiable and helpful, and very easy to communicate to.

Bathroom was a bit narrow, but still very adequate.

Classy, clean, and great value for money in the heart of Lisbon. A gem!

Perfect spot for our short visit to Lisbon. Excellent location, walkable to just about everything. Room was well apportioned, clean, and comfortable.

Only complaint is that the bed was a bit lumpy and dipped in the middle, meaning it was hard to lay flat when sleeping.

Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location

The location is fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they recommended and helped book dinner with a fado show that was the best experience we had in Lisbon! The room was very pretty, warm and spotlessly clean.

One morning one member of the staff was chatting really loudly for a while and I thought that was a bit disturbing.

Beautiful place to stay in beautiful Lisbon

The Boutique Chiado Suites are stylish, well equipped and spotlessly clean. They are also in a great location, just minutes away from all that beautiful Lisbon has to offer. The staff are also great, very friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommend this place.

Exceptional

The concierge was extremely helpful when I had issues at the laundromat. She contacted the manager for me.

Everything was nicely clean, but the bathroom floors had some water (and maybe soap?) stains. When I would walk through, I could see my footprints left behind.
